I have been trying for days to trade pokemon on the gts on soul silver. I have left what i have been offering up for trade for days and not had any takers. any advice on this. its really starting to annoy me.

1. Trade starters (preferably Johto Starters). I'm not too sure if this works anymore since the release of HeartGold/SoulSilver but back in the days where it was just Diamond and Pearl, you could pretty much get anything you wanted with the Johto Starters, preferably Totodile and Cyndaquil.
2. Avoid the GTS all together. As harsh as that might sound, it's usually for the best as you tend to get nothing but hacked Pokemon back from it. Every blue moon you'll recieve a legitimate Pokemon but seeing how the majority of what you get isn't (and especially if you dont know how to tell the difference) then it's best to not take the chance of being branded with the name of "cheater/hacker" by some of the more over-zealous Pokelovers out there over an unfortunate trade.

that makes since. I have put up a cyndaquil and it never got anywhere. as far as the getting hacked pokemon goes , everytime I trade a pokemon i take it to the daycare man and get a egg then release the one i got in a trade. i don't like traded pokemon cause i like having my name as the ot. unfortunatly i don't know anyone besides myself personally that has a ds or plays pokemon. so i don't have a big pool of ppl to trade with.

I have some spare turtwig and chimchars and i could breed you anything starter like other than piplup (as of yet) 3nodding And as for the hacked pokemon thing goes, Ky i only got a hacked pokemon twice >.< the other times they are legit. I got a shiny Zapdos with a semi decent nature recently. It's profile looks legit to me and the moveset is pretty much default since it was only lvl 50 and it wasnt worked on.

Well i look at the pokemon that i got from GTS by acting like I'm gonna put one up for offer. I check summary and i check the Original Trainer, the lvl that it was caught at (i believe my Electivire is hacked since it was caught at 56 or somethin) and i look at ribbons, moveset, and stats. If i see anything out of the ordinary like a crazy high stat or the lvl or place it was caught at then i put it back up for trade or just keep it for breeding. I generally dont trade for pokemon I already have >.<
