I haven't played the original since the start of high school, so I'm a little out of practice. I want decent armour sets but don't see any lists of them on Gamefaqs, is that weird?
Anyway, chat about where you are and what you're questing/hunting for.

Google 'Monster Hunter Wiki' and use that instead.
Uhm, going for HR 31 on my new main for Rathian Armor + so I can finally drop sobs and look for Rubies.

I actually found and bought the original after getting Tri.
Let's see, right now I'm stuck at my current hr until I beat the next urgent, but I guess my next planned step would be to kill the Royal Ludroth in the arena two more times so I can get my sharq lance. 3nodding

Currently just about to do the Disco Chicken quest, but haven't played in weeks. Metroid Prime Trilogy is just more fun. xd
Plus, my innanet connection is unstable, and all my friends are HR 40s while I'm HR 2. xd

Ribbin Just started doing all the one star quests. I think I have the Hunter's armour, what set should I be hunting for next? o: That's the set I'm still using. I like the Psychic abilities, and there's no other way for me to get them right now other than using this armor set.

@Cookie: Yarp.
@Ribbin: XD As for the armor, you'll have to wait until you get to the next area but, the Rhenoplus armor is great. It's amazing for the Barroth and even the Rathian. Also consider getting the Royal Ludroth armor for water fights. Until then, you should be fine with the aromor you have. wink
And, fyi, if you haven't fought it yet, that first fight against the Royal Ludroth is like one of the toughest fights in the single player game.

Just need to hunt more Altaroth and Giggi so I can get the final piece of the Loc Lac armour. =D
Then I'm going for Jaggi and Rhenoplos armor. ='D
Can't wait until I can get a poisonous dagger so all these bug carves are possible again.
