Bleez had once again been shoved into an activity that was not of her own idea. Since she wasn't getting out into the world enough, Moira thought a good outdoor activity would help her outlook on life. Ever since her growth, Bleez had become more temperamental and less social. Moira hoped that the addition of an animal into a social and active situation would allow her to open up to others and return her to a more happy-going person.
The tomboy spawn waited by the gate that led to the stables. She'd been leaning against the wooden fence for some time now, waiting for the horse riding lesson to start. Apparently they were still waiting on one more person. Whatever, the sooner they'd get this over with, the better, she thought. Her tail swished back and forth, impatiently.
She glanced around, she'd not seen a single horse since arriving. Some horse ranch this was, she huffed, the air escaping the fanged side of her mouth. She had heard some though, she admitted. Eh, whatever.

Since her new employer was paying for her 'lady lessons', Lissy was forced to take horse riding lessons. As she pedaled her bike down to the stables, she couldn't help thinking how useless this was. Who rode horses anymore? And what the hell did horses have to do with taking pictures?
When she pulled up to a stop in the driveway, her shoulders slumped. "Oh....Urm, sorry everyone, because I'm late..." She hadn't even realized. Maybe Vincent should have driven her instead...? Apathetically, she shrugged and chained her bike to the fence, taking a look at everyone else out of the corner of her eye.
Her tentacles, however, noticed what she did not. They both preened up like prized cobra's, sizing up the specimen that was Bleez. They favored spawn with tails, but the splotched skin kept them away. They'd had enough of that with Roman.

As the tentacles were busy sizing Bleez up, she was busy returning the favor. So they’d been waiting on a spawn? Eh, whatever, she didn’t seem to notice Bleez… though those things on her side looked like they were taking interest in her. Weird, she thought, it was like they had a mind of their own. Bleez had never dealt with a Lust spawn before, or not enough to get an idea about what they were all about, anyway. She knew those things were called tentacles, and that was it. This new arrival, or the Late One, as she would refer to her until a new name took its place, was very… colorful. Bleez was finding it hard to look away, though she didn’t know why.
“’Cuse me, sir,” came a rough voice above Bleez, “Might wanna back away from that there fence, ‘fore Trigger here gets ya. He’s none too kind ta new folks.” Bleez looked up to see a horse’s cream-colored muzzle staring her in the face. She jumped back a bit in surprise that the thing had gotten so close to her. She’d been too entranced by the spawn to notice. In any case, Bleez gave the man a death glare. How DARE he insinuate that she was a “he.” She hissed at the horse lowly and backed away from the fence, like she was told. Her tail twitched like an irritated cat’s as she listened to the man speak to everyone.
“Howdy, m’name’s Joshua. Ya can call me that or Josh, don’ really matter.” He tipped his cowboy hat to everyone gathered with a dusty glove. He was your generic-looking cowboy, complete with blue jeans and a stubbly beard. Bleez was not impressed. “Today I’m gonna show ya’ll the basics of horseback ridin’. Uh, yeah?” Someone had raised their hand and Joshua nodded his head to them.
“Where’re all the horses? I haven’t seen a single one since we’ve been here.” Bleez looked a little at ease, glad some else asked what was on her mind.
“They’re ‘round back,” he thumbed over his shoulder, sitting up a little from his previously slumping posture. “We keep ‘em ‘way from cars so they don’t spook.” He pulled on the reigns, turning Trigger around. “If ya follow me ta the stables, we’ll getcha all set up with a horse.” He began to slowly trot off towards the stables, the few people that were there followed eagerly.
Bleez, on the other hand, kept her distance. She already didn’t like this guy bossing her about; she didn’t see the situation getting any better.

Languidly, Lissy turned on her side, propped up against the fence to giggle at the boy. At least, what appeared to be a boy. She never noticed that her eclectic style of clothing might be why he'd never seen the horse in the first place.
That hiss...Lissy's longer tentacle coiled back defensively. She stroked the length of it and really looked at the other spawn. Clearly he was wrath based, since he had the same look as her younger brother, but the rest she didn't know. Passively, she stepped closer and listened to Josh.
Seeing how the other spawn held back, Lissy bravely approached and looped her arm with Bleez's, smiling from ear to ear. "Hey, my name's Elisabetta, but you can call me Lissy. Wanna be my riding partner? I'd like to know that someone's going to pick me up when I fall flat on my a**."

