For once, Adhara actually wanted to be by herself. To think about things, to try to look at her life from a perspective that wasn't her's or anyone else's. She supposed that it was thoughts of her soon-to-be-pregnant girlfriend that led her to the park that she used to bring her daughter to, a faint smile on her face. She took a seat on a familiar bench and could practically hear her daughter's squealing and excited laughter, feel the shared adrenaline when the girl decided she wanted to attempt gliding for the first time.

Adhara slumped back in the bench a bit, amber eyes not really gazing in any particular direction. Another child, another mouth to feed, and still she hadn't managed to find a job. Still, she was making money regardless... she supposed that it would be possible to keep that underwraps for a while more, at least until she had enough money put away to take care of the child that 'Zuba was going to have. Right?

Luthor was sitting on his normal bench, eyes half closed, and he was studying the pretty pink gem that he had on his hand. It was another of those that he rather enjoyed because it was a day in the life of a young girl who had been playing in the park. It seemed to be a very happy memory from a girl with a normal life. He must admit he was a little jealous, his life had been anything but normal.

His wings gave a little flutter before he looked around, "Alright, what do we want to do next." He murmured as he put the pink jewel into the pouch with the rest of his collected memory jewels. In exchange for that gem he'd given the girl what she wanted, she wanted for her mother to win at a lottery game she played so that the woman wouldn't have to work as much anymore. It was an easy enough thing for him to rig. The jewel was pretty and surprisingly strong since it was such a nice memory, he was sure he should feel bad for taking from a child but at the same time what she got in return was nice.

The white haired spawn watched the people that were walking around, they were all possibilities for trades from what he'd seen, most any of them would like to trade most anything to get what they wanted which made them lucky that he didn't ask for severe things. He looked around the area then spotted someone interesting, someone that he knew only from things he'd read... and he found himself rising to his feet to follow after her in a very interested manner.

Adhara groaned softly to herself, the thoughts about babies whirling in her sleepless mind, diligence only fueling them into a wildfire on top of that. A whirlwind rushing through a wildfire. She chuckled aloud, a quiet and rather tragic sound. Now think about that, would it be beneficial or a disaster? The young woman shifted, torso falling forward as she hung her head, arms resting on her legs. Her wings stretched out wide behind her, earning a few exclamations from watching children before they folded back up.

Amer eyes raised to the sky and she blinked long and slow. She hadn't flown in a long time, Adhara observed. She should put off time to do that sometime. The only question was when. She was watching the two-or-more children in her house more often than not, still unable to let go of the idea that her daughter was already a preteen. When she wasn't there, she was trying to get private time with 'Zu. When she wasn't there... she didn't want to think of where she was. The female laughed weakly, shaking her head. Dark purple tendrils of hair fell from her bun, tickling her face. No way would she have chance for flight practice.

Another sad laugh fell from her lips and she glanced toward the sky once again. "Yeah right..." she murmured softly, gazing silently up toward the clouds. Hell, even if she did make time, she was almost positive that she didn't even remember how. It wasn't like she'd practiced enough to be able to do it without thinking. It was always... always other things. Always playing mommy, always... everyone else.

Compassion was hard sometimes.

When the woman next raised her head, she caught sight of a Sevens-looking child who didn't match any of the sins or virtues she had seen throughout her life. Though parts of him did look rather... familiar. No less, he was a welcome distraction from all of her baby-thoughts and other hopeless things, and it looked like he was coming in her direction. Adhi smiled happily and scooted to the side on her bench, a small part of her feeling a mess in her 'Because I'm the Daddy, that's why' shirt on and a pair of cherry-smothered pajama pants, particularly because the boy wasn't half-bad looking. Not that she was looking, of course.

"Hey there, stranger," she greeted casually, gesturing to the seat beside herself. Already Reena and Niita were outstretched toward the boy, the left tentacle stretching the furthest, as usual. She did what she could to pet the limbs and keep them distanced, but it didn't work well. "Sorry about them; haven't been around age-appropriate men-folk for a while. So tell me, what rings you here?"

Luthor had developed a bit of a bad habit, to peep into memories, to find ones that he was interested in. He wouldn't so much advertise what he could do but people seemed to sense it. He found himself doing so with the woman as he approached her finding the very foremost memories on her mind to be interesting ones. Behind them were sad feelings that he saw and both of the colors of memories interested him greatly, made his palms almost itch to take them, he had to resist as difficult as though proved to be.

