So, she was on her own now, she thought with a sigh. Her sister had decided to join another pride, and had known that she wasnt ready for that yet..the dreams continued to haunt her sleep, visions she couldnt explain, didnt understand.
The now, lone lioness continued to pad forward. Not really watching where she was heading, her thoughts consuming all of her attention. She'd never been alone before, Berj had always been here, and now..she wasnt.
Chanda felt selfish now though, her sister had always been there for her, forgoing her own happiness for Chanda, and well she was doing something for herself, Chanda was happy for her, but sad for the loss of her as well.
Teal eyes looked to her paws for a moment, as she gathered herself...what was she to do now?

 Shakil was on his way back from something of a ... scouting mission over toward the demon pride. He was glad ... that no one had jumped out to attack him this time - as he really hated fighting. He knew that it was necessary, but ... still...
Sighing softly, he glanced up, and green eyes widened as he saw the form of a lioness in the distance - heading straight for the demon lands.
"Hey!" he called out, bounding toward her.

The sound of the voice caught her attention instantly, she stopped her movements instantly as the male came towards her.
Panic etched itself into her face as she looked around for a place to hide, she was quiet fearful of males, from what she can remember of her past, she knew that the pride that had killed her family, had been all male.
Males were dangerous...maybe, he was one of them!?

Oh crap, she looked like she was going to run! "No no, it's okay I won't hurt you!" he called, skidding to a stop. He'd better not get too close if she was that skittish.
He tried to make himself look less threatening, though it was hard with how very large he was. "I just wanted to warn you about something. Please don't run away..."

She swallowed hard, ears drew back as she lowered herself into a crotched position, her eyes never left him though.
"W-what?" she stammered as she curled her tail around her hind haunches, she would bolt in an instant if he gave any sign of danger, her heart pounded like thunder in her ears.

"You can leave if you want to ..." he soothed quietly, actually backing up a step or two - trying to reassure her.
"But just don't go ..." he gestured with a paw, "that way. There's a really nasty pride over there." He sighed softly, hating the fact that the demons lived so very close and not everyone knew to be wary of them.
"I'm on my way back to my own pride ... the other way. If you need somewhere to stay for a while, you could come with me."

The word demons, caused a chill to dance down her spine, she had almost walked right into the paws, she eyed the lion before her.
He'd saved her from a fate she didnt wish to think about.
She chewed her bottom lip, she must seem like such a pathetic cub to him, she could hear Berj now, telling her it was alright, to trust..
Could she trust him? Could she trust anyone?
She took a step towards him, "I think..I'll.." She glanced behind her, "come with you." She made quick steps to close the space between them, but she didnt grow to near him.

The large male smiled at that, though he tried not to puff his chest out too much - since she was obviously still nervous.
"All right. Don't worry ... if any of the demons are outside the lands right now, I can protect you." He wasn't boasting - he had learned well how to fight, growing up. Not that it was his favorite thing in the world to do, but well. It was his job.

She gave a faint laugh, "It's a tad hard not to worry. If they attack, Im stuck with strangers and fear..I doubt it'd go well." She said with a flick of her tail, eyes darting around.
She could handle a lion, Berj had made sure they had learned to protect themselves. So it wouldnt happen again..not again. She shook her head a bit. "No. Not again.." She whispered to herself.
"Can we move from here? I'd rather not get drawn into a fight. Really it isnt my thing." She said with a faint smile.
