Kya paced back and forth near the edge of her pack's lands. It had been three days since the darling colored wild dog had been in her home lands, and that particular dog had not left her mind since. The sun was getting low in the sky and Kya found herself anciously waiting for her mate, the one she was meant for to arrrive. She wasn't sure what she would say to this other creature, but she knew that they would be coming .... soon.
Kya had told no one of the meeting with the other wild dog, not even Lorcan which was a little strange for her, she told Lorcan everything. The purple wild dog settled herself beneath a tree and looked into the horizin waiting and hoping
Just before day broke to night. She was on the move- it was only because the game had moved a different direction when she was out on her own adventures. See, no one could tie this puppy down. More like an indian moving and living off the lands.. She had followed the smaller impalas here. Trotting about as she was a hunter. The best off her siblings so far of course. Looking about as her ears went up to hunt and stalk. It was better traveling at day then at night for her white coat wouldn'tr let her blend with anything of what the surroundings gave her.. She padded about.. smelling and taking in scents.. and found herself in 'pack' territory. Unlike Silvertongues pack. This one smelt of odd things.. and then she heard something. Quickly she dropped to the ground and in stalking mode. Quickly crawling agaisnt the floor.. she smelt and heard rustling so she knew someone was near. They couldn't catch her.. but she was curious as a cheshire as she linked from tree to tree. Until she saw it. Another wilddog. She hadn't seen another one except for her brown little pup that she adopted.. but now with SUbira. Her ears went back as she found a way around the dog. Closing in... she was good at being a ninja after all.
Kya heard the rustling of the grass and thought at first that it must just be the wind, but as it continued she realized it must be someone moving though the grasses. tKya perked up could this be her viistor her friend, the one that the strange black dog was going to send to her she paced a little impatioent wimpering ever so slightly.
"Hello?" she called out her voice a lot quieter then it normaly was.
Ears propped up as soon as the echoing of being known was there. Up and fat as she leaned forward.. then leaned her head to the side... "????" Blinking as she found it was a female and that it looked similar to her dancing best friend. A smile grew upon her maw.. but then she thought. 'Stranger' .. thinking about it before she slowly crawled closer and lifted her white body up.. looking about. It was a pack. Ears slanted back as she watched.. what would she do if she encountered an imamu on the hunt? Then she barked.. just to be known she was here. Flicking her tail.
Kya now saw the white wild dog and right away her heart fluttered this must be the one that was sent to her, she could feel it in her stomach suddently it was filled with nervous butterfly's the wild dog began to pace more quickly nervous and excited all at once. "Hi there my name is Kya" she was careful not to say the last part of her given name, for she didn't want anything bad to happen to her or her new friend.
"It is very nice to meet you" she said still talking very softly. She kept her body low to the ground as she watched the other wild dog. She hoped that she would perk up soon be friendly want to talk with her more
Ears filtered from one side to the next. Then a smirk as she trotted a little closer. Softly chuckling. "Harrooo~~" Wagging her tail as she side stepped and looked as though she was going around her. "Meet? We haven't met before~" Chirping. "Have you seen an antaleope coming this way~ from the west? " Her tail flapping softly as she looked then to the west then their surroundings. Realizing she forgot her introducting words. "I don't mean to pass nor hunt through your pack grounds or anything~ I don't mean harm! I just follow where the game goes~ yea know? I have a mouth to feed." She was kind of standoffish~ but with her words. She didn't mean harm. Something Subira didn't let off. Ears went to the side as she couldn't hear not a hoove for miles.. did she go the wrong way? She knew they went this way!
Kya frowned, "Antalope no I havent seen any come this way." she said with an apologetic tone in her voice. "You are also not intruding though, we are a very friendly pack we welcome new comers all the time." she said. She was a little worried she hoped that the friend that was sent her way would be willing to stay with her, she couldn't leave her home.
"A mouth to feed?" Kya asked her head cocked to the side again. She was suddenly worried that perhaps this wasn't the one that had been sent her way, if she had a mouth to feed then possibly she already had a mate.
Ears went down as though in utter disappointment. "They must have gone way ahead of me then.. or the other way." Sighing.. then giving a ear up to what the female said as she slowly looked more distracted. "Yes~ Izi. I just recently showed her how to make a underground den. She is my one and only lil one!" She smirked, full of proud parentship hood even though she didn't exactly know what to do. The pup just follwed her and well.. got adopted that way."A friendly pack~...hmm? Does the alpha kill pups?" Tilting her head then tilting it the other way then straight. Trying to get information.
