Woohoo... Another thread in one day! Sorry bout' that guys!
Most of you know I ride the lovely Cimmaron (Signature). Today my friend called me freaking out because she was at the barn and said that Cimmaron and Toonie "Went to another barn". The barn owners didnt specify what they meant, I don't know if they sold her, or shes just there to keep Toonie comfort (the other theory is Toonie is off getting trained).
I'm shocked that the barn owners didnt tell me, they knew I was about to lease her, we've been talking about it for awhile making a deal and such
I don't even own the horse but she's my baaby! I had a good cry today.
ooookay! Updates updates updates, I'm sorry about all this... But I need to tell someone and rant, without it getting back to the barn owners.....
Sooooo, it's not looking great.. If you talk to Mary, Cim is for sure coming back, and if you talk to Doug, both horses are gone...
Which PROBABLY means that CimmyZoo is gone.. and they don't want to tell me and have my feelings hurt.
This HAS happened before, with the same horse too, but it was before I started riding there and my instructor was riding her. My instructor quit riding for 8 months, thats how upset she was.
I've been riding Cims baby actually... his name is Atlas, he's a lot bigger... and WAY easier to ride. He's just REALLY fat. I might be going in a show with Atlas soon... Same series I went in with Cim last year.. I need a show name for Atlas now haha.
Anywho... I'm just sad that they wont just TELL me that she got sold.. Plus I'm sure if I call her new owners, I will be able to go visit her.
Anywho. HOPEFULLY this is the end of this...

If you were in the process of working out a lease on her, I'd hope that they wouldn't have gotten rid of her without letting you know. Don't jump to conclusions, there could be a lot of explanations. smile

GOOD NEWS!
Since CimmyZoo is lame atm, shes no good for riding.
Turns out, Toonie is on trial/training (They've been trying to sell him for awhile) Cims just there to keep him company, and since no ones riding her, she can go there, she will be there for a while, but I can visit anytime I want. Woo! What a relief sweatdrop

Kso... I talked to one of the barn owners.... just to totally confirm that she WAS coming back...
Shes supposed to be a lesson pony, but since the instructor doesnt like people riding her, I'm the only one riding her...once a week.
So the told the person that Cim is with if they like her, they can have HER and Toonie....
When the barn owner saw how sad I was... he was like "You can ride Brea, she's been doing really well".. Breas this chestnut arab, shes really cute, but I dont even know if I like her, I never spend time with her. I was getting SO FAR with Cim, we were going to start seriously showing.
Even my instructor is upset, she used to ride Cim too, she LOVES her as much as I do. crying

Were they aware that you were planning on leasing her? Because that would solve the problem of her not getting ridden I'd imagine...
I'm sorry that they snuck around behind your back on this one. As someone who's had a lot of horses taken from them, I know how it feels. sad

I've had them come up to me and ask if I was planning on leasing her, and if the lease would continue through the school year if we started leasing in the summer.
We havent brought it up in a while, maybe they thought I wasnt interested anymore? The worst thing is, this is the SECOND time they've owned Cim. They bought her back because they needed more lesson ponies, this was when my instructor was still teaching so she was getting used. The new instructor insists the kids used the other horses stressed

oooohkay!
So a lot has happened.
First someone told me they forsure sold her and she wasnt coming back...
However... my AMAZING instructor was at the barn and asked the owners what was up, and she said that Cim was forsure coming back... In October, so I have a little bit to wait, but I am sooooo excited to her to come back 2011 show season will be great!
