A Story with Rose, Lissa, Adrian, and Dimitri made our own~ R These past few weeks have been hectic, with Lissa getting captured to Comrade having even more of a stick up his a**. Victor did something stupid again, and it was such an... awkward position. Not one the dhampir wanted to repeat soon, even though Comrade did have a nice chest. Rose sat in her room, this was a few days after our recent adventure thinking about the darkness Victor made Lissa have in her system. This whole year was kind of uncalled for, and it had turned into a rightful mess. Rose sighed into her pillow. She was tempted to go and eat something in the mess hall when she heard a knock on her bedroom door.
"Come in!" she called. It was probably Lissa, but she wasn't about to dive into her head to find out. Too much info, that and she might be with Christian. L Taking several deep breaths wasn't a way to prepare for talking to Rose, just a way to heal herself. The whole situation with Victor had left Lissa more than breathless. The suffocating effect the air user had on her was horrible. It literally felt like someone had shoved their hand down Lissa's throat and yanked the air right out of her lungs.
Lissa shook the thought from her head for it caused her to breath even more quickly, if that was possible. Lissa rapped on Rose's door solomnly. She had to confront her about the whole in-her-head thing. They had talked before about Rose being able to poke into Lissa, being able to read her thoughts and emotions, fears and loves. With any other person, that would seem too invasive and... wrong. With Rose, considering the fact that they had known each other all their lives, it wasn't AS bad. Plus, it wasn't like she could actually tell when Rose was in her head.
Without thinking, Lissa had leaned up on Rose's door, with all of her weight, out of exhaustion. Now, it opened and Lissa fell atop Rose.
A "What?! Are you serious? Why weren't these the first words to come out of your mouth?!" Adrian practically screamed at Cale. After breaking out of the Court Gaurdian's jail cell, he had, for some reason, come to Adrian's home seeking a place to stay for a while. At first, Adrian had told him to ******** off and stay the hell away from him.
Then Cale had mentioned Vasilisa. The Dragomir princess and her healing abilities.
After a little forcing and threatening, Adrian had forced every bit of information about the abduction of the Dragomir girl and Victor's insane plan. Finally, he had just finished telling him of Vasilisa.
"I-I don't know, I didn't know you'd be interested." Cale shrunk away a little, and in the next five minutes, Adrian had phoned Court and about fifty million guardians had swarmed his house.
"Adrian, how could you?!" Cale yelled just before a gaurdian tripped him, making an Oof! sound.
"Easy." Adrian muttered and turned to his desk, locating his passport and other things he might need in Montana.
Six hours later, he landed in Springfield, Montana.
After calling the school about three times for directions, Adrian finally made it to St. Vladimir's. He approached the gate, looking for some sort of bell or electronic buzzer. He wasn't sure, but her didn't think he could push this huge wrought iron gate open if he tried. Maybe if he made his gaurdians do it, but that would be a little mean, dontcha think?
Just then, a shadowed figure emerged from the front door and approached him. Adrian didn't think ha had ever seen a more sexy-shaped figure. From what Adrian could see, he was incredibly tall with broad shoulders and long legs. For now that's all he could make out. As he got closer, Adrian didn't waste time with introductions.
"My name is Adrian Ivashkov, and I've come to speak with Vasilisa Dragomir and Rosemarie Hathaway." He stated formally, hoping no more questions would be asked.
D Dimitri was almost in his right mind to go and bash Victor's face in a little more than he got at the raid, it was a terrible mistake on his part that Roza and the Princess had both been in danger. He wouldn't let that happen again, not if he were to be the Princess' guardian in the future and it wouldn't look good on his record, he couldn't afford less than perfect.
According to a messanger that came almost an hour ago, he was supposed to pick up another moroi at the front gate, though he had no idea what this moroi from Court wanted. He figured it was something important, that was for sure, they travelled any way they wanted to. Dimitri thought kind of selfish, but that was the way, 'they came first' as the guardian way always said.
