As with all guides to various things, there is always someone out there who wants to take credit for someone elses work or take advantage of other people and other peoples work scamming them in the process.

We are aware of this issue and we dont take it lightly.

This is everyones only warning.

IF WE CATCH YOU SELLING WIX PROFILES, CHARGE FOR CODING OR ANYTHING ELSE INVOLVING SALES WITH WIX PROFILES. YOU WILL BE BANNED FROM THE GUILD, IGNORED, AND REPORTED.

arrow Being banned from the Guild will result in being unable to view the Guild Forums.
arrow Being put my ignore will will prevent you from posting within any of my threads in the main gaia forums which most defiantly includes my Guide.
arrow We report accordingly within the Gaia ToS, which could result in your trading pass being revoked or even banned from Gaia.

There has been allot of controversy within the guide pages about people selling wix profiles.
The follow is a little information I would like to share with every member of this guild.

I in no way, with my guide or guild nor any crew member of my guild promote the sales of wix profiles in any way. We have placed your only warning (Above) concerning this, and we are in no way responsible for those who choose to break the rules and laws.

I also want to make it very clear to everyone who important is it to know copyright laws, and how severe copyright infringement truthfully is. As an art major I had to study copyright laws, and I have to fully understand them and how they work. So I am going to share some info with everyone, that will hopefully make you think twice before ever committing copyright infringement.

COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT CAN LAND YOU SERIOUS FINES AND IN SOME CASES JAIL TIME.

I hope I have made this clear for everyone.

Question... Can we make/sell the profile, but the buyers have to install the code themselves with the guides the seller did not make? With that no ones really taking credit... sweatdrop

No, with that you are still selling the profile regardless, which is against the ToS and Real life Copyright laws regardless of who codes it.

Selling Wix Profile, period, is forbidden.

What if somebody asks us to make them a profile through WIX? I understand the "Don't Charge Them" thing. But I'm just asking if we were to make somebody a profile out of the kindness of our hearts? I kinda want to make one for my bf.

I know that I have done some free work, and I have had people tip me. If I were to open up a shop where I make free WIX profiles and people tip me, I could accept it, or just tell them no? I just want to be absolutely sure about this.

♪ Now that is kind of walking a thin line.
Tips in Gaia's eyes are payments, even if it is only a 100G.
You can open a shop but you'd have to post everywhere they are free.
And that tips are not acceptable.
You maybe able to accept donations.
But I'd ask this again in the Q&A forum and see if you can get a Mod to reply back. ♫

That's what I was thinking. I'm just not sure if it would be acceptable. I have done free art, and denied tips. And had users make over 1o trades with me just in order for me to accept it...
