As you may have heard, Aw Heck has stepped down as Captain and put me in charge. So I'm trying to spruce up the place a bit by cleaning up some older threads and updating our subforums and such.

One of the first things I want to do is check up on our Guild Members...I went through the list and saw that many of our members have been members for some time but haven't participated in quite a while. So I want to do a sweep of the list to get rid of any "dead" accounts, which will help keep the cost of Guild announcements down, and hopefully help revive the guild a bit! So in keeping with that, if you'd like to remain a member of the Guild, YOU MUST POST SOMETHING IN THE GUILD BY SATURDAY, JULY 24TH! Might I suggest posting in the newly created Introductions thread?

Also I want some feedback from our members about new subforums or things you'd like to see more (or less) of in the guild!

And one more thing, which may be a bit of a sensitive issue: the guild name. Since Aw Heck is no longer captain and will be spending much less time here, should we change the name of the guild? And if so, do you have a suggestion for a new name?

Hmm..well i know jess Fighter and Candle havent posted, but thats cause they rarely ever post anywhere, i'm fixing to send them a text and update them about this

as for name: go ahead and change it, but let me know what if you guys need a simple banner for it

as for Canle113, i'm hangin with him tonight so i'll let him know then...

Well if it's okay with Aw Heck then I guess you can change the name but I like the name it's cool. However, it has to be something that's sets it apart from the other Pokemon guilds around Gaia. sweatdrop Sadly I am not good at naming things but I do like how small and friendly we all are. Oh and hold off on getting rid of members please. It's the summer so many people are probably on vacation or something. You should wait till after Summer. 3nodding

That's actually a good idea. The waiting a while to get rid of members thing.

I will probably give folks a grace period before I do a clean sweep of the members list. But in the meantime, if you know anyone else in the guild who hasn't been active in a while, remember to poke 'em! wink

As far as the name goes, I wondered if there might be confusion, but if everyone is good with it, I'll definitely stick with it. I do like the double meaning to it, though!