Dimitri was still in his work out clothes from this morning so a quick shower fixed up his appearance considerably. He ran fingers through his hair since he knew he couldn't get controlled to lay flat like he wanted, it was just not going to happen any time soon.
"I guess this would now be the time to go pick up that Moroi." he muttered to himself. While pulling the last few buttons through the holes on his red shirt, Dimitri grabbed his cell phone off this night table and slipped it into the pocket of his slacks. He stalked down the halls said afternoon to the guardians that were on duty today. He felt sort of sorry for them, paperwork was always hectic.
Dimitri blocked the sun with his spare hand, while the other was always facing down in a relaxed pose to be ready for anything. What he wasn't perpared for was a handsome, and he definately wouldn't call him beautiful or anything like that. Dimitri considered it rude and an insult to this mysterious moroi.
This moroi quickly introduced himself as Adrian Ivashkov, Adrian, it definatly fit his persona. Another thing he didn't expect was that this moroi would want to speak to the Princess and Rose about something, something to come all the way from Court especially. Dimitri's supposed that he would hear about it later from the girls. Dimitri bowed slightly to the royal, "Mr. Ivashkov, it's a pleasure. I am Guardian Belikov. I-I'll take you to the Princess and Rosemarie right away." Dimitri wondered if this was the start of more trouble than he bargained for.
R The moment the door opened, Lissa came falling through, literally. Her best friend had wound up on top of her, another slightly awkward postition, but then again they slept together all the time so it shouldn't have been. It was, maybe the fact that Lissa was in between her legs that made it a little wierd, but Rose found that she liked this quite a bit.
Rose still had her head on the floor where it hit when Lissa came through, Lissa was like lead on her stomach but she wasn't complaining.
"Lissa, what are you doing here? You okay?" What could Lissa want at this time of the day, Rose hoped that it just was something dreadfully serious or dangerous for that matter. Rose lifted her head up off the ground and looked at her moroi friend that lay on top of her, she looked exhausted from here.
"Lissa, we should really move towards the bed. You look like you seriously need rest." It was a little late right now, well for St. Vlad's it was, almost 4 a.m. That was bed time for the little one's of the school, and almost sunrise for the older one's.
L "Heh heh, yeah, I guess." Lissa said with a slur. She wasn't drunk or anything (God forbid). Stupidly, she got up too fast and was slammed with a wave of nauseating dizziness. Her eyelids slid over her pupils, blurring her vision, and she leaned into Rose for support. Rose instantly leveled their weight and caught her. I love this feeling, Lissa thought, being able to depend on her without a second thought. Making sure Rose didn't see, Lissa smiled to her self at the thought.
Lissa had never liked the Gaurdians' motto: They come first. It sort of implied that the Moroi were helpless without their Gaurdians. Which was sort of true in her and Rose's case. She wouldn't know what the hell she would do without Rose. She would be at a complete loss of what to do with her day, her thoughts, her life.
Lissa mentally shook her head, breaking out of her reverie and snapping her back to reality.
"I really need to talk to you, Rose. It's not of the utmost importance, but it's important to me." Lissa waited for Rose to reply. She wanted to talk about this when Rose was ready, the last thing she wanted was to force her.
A As the tall Gaurdian approached, Adrian could make out more of his facial features and he realized that he was one of the most good-looking men Adrian had ever met.
Most Moroi weren't aware of this, but Court frowned upon gays. Something stupid about one of the ancient Kings being a homosexual traitor. Adrian didn't have any idea how Court had come up with the 'homosexual' part. He wasn't even sure it was true. Anyway, if you were related to the King or Queen, it didn't really 'apply' to you.
Nevertheless, he hadn't actually told anyone: Adrian was bisexual.
As the dhampir unlocked the gate in seven different places and opened it for him, Adrian examined his eyes. They were constantly shifting from blue to green, a quiet sparkle to them. They looked sort os solemn and reserved, like your would have to get really close to him to make him tell you anything about his personal life. Next to finding out his first name, Adrian made it his secret mission to get that close to him.
Adrian motioned to his Gaurdian's to retreive one suitcase each, and he grabbed one himself. Funny, only Tatiana knew he was bi. Long story made short.
