Uhm, so in hopes of calling some more attention to this how do you guys want to choose the server? I know that there are tons of other groups out there that many people are part of as well and we should try to, at least, merge the several groups we are in together to the same server. Like I know there are a good 100+ people choosing at Eorzeapedia.com to go to a server together. They're going to choose one person to pick the server when the game releases. And I know that a lot of you guys are also part of Cloudy.
Welp, I think we should try to get us on the same server as one or both of these groups if possible. I don't want to have people choose between this guild, cloudy, or Eorzeapedia, or whatever other group they might want to join.
If you're thinking of possibly joining another group, post which one here so that we can be aware of it.
Sorry I feel like I'm rambling. I'll summarize.
Basically, a lot of us are part of others groups as well and I think since we're a smaller guild we should try, instead of just choosing a random server for ourselves, join a server thats also going to be populated by other groups members here may also have ties to. This way we minimize the number of people we lose if we were to choose a server that's separate.

Agreed. As soon as we find out the server names we will be able to handle this situation. I for one am part of 2 groups, Cloudy being on of them along with this guild, and I'm hoping there won't be an issue getting them both on the same server XD

basically we need a buddy system thread or w/e its called where the first person gets onto a server then invites next person who invites the next person and so on basically just make a post when youve got the game and are ready to go

That's works, once we find how things works within game more planning can continue.
Plus we have to keep in mind of the PS3 players.

I believe they said you can pick your server so no one really needs to invite anyone.

Yep they said in an interview recently that we'll get to pick our servers. So its just a matter of selecting the right one.
Does anyone know how the Cloudy folks are choosing a server? We should see if its possible to get Cloudy on the same server as Eorzeapedia. oO;

well then we need to assign someone whose allready preordered the game to pick the server

Hrmm Well one of us Cloudy folk should bring it up in Vent next time ourt Fearless Leader is on to see if Cloudy could just join the same server that our Gaia Guild does. Unless Cloudy members are trying to group with yet another future LS, I don't see it being an issue.
But like I said, there's really nothing we can do until we know server names, so we can all harass our LS leaders to simply join, lets say server Kuja for example. I mean, we could just get simply and day the 4th server down the list, lol but I foresee major issues with that.

Who is all going to be playing the collectors edition and will be playing 8day ahead of the regular people? I know pretty much most of cloudy is.

Yep all of us PS3 players upgraded our PC's to play it 6 months and 8 days early ;D
This Server thing just sounds like a big dilemma ^^;

Well if the other people for this guild aren't getting CE it wont be to hard then. If people are we will come up with some kinda of system. >.> Since cloudy uses vent the leader can tell everyone at that moment what to pick.... but for this we could use an Messenger or if people can leave gaia running in the background you can reload a designated page that will say the server. Also dose gaia have messenger system thing? I think it dose but not sure.

Well I'm getting the collectors edition, not so much to play early but to just have the stuff.
The only factor involved with me is getting the money to upgrade my computer in time.

Well for getting this guild on the same server as cloudy isn't a problem. We find out which one they've decided on joining the day of release and then we just join the server as a guild here once we've found out what server their on. Its just a waiting game until someone gives the word on their forums.
I was just seeing if there was a possibility to try and get Cloudy on the same page as Eorzeapedia and any other groups we are a part of to have a mega server of just dedicated players. *hopes*