Bleez instinctively jerked back when the other spawn not just touched her, but started talking excitedly to her. "S-sorry?" her voice obviously that of a girl... or a very feminine guy. She blinked before continuing, "I'm.Bleez." Her speech was quick, "I.guess.I.can.be.your.partner. Dunno.'bout.the.picking.ya.up,though." She mentally face palmed at herself. "I.don't.mean.you're.heavy.at.all! I.just.mean.that.I'll.probably.be.on.my.butt.more.than.you.will"
Great job, she thought, great first impression! She sighed, this was very awkward.

Lissy bounced back with her hands up, eyes opened wide. He wasn't a he at all, he was a girl. Well, he'd been cute to begin with, so being a cute girl was probably better. She very obviously took a glance towards where a male's 'package' might be, and not seeing so much as a bump decided this was indeed a female.
She laughed a sheepishly. "I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable." Her tentacles raised up. "Them too. And, well,....at least we won't be alone on the ground."
Looking back to where the rest of the group was disappearing, she started walking after them into the stable. "I hope I get a donkey. Something slow, fat and dumb."

Bleez stared at the odd spawn. What the hell was her problem? And that look! What was with that?! Bleez tensed up out of instinct but her curiosity made her ask, "Your,uh... tentacles.right? They.have.a.mind.of.there.own?"
As Lissy trotted off, Bleez to hopped to a quicker pace to keep up. "I.bet.I'm.faster.than.a.horse." she muttered. This really seemed like a waste of time to her.

Elisabetta's pale fingers trailed along the worn wood of the stalls, bouncing over little grooves and latches. When they were brought up, her chibi tentacle curled in on itself while the longer on peeped back at Bleez. "Sometimes," She said offhandedly, her boots clipping on random stones. "But not really. They just follow my moods."
She didn't catch the last bit, as they were nearing the horses and things became louder. Then she stopped, a tick working in her mouth. "Their huge. I mean, I knew they were big, but...woah!" Please give me a small one...slow, fat and stupid...slow,fat and stupid.
"There ya'r." Lissy turned to see a younger stable boy leading a Chestnut stallion her way. "This here's Slim. He's a real goodin' if ye'r nice enough to 'im." He patted the horse's rump as it stared down at Lissy. Being naturally on the short side, she couldn't help getting a little nervous at the thought of sitting ontop of the beast.
She came around to the side, and thanks to the boy's help, was able to get up in the sadle. Slim started forward, shaking his head and she gripped the rein's tightly. "I'm going die. I just know it," she murmured.

Bleez's expression showed she'd had the same reaction to horses that Lissy did.
Another stable hand led a black and white stallion over to Bleez. "This'un's name's Bessy."
Really? Bleez scowled. That was a cow name... and it looked like a mix between a cow and a horse. She was already hating this joke of a horse.
Reluctantly, she clambered on to the horse's back and into the saddle. She took hold of the reigns and slipped her feet into the stirrups.
As Lissy's Slim began to walk off, Bessy didn't budge. Bleez sat still for a moment. "Um..." she flicked the reigns a bit, she'd seen that done on movies to get the horse going, right? But Bessy stood still. What the heck?! Bleez was starting to get aggravated; her tail swaying back and forth like an angry cat's.
Joshua cleared his throat, getting everyone's attention. "Awright, first lesson's stoppin'! It's easy 'nough! All's ya gotta do is pull back on the reigns." He demonstrated on Trigger, who was already stopped. Trigger shook his head bit as he chomped on the bit in his mouth.
Who care's about stopping? I can't even get mine to go! Bleez was fuming.

Lissy dug her heels into Slim's sides to keep on, and found that he'd stopped. Apparently Joshua was the horse whisperer because as soon as he'd spoken, Slim looked up at the man. Weird, much? She turned over to see that Bleez hadn't moved at all. At least she'd passed the first lesson.
"Stopping? Okay." Lissy sat up straighter and as the other horses around her started cantering, so did Slim. He ambled easily, turning his curious head this way and that to get the gossip. "Aaaaalllright, stop." When she pulled back on the reign's, he blustered, shook his head and kept walking. "What the hell, man? Your supposed to stop." She tried it again, this time with a little more force, which caused him to stop.
Elisabetta smile. "Good boy, Sl- HEY!"
Instead of staying still, Slim started walking in reverse.