Adrian was going on a trip to Italy for no apparent reason, and he had packed about five large suitcases. Tatiana went to see him off at the airport, saw his luggage, and said "You'd think you were either a chick or gay with how much crap you take with you on trips." Adrian had thought that was hilarious. Of course he he couldn't lie to his auntie about something like that, so he told her. She took it okay, surprising Adrian. That was his best memory from that trip.
Snapping back to reality, Adrian realized that he was rushing up stairs behind Gaurdian Belikov.
Boy, did he like the view.
R What could this topic be so important about that Lissa was so distressed about? She seemed even a little over whelmed you could say. It was important to Lissa, that Rose could tell even if she wasn't going to point it out. Rose had caught Lissa when she was about to go down, and held her slightly agianst her own chest. Leading the moroi over to the bed, she ordered Lissa to lay down on it or at the most sit down so she wouldn't get dizzy again.
"Now, tell me what you want to say. I can't help you or return...words if you can't tell me what bugging you. Trust me, tell me..." Rose's hands were on Lissa's shoulders trying to get a silent message accross. Even though the bond didn't work both ways, Rose swore that Lissa always knew what she was thinking even if she tried her best to hide it.
She got down on her knees in front of Lissa, right between her legs so her best friend was trapped. Lissa would be forced to tell her what was wrong now that she didn't have a chance in hell of getting away.
D Dimitri didn't know what this moroi, now named Adrian, wanted with his girls, but he didn't suppose it would be that bad. It was just a simple moroi, a nice looking one at that, but nothing could be as serious if there was an army of dhampir's after them or something. What Dimitri knew of Rose's luck though, it could happen and it most likely would.
Dimitri watched as two guardians grabbed the moroi's luggage and surprisingly enough, Adrian had grabbed one himself. It wasn't his job to carry baggage so he didn't offer, but he had already started to lead all three of them of the boy's moroi dorm. He was going to lead them there before going all the way to Rose's dorm where he knew both of them to be. They were always together, so he was sure they were in Rose's room. While walking up the stairs and to the dorm, he felt Adrians eyes on his back and what he thought as somewhere else too, but very unlikely. Oh well, it didn't bother him all that much.
"You can drop off your things here, and then we'll move on to Ro-Miss Hathaway's dorm, they would both be in there." Dimitri watched Adrian move into his new room, well at least for the time being.
L Lissa sat down on Rose's bed and a refreshing feeling of familiarity washed over her, calming her immensly.
Then Rose moved in between Lissa's legs, trapping her. And, what's worse, making the calm sense switch into something more intense. It showed on her face, too, making her blush insanely. Was it a normal thing to have a crush on your best friend? Was it a phase?
Or was it because she knew her best friend better than anyone else?
This realization hit her like a ton of bricks, almost making her topple off the bed and falling into Rose again. She caught herself just in time. Then she remembered what she had to talk to Rose about.
"I know you would never use it against me, that you would never tell a soul, hell, you probably wouldn't even talk to me about it, but I actually want you too." Seeing the blank look that was forming on Rose's gorgeous face, Lissa decided to clarify.
"I'm talking about the whole popping-in-and-out-of-my-head thing. If you see, or hear, or however you sense my thoughts, about you or my crush's or whatever, please tell me, since I'm too much of a coward to just tell you." Lissa sort of whisper-murmered the last eleven words, hoping Rose wouldn't hear, even though she most likely did.
R "Wah??" It was an incredible face that Rose had on, one that you might want to take a snapshot of because it was a once in a life time chance to see. What Rose didn't understand was why Lissa had the urge to tell her this. It wasn't as if her crush's were so dangerous that couldn't be out in the open or something, could it? And if Lissa had a crush, why couldn't she just come right out and say it?
"Who do you have a crush on? You know that you can tell me anything, you know." Rose tried to drag at least a little information from her best friend. Rose knew that she would be diving into Lissa's head a little more than she ever needed to but this was best friend crisis, important things needed to be taken by drastic measures. Just in case. Rose would find out more about this 'crush'.
