Pur'Coeur had seen her with her own two eyes one morning. She wasn't quite sure how she was seeing her or why, and truthfully her mother thought her rambling on about seeing this little cub were a bit crazy, but Pur would swear on her grave she had. A dark gray and black cub, furrier than herself, wandering about with their parent. She knew that in some way they were supposed to be important to her, so while her mother was hunting one day she wandered off to find this black cub.
It hadn't taken her long till she recognized the area she was in from the weird vision she had, looking around quickly for the cub in question. She didn't have much time to look for her as her mother would discover her gone once she came back from the hunt. Also, her brother and sister would notice she was missing as well.

Zola had settled for a nap while her family played. She wasn't too far off...still in hearing range, but the noises were less loud from her napping spot among the grass and several large stones. The little cheeton liked naps. Especially when she'd had a particularly bad dream at night. Like she had the prior night. It had left her shaking, and she'd wriggled her way closer into her mother and siblings before she'd managed to fall asleep again.
An unfamiliar scent caught her nose and she made a curious mewl, black eyes opening sleepily. Who was there? She stretched and stood, looking around before spotting the mostly-white cub. Oh? A new playmate? "Hello?"

Pur had heard the other cub before she had seen her, but it didn't take too long to spot the cheeton. She was almost pitch black, like Pur's sister, and it stood out greatly against the savannah's backdrop. She smiled widely, recognizing the cub in the distance. It was the one from her dreams, the dreams she had during the day time, and took a running charge for Zola.
"Hiya!" Pur called, happy cubby noises escaping her maw every couple of steps she took.
It was exciting to meet someone new, someone she saw in her dreams. Her siblings were either not as interested in the love and play she wanted or afraid to be. Their mother wasn't the nicest person in the world, and though Pur loved her, she felt sad constantly that their mother didn't love them back.

Yay! The other cub seemed happy to see her! This was a good thing, right? Zola smiled cheerfully, her tail switching behind her in a reflection of that. It was always exciting when one met new creatures!
"Hello! I haven't seen you before. My name's Zola!" Though she didn't raise her voice, there was definitely cheer in it, a happiness to see the other cub.

"I'm Pur'coeur," Pur replied, rushing up to Zola and giving her a purr and an affectionate rub. It wasn't an unusual thing for an affectionate cub to do, but it was probably a confusing one to Zola, unless she was like Pur and was too quit the affectionate little fluff ball.
Pur's light gray eyes blinked at Zola in happiness as she let leak her little secret, "I've seen you, though. I saw you in my dreams!"
Pur could only describe the visions she saw as 'dreams'. She didn't think she was actually awake when they happened, and if she was awake when they happened than they were just particularly vivid day-time dreams. She had no idea that she was having visions, even if she knew that her father happened to be a god.

Zola was indeed an affectionate little fluffball, coming from a very loving and sweethearted family, and purred and nuzzled the paler cub back. "It's nice to meet you, Pur!" The 'secret' had Zola a little confused for a moment...then she perked up.
"In your dreams? I have dreams where I see others all the time!" Her tail swished energetically behind her a moment, before calming. "I don't think I've seen you in a dream yet, though."

"You haven't?" Pur asked, quirking her head to the side quietly as she contemplated this information. Maybe the people she saw in her dreams didn't have the same dreams as her. That was a little disappointing to the pale cub, as it would have been much more agreeable with her goal if the people she wanted to meet saw her and wanted to meet her as well.
"Well, maybe you will!" Pur chirped, giving the other bouncy cub a smile. "I see my brother and sister a lot in my dreams. And now I see a lot of other people too. Most of them are black like you are! Mommy says it's because my Daddy is a God!"
Pur looked exceptionally pleased by this fact, regardless whether or not her mother was particularly happy with their father or them. From their travels, Pur had learned that Gods were exceptional beings capable of great things, and that being the son or daughter of one was a special occurance.
