Odi laid quietly under a tree by himself in the heat of the day. A few apple cores laid out beside him bit down to the core and a few fish bones. He rolled over and stretched letting out a huge yawn as he rested silently. His mood was good, he hadn't been bothered by any tribe issues today. He woke up not feeling his bloodlust. And best of all no annoying morons to bug him. As he looked up toward the leaves in the tree he watched as a bird landed on it and started chirping. He eyed it for a moment before sending it a mental attack that scent it flying away dazed and confused. "Peace and quiet. This day can't get any better." He said to himself as he rested in his spot.

Ara hummed pleasantly to herself. Not for any good reason, as others would see it. She'd been wandering aimlessly for most of the day, and had yet to find something to eat. She just shrugged it off as being in a new part of the forest and that things were bound to get better.
But goodness it was quiet here! The sun was still bright in the sky, so there should have been at least birds out and about. It wasn't her, was it? She hoped not, it was lonely being the only one with a song!
"Such a nice place, otherwise," she mused aloud. Now if only she could find some food. There was a sweet scent in the air, like fruit, but she didn't see any. She was also quite sure that was the scent of a male modi, but she didn't see him either. How strange!

Odi rolled back onto his side as he started to hear humming. For a moment he though it was just another bird, that sounded much better then last.
He hadn't been noticed yet so he kept into his spot watching her. A quick look at her stance he knew she wasn't a threat to the tribe so he let her go some. Finally he saw the direction she was walking and wondered if he should stop her, that was toward Curor. Finally he sighed, no one was around so he wouldn't get in trouble with Sin.
"Hey you, the red female. I wouldn't go that way, that's going toward Curor. They'll kill you for trespassing." He called out to her casually.

Ara started at the sound of a voice. From a tree? She looked up and around. There! A yellow, black, and white male! How'd he even get up there? Ara wasn't very good at climbing. Agility was more her thing. "Kill me? Isn't that a little harsh? They won't get too many members if they keep killing off potential joiners."
She plopped down and craned her neck to get a better look at the male. "So are you part of the tribe then, or do you just live around here."

((Hes not in a tree lol. But it's all good))
Odi looked down at her lazily as he watched her then jumped down the tree to the ground silently. "Harsh to you; unnecessary to me, simple to Sin." He said sitting down in front of her. "We mainly go out and find members ourselves. As the shadow beast commands." He said looking at one of his apple cores.
He watched her silently for a moment, she seemed...social. "Yeah, I'm the tribe magician." He said looking at his old Kana tattoo for a moment then back at her. "Are you looking to join?" He asked keeping a emotionless face.

((0.0 Oops. I read "under" as "in", probably XD ))
Shadow beasts and sin? Ara's tail swished a little behind her. "Hmmm, I probably wouldn't be much good at it. I can't kill people just because they happen to show up! I doubt there's any positions in your tribe for someone like me."
Ara noticed the male look down at his front leg, at what seemed to be a tattoo. It was an interesting tattoo, not one she'd ever seen before. "Tribe tattoo," she asked, flicking her head in it's direction.

((Lol, It's fine))
He laughed at what she said. It was funny how people always thought it was so bad to kill. Once you done it a few times it's second nature. "Well I don't kill them just for that. If it's not a legitimate reason then I give them the chance to run. My leader Sin though...hope your faster then him." He said looking at the tattoo with a frown.
"Yeah. It's Kana or used to be. I left it. Hope their all dead...expect for my mom. I made sure she left before I did." He said shrugging at the last part. He had a giant soft spot for his mother.

Ara smiled. "I'd take you up on that challenge, I'm pretty fast! Never lost a game of chase!" The way he was talking, Sin must be a name. This male didn't seem too bad. Not if you were on his good side, anyway.
"I've never heard of Kana, but that's not saying much. I don't come across tribes all that often, if ever." She didn't ask him why he had such a disliking for the tribe. Ara was sure he had reasons. "What's your name? I'm Aracelis, but you can call me Ara."

"Oh thats not a game you want to play. If he catches you, you wont be pretty that much longer." He said giving her a small smile.
"Good, hopefully their all dead somewhere." he said his eyes looking at the ground for a moment hardening then they softened back up. "Pretty name, Ara. My names Odi. Wish it was more to it but my mom likes plain and simple." He said looking her over once more. "You don't belong to a tribe?"

The tip of Ara's tail twitched. She wasn't too worried about chasing games. Even if they were faster she was quite nimble. She smiled at the name compliment. "Thank you! Odi is a nice name too. Careful with wishes, they can backfire. If you had a longer name it might be one you really wouldn't like!"
Her green eyes searched his yellow ones, trying to find the motive behind the question. "No, never belonged to a tribe. I just wander around as the mood hits." She tilted her head, curious. "Is your mother in the same tribe as you?"

Odi watched her then smiled as she made the joke. She didn't seem to bad to be around. At least from what he could tell. She defiantly wasn't an immediate danger to him. "Well in that case I'll wish for a median name." He laughed.
As she looked into his eyes he started to feel uncomfortable. No one looked at him that way unless trying to see through a lie. "I see, I was like till I meet Sin." Said as he watch her tilt her head. "No, she's with some tribe out in the desert. Peace lovers, I'm happy she's their." Odi said stretching before standing up. "Some kind of teacher, first time I find out one of her students have a crush I'm paying them a visit." He said smiling a little as he stood up stretching.

"Playing big brother to your mom," Ara asked. She didn't laugh aloud, but you could see it glittering in her eyes. She was flicking the tip of her tail, thinking. It was so rare for her to meet others on her trips. She wasn't quite sure what to do next. Talk more, let Odi talk, or say goodbye and go their own ways?
She tried another question, since she actually was curious about the answer and what Odi had to say. She liked getting other's perspectives. "So what's the Cruor tribe like? There must be some draw besides killing strangers, since you're a part of the tribe and have yet to kill me." The corner of her lip twitched up into a half smile, just a little amused.

"Yeah, my uncle helped us out so much I don't want to bother him." He said smiling. He looked at her eyes, she seemed to be enjoying herself.
"Cruor is actually a tight family. We take care of our own, I'll die for a packmate. Were especially protective of our kits. Were really just one dysfunctional family." His face showed a compassion that was almost as close as he talks to his mom. "The other memebers have some type of issues. Just a bunch of misfits no body wants. We been called broken before and I'm kind of proud of it."

Ara's head tilted ever so slightly. "There is every right to be proud in who you are." The smallest of smiles played around her face. "It's my opinion that the broken aren't really broken. They just see the darker side of life and accept it, rather than those who choose to keep their eyes closed."

((I know what you mean lol.))
Odi blinked as he heard her response, it was so deep. He didn't think she would say something like that. "Maybe." He said as he watched a small smile cross her face. He was really starting to wonder if he was just wasting her time. "That sounds like a lot of my tribe..." He stared at he for a moment before looking away.
"I must be wasting your time." He said steeping away, for some odd reason she made him feel uncomfortable. It wasn't his bloodlust. He looked back at her feeling embarrassed.
