She was trying to soak up the last of the suns rays before it set completely. Despite how she might be dark, Candence adored the sun and everything it offered. That's not to say she was in the sun at all times, but if it wasn't too hot, she could usually be found in the grass just sunning herself like she was now.
Her eyes were closed, so she didn't see the male coming, but she did hear him. Her ears twitched and she flipped over onto her stomach; previously sunning one of her sides. Then he spoke, and she opened her eyes to finally see a sunset colored male before her. Only, it took her a moment to realize he was a male. He looked so much like a part of the sky, that she stumbled backward and then saw that it was him.
"V-very.. Sorry, you startled me for a minute..." She gave him a small smile and then settled back in her previous spot, watching him carefully.
