It was hot, and Espen was on a hunt: for an ice cream truck. His dad had just given him his allowance before heading into a nearby store. So while he was shopping, Espen was trying to find that truck he had only seen a few moments ago. He had told his dad that if he couldn't find it within the area around the store, that he'd hurry back. Since Shane went into the electronics store, Espen had looked up and down the block twice already, and there was no sight of ice cream anywhere.
Just as he was about to give up, he spotted a new one driving off down the main road. Espen waved down the truck and a young man of slightly-questionable character and moderately-questionable ethnicity, who figured this was as good a place as any to make a stop, waited for Espen to make a decision.
The problem was, Espen knew he wanted ice cream, but didn't really know what kind. To be honest, he wanted all of them, but there was only so much over-priced frozen sugar that ten bucks could buy. There were sno-cones, double swirls, banana splits, slushies, ice cream sammies and of course an arsenal of ice cream pops in all shapes and sizes.
Espen's eyes fell on one ice cream pop that was labeled "DEMON BLADE!" on the side of the truck. It looked like a sword with crimson lightning shooting out of it, and bats all over the place.
"Hey mister, whatzin the Demon Blade?" Espen asked
"Mey, eetza doark cherry," then seeing the disgusted look on Espen's face said "eh, eetza very popular, only got one left keed."
"A Demon Blade please!" Espen didn't much care for anything fruity, but dark cherry wasn't so bad, especially if it was the most popular thing on the truck.

Two wrath twins are not the ones to be taking to an Ice Cream truck, but desperate times calls for desperate measures. Bonie a pink haired county chick in her sixties wanted 'corn syrup and synthetic frozen cream' quoted by Temperance. She hunted that ice cream truck and when it finally stopped , she halted. "GOOD GOLLIE MISS MOLLY I WANT SOME ICE CREAM" she shouted coming out of the car. Her thin long legs popping out of the car.
Tempy and Veronica got out of the car , since they didn't like to wait. The girls saw all the gross items on car and made note of them.
The twins guardian was now waiting behind Espen. She thought he was rather cute , but the blade thingy looked funky. Tempy didn't even see him , all she saw was the fat man in the truck. She couldn't stop looking at him 'he is sooo out of shape' she thought to herself.
Veronica saw Espen , and she saw what he prized , she heard the conversation and now she had a plot to take from him what he wanted most. 'Cute girl CHARm ON now' she thought to herself as she batted her eyes.

"Two fiddy keed" the bulbous man said and Espen handed him his $10 and the man gave him back his change and a popsicle stick wrapped in plastic paper. After pulling it out of the wrapper, Espen was a little disappointed: it was kinda small in comparison to the twelve-inch drawing of it on the side of the truck. However, Espen gave it a lick and to his surprise it was very tasty. It didn't actually taste like real cherries, but like cherry-flavored sugar, which was always fine and even had a hint of chocolate to it. It wasn't completely frozen like a normal popsicle was either, but was instead much like smooth ice cream on a stick.
Without thanking the man (because serving ice cream was his job), Espen turned around to get closer to the store Shane went into, and almost bumped into the lady that had suddenly appeared behind him. As he moved around her, he also spied the two strange looking girls that were lurking around the ice cream truck. He wasn't sure why, but something about them gave him the shivers, and he wasn't sure if it was in a good or bad way. They reminded him of Spawns (which would explain the strange shiver), but there were two of them and the both looked almost exactly the same, which was strange because they also looked so different from "normal" people. Espen was suddenly thankful that there was only one of him as he averted his glance as he went to pass them by.

As the older women asked what she could buy how much and all that jazz the twins looked at the boy.
"That looks soo good , thats the one I wanted to get" said Veronica. She looked really sad. She was faking of course.
Blue eyes got wide " We" the mouth belonging to Tempy was covered by her sister.
Veronica blinked at the boy " I would really like to at least try it" she pouted her lip. She gave the male perfect eye contacted. She might not look like a normal Gaian but what is normal on Gaia. Veronica dressed well, she looked super cute(for a wrath child) , and wearing trendy clothes. She made sure to have something rainbow on. Plus being next to her sister , looked like a star.
Tempy had on a normal shirt , and baggy shorts filled with everyday needed items such as pen , paper , glue and a small first aid kit. You know the stuff you need but never have on you, that stuff. Tempy felt uncomfy and started to play with her perfect straight hair" That stuff , is made from bad things , you should know that , I wouldn't even eat it , and if you keep eating it , you will look like the man in the ice cream truck" she huffed. "I warned you" she nodded her head. Her tone had no sarcasm or joke in it. She was as serious as a heart attack.
Veronica looked at her disgusted , she did not want her plan ruined once more by her sister.

Espen passed the girls by a few feet to go lean on the window of the electronic store so that he could keep an eye on where his dad was, but heard the girls and glanced up at them when they spoke. He gave his popsicle a large lick when he heard the one girl's envious comment, perhaps it was a good selection after all. Espen shrugged, selection was the last one, and he was going to enjoy it and all of the attention that came with it. The other girls had just as much of a chance to get it as he did, but he was first and best. That was fair as fair could be.
"No, it's mine." Espen said, shaking his head and taking another couple licks. Besides, if the girl wanted a taste his ice cream so badly, she'd have to try much better than that. She was a stranger after all, and by the sounds of her sister, they didn't like ice cream that much anyways.
"What? Bad things? Nah, that guy's just fat," Espen giggled and pointed to the driver before going back to eating the Demon Sword "like normal fat people. Ice cream is just ice and cream: those aren't bad things. It's really good, too good to be bad! Sides, if it was bad, whysit cherry?"

