Dritan had requested yet another melee class and who was she to say no? The kid wasn’t half bad as a ninja so what was she to care? He had previous training and had a good amount of skill at it and various other things. She figured he could probably master the art of throwing knives or other things relative to mercenary work within a day of practicing. Of course, he had said his mom or whatever was once a ninja so that only helped things along.
And yet, despite kind of wanting to continue the path they had started before, she would still, as always, give him a chance at trying something else. Not to mention the heat was affecting her to the point of almost canceling classes... No, it wasn’t THAT bad. Besides, the kid had said he was far more into actual art than sneaking around. Pah. Society today was far less harsh than that on her home world that was for sure.

Dritan was a little nervous as he had lied to his mother to where he was going as she thought that he was going to the art store and she knew from many prevouse experences that he could be there for hours to what she didn't know, but she could slightly guess at it. His wings knowing were they were going were very excited as most of them liked to fight as they wanted to learn more to were they could protect there boy to the best they could.
It wasn't too long of a walk from home to the labs to where the class was being held. The wings didn't like the labs but would only tolorate going there if they got to learn something and they did like Ary. He walked into the classroom still very nervous to what he was doing. "Hi, Ary." he said as he was trying to not be nervous as his mother wasn't here. All of his wings were moveing about to get good looks at Ary with there own eyes and pushing each other about for the best places to look. "Quite it will you," he wispered to his wings to stop what he knew that a fight could break out and the stopped moveing around but were still looking at Ary with happy smiles on there faces.

"Ah, there you are. Something wrong?" Ary asked, hurriedly pulling a strand of hair back into her ponytail, hiding it from view. She had seen that the usual snow-white color had suddenly and drastically shifted to black and, well, wasn't at all pleased about it. But, it was a problem for another time and day. All she'd need was some bleach and a long day indoors...
"And hi to you four too," she added with a slight smile, waggling her fingers at the rather eager wings. "Couldn't wait to see me again, could you?"

Dritan just smiled sheepishly at Ary as each of his wings bobbled up and down with excitement in there way of showing off. "Well are excited and like seeing you with there own eyes," he said as he thought on how to say what he was thinking. "It was them that convinsted me to come for another class would be a good idea and to why I'm a little nervous is that my mother doesn't know that I'm here or a little more intersted in learning more about fighting. As I will never hear the end of it," he said as it was true and then she would be more forceful on getting him training but he was unsure to what type of fighting he liked and didn't want to be forced into anything.

Ary stifled a giggle at their excitement, finding it both cute and amusing at the same time. "I see. Well, I'm glad they convinced you to come and don't worry, I won't tell her you came here. So, I know last time we did more stealthy things but is there anything new you want to try or do you just want to continue with something a little more complex?" she asked, suddenly pondering what an artist would be good at. Nothing exactly came to mind, unfortunately.

"Thanks. I think that one day I will tell her but at a much later date as I know if I did I would get lots of training and more presure than I already get. But I found it fun training with you and if this sounds strange but relaxing as well," Dritan said as he thought on her question to what he wanted to learn more about. "Well I have been intersted in blades and would like to learn the differences of them and how to effectivly use them," he said a little shyly as he always found them beautiful works of art but knew little on the differences to him and to how they were used, besides the household ones.

A slow, but almost eager grin crept onto Ary's face at the sheer idea of teaching more of the differences of swords instead of just swordplay alone. "Now I know I chose well in selecting a favorite. Blades come in many different things, as you're probably aware. From kitchen knives to switchblades to katanas to broadswords, they're all a blade of some kind. Generally, kitchen knives are a last resort when fighting in a kitchen. Once had a food fight that turned bloody that way..." she explained, already digging through her cabinets full of varying swords and the like. Oh this was DEFINITELY going to be fun.
"Knives in general are a sort of off-hand weapon, like a last resort or for traveling light. Or, like you probably know, for assassins since it's easily concealed and can be made from just about anything. Swords, on the other hand, are a little different," she continued, grabbing an entire armful of swords and setting them onto her desk before going back for more, this time grabbing a dozen knives that ranged greatly in shape and size.
"You want to learn the basics of how to use them as well?" she added, realizing this was supposed to be a melee class, not a lecture on her favorite weapons.
