The sky was pitch black as Karai ran through the woods. She had no idea what time it was, but she continued to run. I have to find a safe place, she thought.
After running to her limit, she came across a small town. It was dark. Everyone was sleeping.. She didn't know where to go.
She walked into an alley and looked around. Here will do for tonight, she thought. She performed a few hand signs and a hole in the ground opened up about three feet wide. She crawled into her makeshift burrow and fell asleep.

Hybra sat silent, eyes closed. Relaxed, yet focused. He was focusing on the silence. it was one of the things he treasured most in this world.
he let out a sigh. and looked up to the dark, starry sky. 'it is so peaceful... but why do i sense, that it wont last?' he thought.
he slowly stood up. his dark eyes catching the moonlight. "time for some recon work" he muttered. his eyes flashing green. he jumped off the roof and landed in the middle of a quiet, and empty street.

Karai awoke suddenly from her sleep, drenched in cold sweat and panting. Not that dream again... The hole she had created was roomy, so she stretched out. A tiny bit of moonlight shone through the opening of the hole, about seven feet above her.
She put her hand up to her necklace and sighed. I will get her back. I promise.
She turned over and went back to sleep.

Michigo was sleeping peacefully in his alley,his necklace hanging down out of his shirt,his gauntlets still on.His katana was laying in his lap,covered by Yamazuru,his monkey companion.Yamazuru was also sound asleep.Michigo was slightly snoring, then all of a sudden shot up,sweat pouring down him.Yama was sent flying into a garbage can,making a loud BANG! as he landed.He scratched his head and started to yell and jump around,when Michi quickly put a finger to his own mouth,which silenced the monkey."I sense something.Or maybe two things."Michigo silently rose,grabbing his sheathed katana and connecting it to his waist,letting his sheath sit against his leg.He waved to Yama,who jumped on his shoulder as Michigo sneaked to the corner,and peeked his head out.

She was startled awake yet again, this time by a loud crash. She panicked and grabbed her kunai. She backed farther into the hole.

Hybra heard a crash in the distance. and a small grin shown on his face. he closed his eyes and vanished into the wind.
a light whisper could be heard thrhough the breeze as he appeared infront of an alley. he saw an overturned garbage can.
he adjusted hi eyes and saw michi in the shadows before him.
"whats with the noise? people are trying to sleep." he said. slightly cold.

In the darkness, Karai heard voices. Her breathing increased. Aren't people supposed to be sleeping at a time like this?? She wasn't sure if she could trust whoever was up there. She kept her guard up, despite her fatigue.
Her curiosity got the better of her, and she neared the opening of the hole. She looked up at the opening, hoping to catch what the voices were saying. Hoping that she hadn't been found out.

hybra caught a small blur of heat in the corner of his vision. his eyes flashed emerald green in the night. almost glowing.
it looked like a small circle. in the middle of the alley. he squinted slightly. as though it would improve his already clear vision.
his eyes locked back onto michi right infront of him. "anyway... why the noise? it was peaceful, and quiet" he said, in a heavy whisper. while walking his way past michi, to the small heat source

Michigo was caught off guard by the appearence of Hybra,and quickly spun around and backed away,staying on his guard.Yama was crouched down on his right shoulder,tail in the air,ready to pounce.This guy looked familiar,but Michigo couldn't put his tounge on it.He was ready for this guy to spring at him,and had his gauntlets ready for the blades to pop out and attack him mid-strike.Michigo backed up,and couldn't find solid ground for his heel to fall on.He jumped forward,hoping the man would not think he was attacking,his Auragan activating at the same time.He spun around mid-air,and looked into the hole that he almost fell into.He saw a girl,around 15,holding a kunai."Wha?"He said in confusion,looking behind his back to the figure behind him,who was walking to the hole."I sensed t-two powerful things while I was sleeping.I bolted up when I woke up,and Y-Yama here was sent into that t-trash can.I'm guessing y-your one of the power t-things I sensed"

She felt the footsteps getting closer. She didn't want to immediately trust anyone. She couldn't risk getting hurt, not while she was so tired. She decided to wait for an encounter, rather than starting an attack of any sort. She pulled out her diamond kunai and waited, straining her ears.
It's kind of hot in here.

Hazel sat on top of the ramen shop watching the village quietly keeping her eyes peeled for something interestering to happen.

Karai was stunned. She figured by the shakiness in his voice that he was not any immediate danger to her.
She nodded slowly. "I guess...."
She put her kunai away.
"So then..." she said tensely. "What was this other powerful thing..?"
(ouuu pete xD i will miss you.)
(and I suppose I'll be going to bed too. I get up at 10 every morning soooo ya better show. I'm having way too much fun. ^^)
