A dark brown unicorn looked out among the edges of the forest trying to see if any life was out there. So far she had come into contact with nothing, but random bugs and animals not of her species. She sighed a bit. Adrienne didn't mind being alone and was used to it in a way, but yet it made her feel depressed most of the time. The average Soquili would be out living life, but here she was searching for one herself if there was one for her.
Her hair blew in the crisp wind with the beads swinging back and forth. The dark brown mare eventually turned around hoping to find some water nearby since she was thirsty. "I wonder if I'll meet anything today?"

All was quiet in the world; the silence was heavy on the lone angeni’s heart, for it now had been six months since her babies have left her to explore the world. One had gone off to solve mysteries, the other to find his father. Isabliss sighed; she was still down on herself for leaving the one she loved, even though he did not love her the way that she loved him.
Above the Angeni the trees reached down their long branches to touch her wing tips in a soothing gesture; green moss grew upon the barks of the different shaped trees. The forest was a different world in of itself.
On the path a head of the winged mare, a lone Soquili stood, “Hello Madam.” Isabliss’ voice was clear; she was depressed, but that would not keep her from being polite to others.

Adrienne looked up from getting a drink to see an angelic like soquili in front of her. She looked a bit surprised at first, but she eventually swallowed the water before responding. "Hello...it's good to see that there are others out there. I was beginning to think most areas were deserted around here." She looked down a bit sad. "Then again I'm not that good socially."
She looked at the mare. "You're rather beautiful. My name is Adrienne, an outcast I guess I could say."

The mare drinking from the river in front of Isabliss was a dark brown in the coat and mane; she had different colored feathers tied in her hair. Isabliss’ silver eyes were drawn to the gold horn that rested upon the other mare’s head; it was the first Unicorn that the Angeni had ever met.
“I must say the same to you,” Isabliss gave the mare a small smile to the mare; “You are what you believe you are. Thank you,” the Angeni bowed her head, “I am called Isabliss. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance Adrienne. That, I must say is a very beautiful name.”

Adrienne lightly smiled back at the angeni. "Thank you as well. Although I mainly say that since not many approach me, then again I don't make good efforts to approach others. So it's probably my fault too." She sighed a bit disappointed. "So what brings you to these woods? They seem nice and relaxing."

The grey winged Angeni nodded to the young Uni, “Then how do you expect to meet others that will become your friend, if you do not approach them and learn about them?” Isabliss’ eyes glazed over as she remembered the reason for her being in the dense wood, “I have to travel with the North Wind, and this time, it has brought me here. Yes, these woods do appear to be quite lovely and relaxing. And there is never a lull in the beautiful singing of the birds. Are you here for that reason? That they are relaxing, or is there more?”

Adrienne shrugged. "Guess so...then again if you're shy then normally you're bound to end up like me." She really didn't know what else to say since it was the truth. She was normally very shy so that's why she never spoke, but still it couldn't hurt to talk to others. "Well...it's the only place I've known. I've lived in the woods for quite a while. It's nice and peaceful and it can take your mind off of a lot of things." She lightly paused for a moment. "Even take your mind off of past mistakes you wish you never had done." She looked down at the ground. "Not to mention there is hidden life here that not many would know about."

Isabliss looked away from the shy mare; she had never had the problem of being shy or being unable to talk to any breathing creature. It was most likely where her son got the unafraid attitude to ask questions that many would not even dare to ask. The Angeni mare turned her gaze back to the unicorn, “True, this is a place to release those built up regrets, a place where one can finally become free from the past.” She smiled, “Yes, is that what has drawn you here; the secrets of the woods and the ancient history that surrounds us?” Isabliss switched her gaze to the trees around her, with the trees she felt familiarity, for her coat bore the dark shadow of a tree.

Adrienne nodded her head. "Indeed...that's why I like it here." She looked up at the trees and how the sunlight shown through like glitter before looking back at Isabliss. "I'm very sorry to intrude, but do you know what it's like to have a family that loves and cares for you?" She looked down. "If that's too personal I'm very sorry...I know I shouldn't ask questions like that."
She glanced down at the ground. "Truthfully...I had a family, but I wanted to make it on my own without their help. I was always depending on them for one thing or another. So I decided to be less of a burden and make it on my own."

Isabliss’ gaze shot back to the mare, who appeared so innocent in that moment of time that Isabliss felt her motherly instincts kick in; it had been a while since she had felt the urge to care about anything, “Yes. Yes I do. I have to loving sons, who would do go to the ends of the earth for me, and I would do the same for them,” Isabliss looked away, “I have not seen them in six months. One, my oldest, has become a Detective. And the other, my youngest, has gone on a search for his father.” The Angeni mare turned her eyes back on to the uni, “Miss Adrienne, you would never be a burden to those who love you. That is what family is for, to love you through thick and thin. To love you for all of you, not just the good qualities.”

Adrienne was a bit surprised at first by the mares reaction. She wasn't expecting her to tell her the whole thing since most would scoff at her and tell her to keep her mouth shut. "Oh...well it must be nice to have some of your own. Although I don't know if I would want that or not. It's definitely a lot of responsibility." She smiled a bit at the last part.
"I see...that sounds like what my mom and dad say." She looked down at the ground for a moment. "I...um...I wasn't the brightest one of the bulb and normally required the most help since my brother and sister were excellent at doing what they did. Plus they're really great at social skills/winning people over to their side. Almost like an all around perfect Soquili to talk to."

The question had made the Angeni mare remember her two sons, she wondered where they were at this current moment and if she would ever see them again. Her sons would know where to find her, since one was a great detective and he would follow the clues, “It is quite nice. I can remember the joy I felt when I saw myself in both my sons and hints of their father. It is a responsibility, but if you love what you are doing, then it becomes less so.”
Every Soquili was different, there are not two of the same, not even twins are one hundred percent similar, “They may have wonderful social skills, but they are not you and they can never be. You have qualities inside of you that they cannot even dream of possessing. In you quietness, you can learn so much from others just by listening and that, at many times, helps you learn more about that Soquili than talking to him or her ever would.”

Adrienne listened to the angeni mare as she talked about her children. It didn't sound so bad afterall. The brown mare just wasn't sure if she could handle kids or not. Granted she was nice to them, but there were areas she still lacked discipline in. "I see. Well that must be nice then."
The unicorn listened to the second part as well. It made sense to her and something she definitely agreed with. Problem was not everyone saw it that way and would harass her for being to quiet. "Yeah, but it hurts when you're called a snob. It is easier to figure out what others are like if you listen."

Isabliss gave the mare a smile that did not reach her eyes; she was trying to hide the sadness that lingered in her heart, the mare before her did not need to bare her burdens. The angeni mare knew by the way the mare was standing that she believed that she was not ready for the responsibility as a parent; that feeling would change soon, when the mare found the one that completed her heart.
“Yes, it is a very nice feeling and I hope that one day, when you are ready, you too can share the joy.”
Labels. The concept only confused the world. Why label a soquili if that soquili could be more than that? “Those who do not take the time to get to know you and label you as a snob do not deserve to have your friendship. Judgment before knowing one is a problem the world needs to get over to be able to move forward into the future. And just remember, it is not a privilege to know others, to know yourself is a privilege.” Isabliss looked away from the Unicorn, her silver eyes closing as she spoke her next words, “I apologize for my tirade, please do forgive me, for I believe I spoke out of place.”