Kya barked in horror when the white wild dog, who she realized she still didn't knowo the name of, "Our Alpha would never hurt anyone. We have two Alpha's a male hyena who has a family of his own, and loves pups, and a female wild dog who also has a family of her own. Our pack values family above all else." she told the white dog.
"I am sorry how rude of me, what is your name?" Kya didn't know if it was propert to ask her her name, as the dark wild dog had been so wierd about her wild dog.
"Your friends with HYENAS~" Taking back by this.."I thought all packs~ kill rogua pups.. to make females forced to start new within the pride. See.. I don't think I could let that happen." Itching low to the ground. "Ima.." she said as she rose her head and stood tall. "I'm a dragon from the south." Explaining. "But I've come here with that pup that followed me.. and I've been looking for a place .. but the rogulands seem easier than listening to rules.. or killing off my pup in order to keep safe. You understand though? "
"Our pack is very open with few rules. The biggest rule is that you must be kind to others, and family is of the upper most importance to us, no one would ever harm your pup. You would be celebrated for taking in a pup that wasnt your own!" Kya talked quickly and excitedly.
"Ima, that is a pretty name. I am hoping that you will decided to stick around." she was a little unsure if this wild dog was the one that was sent to her but at the same time she felt a possible spark. "I will have to adopted pups one day I think." she told the other. She wasn't ready to go full force into her personal life but she had to test the waters, see if this wild dog was really meant to be her mate.
Ima's eyes slitted.. and then she smiled. "Thats an easy rule!" Her tail flailing a bit but then the possiblity of falling for a trap. She propped up on her hind legs and sniffed about. "Are you sure thats the MAIN rules~ and they'd be ok with my pup~" Her paw waved a bit like a ocean movement before propping back down on all fours. Her tail wagging. "And if thats it~ then can I .. umm.. sees?" Something was pulling her this direction.. Ears moving from up to down and side to side to make sure she wasn't going to get ambushed. "You want to adopt pups too!?" She springed forward and happily chuckled. "Their so small.. and adorable. Their smart even if they're little and everything you say and every movement you make they can copy it~" Giggling.. and then softly remembering.. when she smiled like this.. and ears went down. "Wait~ wait.. why will you be adopting?" She was slowly warming up.. and she was slowly springing to life..
Kya smiled happily, she was estatic that the other wild dog was so excited about seeing the pack. "I sure that that is the main rule, treat others well family is important." Kya nodded as she spoke. Picking up her excitment level "Yes yes I would love to show you around." she said a smile on her face that was insanely large. She began walking around pointing out the various sites to the other wild dog as she went.
She was rolling around her mind trying to decide how was best to answer the questions of why she was going to adopt, in the end she decided the truth was the best. "Well I will adopted pups because well even if I find a mate, I wouldn't be able to produce pups with them.... I well I am interested in females not males." she said it fast as she had only admitted this to a few, but she said it confidently.
She thought on it for a moment before nodding.. When the other got excited.. she did to. She was easily lifted by others.. like the girl from back then. Her tail wagging and she propped up taking a few side steps and looking out to where she smelt the others.. a pack. Would her pup be cool with that? Wondering about her as always. Staring out to what her new life could turn to be.. until. She spoke and thoughs black eyes went to look at her. "Not males?" Questioning... her stomach turning from her expirence. Denied. She couldn't take denial and her mood demuered drasticly. "My pup needs another mother. Giving it to this pack.. maybe would be better.. " Thoughs eyes went blank like her sisters often did. "I don't think I can help you with your mate search. I'm not a good one. I'm from the patch that gazelle do not eat." A slight smile. "Show me this pack you hold dear...?" Though it seemed like a temping offer to fall in love with someone.. she didn't think she was suited. But this destiny was already written.
"I would love to be the other mother to your pup!" Kya shouted. She was overly excited about the offer, Kya loved pups and the thought of being a mother overwhelmed the wild dog with emotions she had never felt before. When the white wild dog stated she didn't think she could be Kya's mate Kya's heart sank a little, if her mate wasn't to be this wild dog then who was. She continued the tour along, all the while trying to get a handle the feelings she thought she had, she was already falling in love with this wild dog she had just met there was a magic about her the Kya just couldn't put a paw on. Only time could tell what would happen though.