A Adrian hastily threw his suitcases on the dorm bed. His Guardians efficiantly kept up, following suit. In the next minute, they were on stairs again, going towards the girls dormitory. On the way, Adrian distracted himself by thinking of how to approach Guardian Belikov. He wondered what he would think if a royal Moroi where to ask him about his personal life. Or, not so much his personal life, but more like small talk. Moroi never really engaged in long-lasting small talk with dhampirs. They conversed momentarily to exchange immediate information, but nothing more.
Adrian slipped out of his thoughts as they reached the room. Belikov rapped lightly and stood back patiently. Adrian decided he liked to watch him just... stand. He stood comfortable but still on alert. With his hands halfway in his pockets and his head up. His legs were spread shoulder length, knees not locked. It fascinated him to notice things like this. He wondered what he looked like when thinking intensly.
D He knocked, and it took a while for Rose to answer the door. Oh, look Lissa was there too, what a surprise. He knew that they would be together. "Uh, Rose? Princess? There is some one here that came all they way from Court to speak with you. " He didn't know how to really tell them that a Moroi was here. Actually, Dimitri didn't even know what they wanted to talk about, or even a tiny reason why Adrian was here. Maybe it was because of the Victor incident. He was still fuming about that.
"Girls, this is Adrian Ivashkov." He suspected that Lissa knew him from Court but he wasn't sure.
L Lissa blushed so much it hurt when Rose asked her who Lissa had a crush on. She wouldn't be able to avoid the question, much less lie to her. Besides, Rose would probably dive into her head later and find out for herself.
She would have to tell her straight up.
Lissa cringed at the thought. She could tell Rose anything, except this. She could tell her about a crush on an old man (if she had one), or if she murdered someone, or even something ridiculous like that she was a werewolf or vampire. [OOC: Inside joke]
Lissa realized that Rose was looking at her expecantly for an answer, and flipped back to reality.
"Okay, Rose. I can't avoid the question or lie. Not with you. The truth is, your my--" Lissa was cut off by a knock at the door. She breathed a sigh of releif, realized that the conversation had been momentarily postponed.
R 'Ooh~ Who ever is at my door is so going to get it.' Rose thought as a steam roller went off in her head, she was pissed and turned her rath at the figures lined in the doorway. She was never going to get Lissa in this awkward position again, not determined enough to tell a crush! Her head whipped around in fury, but she couldn't help the look of surprise as Dimitri stood in her doorway, well Dimitri and some othe mysterious figure's.
Adrian Ivashkov. A royal. One of Queen b***h's relative's. Rose wondered if this Adrian was as stuck up as the queen herself.
"What do you people want? You better not be looking to harass Lissa anymore. She's had enough of you guys!" These moroi were probably looking to either poke fun or get under skin about something she's told people a million times already, but then again Comrade brought them here. They couldn't be all bad otherwise Dimitri wouldn't have even let them step foot in the girl's dormitory.
"Fine, come in, don't just stand there." Rose gave in.
A The girl that answered the door was obviously not Vasilisa. She was the exact opposite what Moroi look like. Moroi were thin and pale, with soft features, Dhampirs were curvy and muscley with hair with body and thick lips and big eyes. Everything about their bodies was full and inviting. Which made the career as a blood whore all the more easy for them. Not that Adrian--nevermind. You get it. Behind Rose, Adrian recognized Vasilisa, because the Princess had been to Court before, visiting the Queen. As Rose looked royally pissed, Vasilisa looked extremely embarassed about something or other.
As soon as Rose let them pass, Adrian went straight to the Princess, ignoring how Rose cringed slightly. Dhampirs.
"Princess Dragomir, the reason I've traveled here today is of the utmost importance." Adrian turned to tall, dark and sexy, saying, "Please close the door, Gaurdian. I think this matter should stay between us four for the moment."
After the door was shut and Belikov had moved to stand next to Vasilissa and Adrian, Adrian continued.
"Miss Dragomir, have you specialized yet?"
