It was time for a tour of the mortal world again. Icarus barely knew where they were, though, paying attention just enough to appease his mother. The young godling was glad to break away for a bit of wandering, though he couldn't go far. Granted, he could always just teleport back, but if his mother should happen to find out he'd gone off on his own... well, he'd rather not risk that just yet.
Still, he WAS the god of indulgence. Even though she insisted on obedience at least Bathsheba understood that her children were going to be prone to follow their domains if nothing else.
So in short, Icarus didn't feel TOO bad about lazing about on his back in a field of lush grass, stretching out his legs. He DIDN'T wander too far off, so his conscience was further eased, and a good thing too because being the brother of the god of that domain meant not being able to get away from having a heavy one.
"Man... I wish something interesting would happen already." He sighed, scratching at his chest with one paw idly as he stared into the sky.

It wasn't often that Latifu separated from her twin. But something today just told her to slip away while her father was visiting. His visits seemed to happen more and more frequently these days, but Latifu was kept out of the loop as to why. She could only guess why he had made a sudden reappearance in their lives, but she just chose not to think about it too much. All that really mattered to her was that she had a father around.
Gleaming eyes bouncing with her paws, Latifu wondered what exactly she was doing out here. She knew her mother would have a heart-attack if she knew she was out here, especially after what happened to Lati's other sister. But she couldn't be concerned with the dangers of the world, not when there seemed to be so many gods roaming around. Ever since her first meeting, she was hooked. Her mother's fears would just have to wait.
"Hm?" In a small, soft voice, Lati's eyes lit up. Hopping through the grass, she had caught sight of something odd. And to Latifu, that only meant good things. Bounding towards it, her eyes traced it's dark body, right down to the pale feathers that lingered behind it.
This was what she was looking for.

He hadn't ruled out the possibility of being stumbled upon by a mortal, but he hadn't really given it any thought either. When the female arrived in the general area he detected her first, lazily shutting his eyes for a moment as his nose told him more. A girl, he thought. How big, what were her intentions? He didn't detect any particular menace about, so....
Curiously he opened his eyes and turned his head until he spotted the young female, taking her in with about as much curiosity as she seemed to be with him.
"Hi. Who are you?"

Taking in a breath of air, Latifu tried to conceal her excitement. "I'm Latifu." Gently tilting her head to the side so her long hair didn't completely cover her face, Lati smiled at him. He didn't seem bad at all.
"But..." Staring at her toes, she pinched her mouth in a small smile. "...who are you?" Glancing up, she tried not to stare, but she couldn't really help it. There was always just something so captivating about these creatures, even though they were so similar to everyone else in appearance. Except for, you know, the wings. Lati had been told how different she was, with her long hair in shaggier tail, but this....this was something much better.

"Latifu, huh?" He grinned, rolling onto his stomach, pushing up from his paws to stand on eye level with her. He may be a child still, and granted he didn't particularly NOTICE girls (or boys) yet, but he was already showing signs of adopting some of his father's mannerisms. His tail feathers ruffled gently with pride as he thought he noticed her staring, and with a cubbish purr he answered her introduction with one of his own. "I'm the god of Indulgence. My name is Icarus..."
Curiosity was clear in his gaze, tilting his head a bit to the left.
"You have a pretty name,"
And he'd also noticed her extra fur, admiring a bit. From his own family he knew that not all gods had wings, so he had to wonder...
"Are you a goddess, Latifu? I've never seen a mortal with such long fur before." He admired, particularly her braid. The fact that his entire family had such varying, wild fur styles and his seemed so... tame... well, there was his tail, different from the others, but sometimes that, along with his dark coat, made him feel like an odd duck. He didn't mind it, but he couldn't help but notice.

Oh, he made her skin tingle. "You really think so?" Smiling shyly, she adored his compliment. No one had ever complimented her name, and it made her feel special. For a moment, at least.
"A goddess?" Looking up, Lati's eyes were wide for a moment as she daydreamed. A goddess? She wished. But his comment was rather flattering. At least, she thought it was. "I dream, sometimes." Scuffling her paw in the dirt, she looked away, a little smile on her face. "But I'm not." Looking back at him, she bit her bottom lip. He really was nice.
"So the God of Indulgence, hm?" Grinning, she tried to imagine his domain. "Does that mean you can make wishes come true?" It was foolish, to say the least, to think that he could make every wish come true, but it sounded nice.
