Amaterastu trotted along through the forest, having left the small group. She was only leaving temporaily, of course. Sticking around them would probably eventually give her an opportunity to strike at the Darkness. But for now, she had a bad feeling about going around alone.
Of course, that was why she was doing just that.
She just couldn't leave it alone. Issun, if he were here, would call it 'Leaping before you look'. Ammy couldn't help but grin at the thought, but that grin soon faded and she brought her thoughts back to the main task: finding what made her feel so uneasy.

 "CRACK"
Bones. He was almost done cleaning off the deer he had seized in the dead of night. Blood coated his muzzle and paws, leaving his claws a bright shade of red that matched his pelt. Eroszak loved the taste of fresh meat; warm and helpless like an infant. Sometimes he only paralyzed them, leaving them to squirm until they eventually bleed out.
Smell. He strung up from his comfy hollow in the ground. That wasn't his. Only his smell laid among these trees and that was not his smell. Someone was there. No one was meant to be there. Kicking the leaves and vining plants up, he haphazardly covered his kill. It don't look covered at all, but he was going to distract from it anyway.

Ammy heard a cracking sound from up ahead. She was close, very close. Too late to turn back now. Of course it was too late to turn back. For her, it had been too late the instant she knew something was out there. She could never leave these things alone, and this was no exception.
"Who's there?" she calmly called, not wanting to let who- or what- was out there think she didn't know they were there. She wanted it to come to her. Ammy never attacked first. She always wanted to make sure that fighting was the only way-and the right way- to settle things.

Here. It's here. This is mine, mine. Calloused paw pads stepped quietly over the muddy ground. They can't be here. No, no. Eroszak appeared from the shadows, stalking closer to the white blur ahead of him. His lips twitched upward at the sight of the other wolf. Teeth bared at her, he growled deeply. "This is minnnne... Get out..."

Amaterastu wheeled to face whatever had growled at her. A red... She thought it was a wolf... With a skull mask and bones laid over his body stood before her. His glowing red eyes unnerved her a little, but they were almost to be expected in such a denomic wolf. Oh yes, she thought, if he isn't a demon of some sort I don't know what is!
Her hackles raised and she bared her teeth; the gentle warmth of Divine Retribution reminding her that she came here to drive away any darkness threating the small group that had recovered from the true Darkness. "You know what? Maybe I don't feel like leaving." she said, knowing that she was taking a risk by letting a bit of her temper show and not really caring. These forests needed to be cleared of evils so the new pack could focus on the real problem: the Darkness.

One more step toward the blindingly white wolf; one more hair standing on end. He did not like this. Not at all, no. She is here for no reason, no reason. Leave, she needs to leave. "Get. Out." Darkness didn't matter to him in the least. It wasn't his pack getting themselves killed, he had no reason to go out of his way for anyone else. "No reason to be in the dark," spitting his words out, what he meant came across without the proper words.

"I already said that I won't leave; I've already found my resolve. I came to see who you are and if you'll interfere with the new pack. It's my duty to protect them." Amaterasu told the demon wolf. She had every reason to be in the dark; it was her very purpose to fight it with every fiber of her being.
"Will you fight or will you leave the pack in peace?" she asked, more musing with herself than asking the demonic wolf. Ammy had the feeling she already knew, but she always asked her opponents. There was no need to fight if they didn't harm anyone.

"I care none about you. You are quick to assume and I do not like being accused of things." Stupid reasons, stupid, stupid reasons. Dumb wolf. He had to focus to make 'proper' sentences. Minds don't work like his. It worked simply in his head, putting only the needed words together to make his point. Eroszak had no patience for useless banter. There was no need for him to answer her question, for he didn't care about any of the things she said enough to let them reach his brain.

"I have not made any assumptions, nor have I accused you!" Okay, he was a bit stupid and rash. The reason she was asking him was to see if she was right or wrong. Can we just get this over with? If he's going to attack, why is he going through all this trouble to get me to leave? She really wanted to attack him at this point, but he hadn't done anything wrong that she knew of.
"And tell me; why do you think that I think that you care? If you really don't care, then you'll leave the pack be."

"I have no need to talk to the likes of you. You jump to conclusions and annoy me. I'll say it one last time. Leave or I will be forced to make you." The likes of her annoyed him. Most wolves annoyed him, what with their useless banter and stupidity. This one, however, set his fur on edge far more than any of the others. Coming into HIS territory, accusing HIM of doing whatever she thought he was doing. He was getting fed up, very fed up.

Amaterastu growled, frustrated and annoyed. This wolf was obviously not used to being asked simple questions. How was she going to get it through his head that she wasn't accusing him of anything! She was ASKING HIM, dang it! Ammy waas tempted to sit down to prove she wouldn't leave until he answered her, but that would put her in a bad position if she was attacked.
She could feel her reflector spinning slow and hot- but not enough to burn her- on her back; wanting to know what the demon-wolf before her thought of it. I wonder if it will give me it's usual advantages in battle... Or is this wolf immune to it's heat...? It was a good question, as his eyes literally glowed with inner fire.

He lunged for her with not warning. "GET OUT. THIS IS MINE." Stupid, very very stupid. Will regret this. Needs to be taught proper manners. Has none. His claws flew at her face, out and ready to make contact with eyes, face, ears, whatever they were met with. Eroszak didn't know the meaning of 'holding back'. If you're going to start something, start it. Don't p***y foot around it.