He gave a little jump when she turned to look his way and he put a smile on his lips when she smiled and scoot over as though to make room for him. He settled down on the bench alongside her as he did with all of his prospective customers and he gave her a brilliant grin, "Hello." He greeted her, watching the tentacles as they reached out toward him and he lifted a hand to offer it out to the pair, as he'd done before with the single tentacle that his last spawn customer had, "Its quite alright, I have run across them before and they always seemed to be quite friendly." Maybe to much so but he didn't mind dealing with them if it meant making deals.

"Just out for a walk, doing a few business deals here and there, and you?" He asked, putting on his best smile. She seemed interesting enough and friendly enough, still he would smile his best smile to make sure to get her interested in a conversation with him so he could see what sorts of things she wanted in exchange for her beautifully colored memories.

The stranger was a welcome change to her annoyingly depressing thoughts. She fluttered her wings a bit, raising a deep purple eyebrow in response to his ambivalence to the affection of her tentacles. She rolled her eyes and chuckled a bit. "Yeah, a little too friendly at times, if you ask me," she replied, this having gotten her in trouble for longer than she could honestly remember. And yet, she released the hold of them, allowing both Reena and Niita to reach out to the young man, nuzzling against whatever of him they could easily reach, absolutely overjoyed by his presence and their release and not at all hesitant considering Adhara's current line of work.

The diligence angel gnawed gently at the inside of her lip at that thought, just a mild amount disgusted by it. Her 'job', which it was a sad excuse for, was already started to effect inhibitions that it had taken her forever to train into those same tentacles. She was worried that there was a chance that they may even manage to go back to their old ways, back when they were nothing but clingy or overprotective, never paying attention to a single thing that Adhara wanted them to do. Amber eyes flicked back up to study the man's face when he spoke once again before she scoffed, flopping herself back down on the bench and thus hindering the ability for Niita to reach the white-haired boy, causing the appendage to throw a bit of a fit.

"Oh, sitting around, enjoying nature, attempting to throw off the bonds of motherhood," she replied, laughing rather good-naturedly despite the melodrama that statement held. "Alright, so that's not quite true. I'm mostly taking a break from the whole family business. Though I've got'ta ask, what kind of business is it that you would be running out of this park?"

As he was good at doing Luthor was quietly listening as the woman spoke to him, first about her tentacles and the way that they were at times to friendly. From there she spoke of her family and he nodded where it seemed right to nod, she seemed to have a lot in the way of problems, "It must be interesting though, to have a family, to have a child." He murmured, giving a some what melancholy smile at the thought, "I can't have them myself so I suppose I am a little envious of those who can and have." It was a vow he'd made some time ago, that he wouldn't have a child to carry on his bloodline another generation. The world didn't need anyone else with Vampy's blood in their veins or with his powers.

The though was shoved aside as she asked about his business and he put on his best smile, "I grant wishes of course." He said, sounding as though he may or may not be joking, he did it this way so that those who wanted wishes could ask more and those who weren't interested could shrug it off as nothing more then a joke.

Adhara let her eyes fall sidelong across the male's form, body stretching out to recline on the predictably uncomfortable wooden bench. When he spoke again, she raised an eyebrow and smiled softly, nodding a few times and allowing her gaze to return to the playground. "It's certainly a good thing, I'll admit that. I wouldn't trade my baby girl for anything in the world, though it would have been nice to start a family when I felt I was actually ready to start a family, rather than when I was still a child," she explained, letting her eyes fall shut and nodding sagely, looking as wise to the ways of the world as she was able to.

The following statement made her laugh slightly, grinning at the man coyly. "I wouldn't be so sure of that. My daughter's father happens to betray the law of being unable to have children pretty well. Though, I suppose, you may be speaking from a different situation. 'Course, it would be difficult to have a baby, being male and all. Painful, on top of that, especially considering how painful it was just being female..." she mused, almost to herself by the end, going silent as she continued to think about what it would be like to be a pregnant male rather than a pregnant female. Making a slight face, she shook her head to dismiss that thought. It didn't seem like it would be very fun.

"Wishes?" she asked, suddenly surprised as she sat up, looking at this Luthor character incredulously. She gave a bit of a half-hearted laugh, but didn't shrug it off immediately, not by any means. After all, he appeared to be from the Facility, and nothing coming from that place should be a surprise to anyone. And she certainly did have wishes that, if they were granted, would make her life quite a bit easier... "...what exactly do you mean?"