Veroncia wanted to take a swack at that lame ice cream sword , she could see it in her mind. So why did she hold back , to many people around. She watched the young boy her age "You are sooo vary lucky, I think that fat man must of ate all the others" she giggled , trying to giggle the same time he did. "Your soooo coool" she added.
The other twin just watched , she was speachless at both of them. She turned around to see her gurdian watching her eating a huge ice cream cookie bar. "Yuck" she stated to all the ice cream eating.
Veronica wrinkled her head " DOn't mind her" she smiled with a wink. "My name is Veronica , she held out her hand" she gave off a warm smile. She been practicing it.

Espen laughed at the idea of the ice cream man eating all of the ice cream and laughed because it was probably true. Espen held out his human hand to shake Veronica's lightly.
"I'm Espen," he said and was happy that the girl was so naturally nice to him and he gave a bit of a grin at the fact that she thought he was cool, even though it was common knowledge. However, because she was fawning all over him already, his attention was still on the girl who wasn't.
"Hey!" he called "Have you ever had ice cream before? How do you know how bad it is if you've never tried it huh?" He demanded, using the same logic his dad gave him with vegitables, and gave Veronica a look to ask her to back him up. That must've been it because he knew that everyone who ate it loved it, and everyone who ate ice cream apparantly knew that this ice cream was the best.

Veronica giggled with the boy , he was a lot easier to get along with than most 'seven' kids she had met. "Yea RUDE Tempy , you have to try it to say anything bad about it" she spoke in sassy school girl tone. She moved in closer" Espen ..... wow thats such a cool name , like something in a cool story or comic" she gave him perfect eye contact.
This boy was messing with the wrong wrath child , her power was not in force but in knowledge " Since obesity is a huge problem with kids , and most kids eat ice cream , also your eating almost pure corn syrup , that can clog your main arteries over time , also make problems with your pancreas , also affects your urine , making it rough on the lining of your pe.." the twin was stopped by her sister.
"Reminder she is not to be listened too .... you don't want to talk the crazy sister do you" she had an almost evil tone but under the circumstance she sounded nice.

Espen grinned when Veronica complimented his name, he always thought it was a good one too. thought about all of what 'Tempy' had said for one instant before his tongue hit the ice cream again, then he completely forgot about what she had said. Ice cream was tasty, simple as that.
"So? It's still tasty, you forgot to say that." Espen said casually with a grin. "You should stop talkin' so much about it and jus have some." He hoped that last dig would keep Tempy thinking about him, but now he decided to turn to Veronica, who seemed to be much more interesting, and at least someone he could talk to without having her insult his eating habits.
"She's not that crazy, she just doesn't know anything 'bout ice cream's all." Espen defended, not wanting to judge someone he didn't know too harshly. and then an idea struck his mind "You must not have much at your house huh?...izat why you wanted this one?"

The long haired twin didn't like what she was hearing "I know, more about ice cream then you do , and NOOO I don't want to try some , I get all my HEALTHY energy from the sun " she looked him in the eyes with lots of sass. Tempy folded her arms and gave off an icy stare.
Veronica took advantage of this shining moment "We have alot at home , but nothing beats whats in your hand" she smiled with her left eye brow raised. She forgot what the icey treat was called already. She tried to think what trouble she could get him in, but she was going to have to take this as things came up.
It was up to Espen to make the next move.

"The sun?" Espen thought aloud as he looked up at the warm glowing orb in the sky, and then suddenly turned his back as far away from Tempy as possible and sidled up to Veronica "I think you're right, imma ignore anyone who thinks that they can eat the sun like a plant and not like a person."
He wasn't exactly sure why, but Espen decided that it might not be a bad idea to at least share what was left of his Demon Blade. Besides he didn't really like how it tasted anyways and the bragging rights he had while it was in his possession was seemingly starting to wear off. Still, he wasn't going to give all of it to her, so he snapped off the remaining tip of the sword-cicle in his mouth and downed it quickly.
There was a moment of sudden brain freeze as Espen stopped in his tracks and shuddered, then there was only a thick but decent sized stub of the base left, and sliding only slightly down the stick. He passed this bit off to Veronica as a show of good faith.

Temperince really didn't care what the boy thought and was sick of his addatude " Fine, hang out with my sister.... good luck" she said in a monotone voice. She walked back to Bonnie who was still eating her huge ice cream cookie bar and talking on a cellphone. Tempy rolled her eyes , the elder was having some silly convo with a friend about some new type of organic tea and the wonders it does on aging. So she opened her note slash sketch book and started to draw Espen , she took her time sketching him out to her liking. She had lots of noted on him already and couldn't wait to get started.
Veronica gave him a disgusted look when he was acting a fool over the brain freeze, luckily he couldn't of seen that. Once he handed over the popsicle she didn't know what to do , she wasn't going to eat it. So she quickly looked around "Hey look one of those guys painting high up on that building behind you" she stated. When she had the opportunity she quickly sped over to a trash can and dumped the ice cream and was back to her spot with Espen before anything could be really seen. "That was sooo yummy thanks .... best thing ever" she stated with a real fake loving voice. She moved in close " Sooo what you want to do now , I owe you one" she smiled with her evil eyes.