Joshua chuckled at Lissy's attempted stopping. "Guess I shoulda warned ya. If'n you pull too hard on the reigns, yer horse will go backwards." Nice to say that now. "You can also say 'Whoa' and that should help 'em stop." He addressed all present.
Bleez was still trying to figure out how to get hers to movie. She'd tried kicking it with her heels like she saw Lissy doing, but that only managed to get the horse to shudder. She was about ready to say "F' this!" and walk out.
"Ya'll know how ta turn 'em with the reigns, seems like. So, naw most of ya know to get a horse goin' alls ya need ta do is kick 'em a bit with yer heels. Naw don't try it jus' yet." He held out a hand as some of the people were about to give their horses a swift jolt. "Also, try sayin' 'Giddy Up'. We're gonna move outta the stables naw and get ya some ridin' in!" Josh steered Trigger outside effortlessly, then called back. "Go 'head! Lead 'em out 'ere!"
The Wrath spawn decided one more try, otherwise she'd be outta here! She kicked the horse with her heels and hissed, "Giddy.Up." With a little shudder the horse began to slowly wander outside with the others. "Seriously? I.can.walk.faster'n.dis!"

"Could have used that earlier, k, thanks." She murmured, finally having stopped Slim in his tracks. The horse took the oppurtunity to start chowing down on some weeds.
Elisabetta sat up straighter in the saddle. Giddy up, huh? It sounded cheesy, but if it worked it worked. "Giddy up." Then she clipped his side with her heels. Slim walked, but he kept his head to the ground, ripping up roots as he went. "I swear. If I didn't know better, I'd say you were a Gluttony kid in disguise. Snack later, go now!"
Her ears perked up and Lissy looked back, snickering with her hand over her mouth. "Maybe you should just carry him instead."

"No.joke!" Bleez agreed, in an annoyed tone. "This.is.about.stupid.enough!"
Her ire had gained the attention of Joshua, who moseyed on over to her and her horse. He'd seen far too many spoiled rich kids complain about how there horse wasn't fast enough. By this point, he was sick of it. "Well, ya wanna race then there, fella?"
Bleez too had had enough. She stuck a clawed finger out at the burly instructor, "I.ain't.no.FELLA! I'm.a.GIRL! And.I'd.LOVE.to.race,but.this.horse.can.barley.MOVE! So.how'm.I.supposed.to.race?!"
Joshua ignored the fact that Bleez was a girl and continued his offer, a confident smirk on his face. "Nah, I'm talkin' 'bout you, on yer two little spindly legs, verses me an' Trigger here!"
"My.pleasure!" Bleez hissed. She hopped off Bessy and followed Trigger and Josh to a post that stood alone. Bessy meanwhile stopped moving entirely to stare at the clouds... or something.
"Right, here, ta that tree, way out thar," he pointed to a tree that was a good distance off. "...an' back. Got it, fella?"
"Yeah," Bleez snarled as she got into a ready position.
"Anyone wanna count an' say 'go' fer us?" Joshua looked at the crowd, his confidence overflowing.

Elisabetta squeaked and turned around in her saddle, straightening up as Slim took his good ol' time forward. Part of her wanted to do something to make Bleez smile, but the other half knew what wrath kids did under pressure and wanted to watch out. When the chestnut stallion had finally had his fill and was ready to canter out into the world, they were stopped. Please say it's not a fig- Well, it was close enough. Since everyone else suddenly had better things to do, Lissy raised her hand and nudged Slim forward. "I'll do it, Joshua. And I'll do one better; five dollars says that Bleez beats Trigger. Hands down." She grinned.

"Well, no one said the purdy ones were the smart ones. A'ight, I'll wager ten one meself an' Trigger here." Josh smirked at Lissy, then directed his attention to the crowd that had now become more interested in the race. "Nah, I don' usually do this sorta thang, but who else wants in?" Various people chimed in with bets, handing their money over to the designated race starter. No one, however, bet on Bleez. Most bests were placed on how quick Trigger would beat her.
Bleez, on the other hand, was getting antsy. She wanted to show this guy up and quick! She stood, crossing her arms over her chest. "Can.we.start.yet?" she snarled.
"A'ight, fella, calm yerself!" Josh cooed as he pulled Trigger back around. "Bets closed, le's get dis race started!"
"FINALLY," Bleez huffed, settling herself back into her ready position.
