Because sometimes one is better than the other.

Thanks to Death Note I accept more to different versions of a book or show.

However, I read the second volume of Vampire Dairies (first one was checked out) and loved it. Saw the show and despised it. Got to the begining of the third volume and I'm like WHAT!? eek

Well I read all the vampire Diaries and was totally disappointed with the show but then got caught up with the show instead of the books so I couldn't understand what was going on at some parts. So I get what you mean.

I started watching the show but when it got to Damian created a vampire I lost interest.

In the begining of the third volume, the girl lost her memories which made no sense since she had perfect memory at the end of the second book.

I usually like to read the book before seeing movies bc the book fills in the missing pieces and extra details...movies would be too long if everything was included 4laugh

Books. They make things better and the directors and producers usually leave out lots of stuff.

I tried to watch True Blood but the vampire fangs looked so fake, I could have did better with Halloween costume teeth. The books are awesome xd

That can actually happen in real life. If the brain suffers a trama they can have various degrees of amnisia. I also hated the series as well, the books were so much better.

The show made it look like a Twilight-wannbe (and that's coming from me and I'm a twilight fan, book wise)

Not a fan of the books or the movies. I will admit the book was better than the movie. I think they decided that since twilight was popular to make the characters twilight-afied. That iritated me more than anything else that and the fact that it took way to long to do things. Was more like a vampire soap opera. stressed Sorry whent on a tiny rant there. sweatdrop

Books! Movies a lot of the time suck compared to the movie. They sometimes leave out parts, screw up casting, and mess up AWESOME scenes.
