Bankai: Hogo suru tame ni (To Protect) His single sword separates into seven different swords, two at each hip two on his back and one behind his waist. For each sword he draws he becomes stronger. Once all seven are drawn his power is increased tenfold from its original state. For this reason the two swords on his back inrease his strength by greater amounts. This allows him to compete fairly with the most fierce opponents.

Bio: Before his death Ugito was the son of a lord and lived much of his life in luxury. He learned kendo and tactics from a young age so that when his father died he would take over the estate. He also became a very good speaker in his youth.
When his father finally died war broke out between Mitsunari Ishida and Ieyasu Tokugawa. Siding with the side of Mitsunari Ishida he arrived at the battle of Sekigahara. As one of the lead units his entire force was quickly engulfed in battle... and after a fierce day of fighting Only one man returned... A fatally injured Ugito.
After his death he hung around the battle feild with his soldiers fighting for the rest of eternity, watching as one by one his allies became hollows and tried to kill them. little by little his men dwindled until it seemed they would all be consumed by their sorrow. Luck came one day when a soul reaper arrived to guide them to the next life.
He eventually made his way to the seretei along with his men. However they all fanned out throughout soul society. He on the other hand decided to join the academy and try to join the Gotei thirteen. After many months of hard training he finally made it into the eleventh squad,also known as the combat division. After years of rigorous training and combat he eventually made his way to Lieutenant. He now serves alongside the Kenpachi acting as her right hand fighting and working behind the scenes.
