Heha: *Laughs some and nudges Hydro a bit with his muzzle* Oh come on. Pachu'a is an old friend of mine. He won't harm you or hurt you. Plus he is the best suited to help you find that damn thing your looking for. >.> *Nods*
Hydro: *Huffs* Ugh well can't I just go alone. I know the area and who cares if I'm hurt. -3- I will learn a lesson... *Huffs some more and sighs deeply before seeing a figure in the distance* I'm guessing that is him? >>; *Glares in Pachu'a's direction*

Pacha'a: he glanced up as he heard them approching. The glare from the little girl told him all that he needed to know. His own gaze hardened then he turned his back to stare out at the distance. Travel so far with some one who so clearly already hated him? It was a measure of his loyalty to his friend that he didn't just leave. He was still questioning his sanity for agreeing in the first place. His tail flicked in irritation, and only self control kept his ears upright and still.

Heha sighed and looked to Pachu'a with a serious stare before nudging Hydro once more. "Thank you for doing this my friend. It's hard enough to get you to come around to talk to you let alone go on a trip with a stranger. Also don't mind her. She isn't half as bad as she looks." He nodded before laughing lightly and yawning. "Well anyway..Pachu'a this is Hydro and vice versa. She will direct you to the place she is looking for. She only knows half the way, but has the description in her head through words. It will be an interesting adventure." He said smiling widely.
Hydro huffed more noticing that the stallion wasn't exactly a warm fellow, but then again she didn't really care. "Hello.." She said in a slightly dry, yet sad tone of voice. It was apparent that she was upset about something, but would never bring it up. "Oh shut up Heha..." She muttered and usually got quiet like this around new people. She gave quick glances to the stallion every now and then before looking off into the distance of the direction they would be headed.

Pachu'a flicked an ear and slowly turned. He gave his friend a long hard look. No words. Heha would get the meaning or he wouldn't. Not pachu'a's problem. He looked over the filly, now that she was close enough. She was pretty. And probably full of herself and sure she didn't need him along. Again if not for his friend, he'd let her have her head, and let whoever went after her also have her head. But he made neither friends nor promisies lightly. He would honor his word. With a huff, he waited for the annoying one to lead.

Heha looked at them bother and knew sooner or later they would have to talk on the journey. "Well I will let you two be on your way. Remember to look out for one another. I know you may hate each other now, but I don't want either of you hurt. Got it?" he said in one final breath before turning away from them and walking back into the woods.
Hydro huffed once Heha left before looking over to Pachu'a not sure what she could say to him. "Alright let's go. Keep up." She told him as she walked slowly with her head drooping a little bit and wasn't one to be peppy while adventuring. "Everyone seems to know Heha. How long have you two been friends? Since you were foals?" She asked him curiously with a glance back to him eyeing his necklace a bit. It was like her to get interested in things that caught her eye. She loved it. Even his curly hair got her curious. "Nice necklace." She told him softly before jumping over a rock.

.... keep up. Was she serious? Slugs moved faster. They would march all day at this pace and not cross a field, much less make any real progress. He didn't answer when she asked about heha, which seemed to be fine as she had prattled on without waiting for an answer. And then hoping over a rock as she jumped topics. It all just reaffirmed what he already knew. This was going to be a looooong journy. Keep up his tail feathers. He flicked an ear in annoyance and let the little fluff head keep talking if she must. He made no promises to answer her. Just to escort her and if he could, keep her safe.

Hydro looked back at the quiet male not really sure what else she could say since he wasn't really answering her at all. He made noises, but other then that it was like she was walking with a doll. "Sorry if I am talking to much...I actually never really talk at all. Oddly though I have broken out of that shy cold exterior. Weird eh?" She said to him and not really expecting an answer back. Picking up her pace, she walked faster to make a little headway. "So do you have any family?" She asked curiously.

he walked with her, ears flicking back. "don't you keep anything to yourself?" he grumbled, his only responce as his tail swished in irritation. Did the girl ever stop talking? Irritating brat. This was going to be such a long journy. At least she had finally picked up the pace. Why did she want to know about his family anyway? Nosy brat.he walked with her, ears flicking back. Hydro heard his words and gave a snort of disapproval. "I do...You know sometimes its better to talk about things. I use to be really quiet and barely talked, but now I do. It helps me." She snorted and narrowed her eyes at the male. "Don't tell me anything then. It's your choice and I won't pry." She shrugged before jumping across a small stream and trotting a little.

He'd beleive THAT when he didn't hear it. His ears flicked again. That was it, he decided, that's what she reminded him of. A little annoying insistant fly. Ony ther thing he flicked his ears over so much and yet couldn't be rid of. "Good for you," he grumbled, not meaning it in the least, just hoping she would finally shut up.

Hydro heard his words and didn't respond to anything. She grew tired of trying to make conversation and it was wearing thin on her anger. She didn't want her temper to get the best of her right now since she really needed to get where she was going. Flicking her tail, she continued to trot across the field not sure if she wanted to head through the mountain path or go the shorter route into the thorn valley. Shaking her mane, she paused and eyed the two ways thoroughly.

Hydro snorted at his immediate accusation turning him and digging her foot in the soil. "No you big baby.. There is two ways we can go. It will be longer through the mountain path, but if we take the thorn valley it will be easier...just a good chance of us being pricked." She said shrugging some. "Which do you prefer..? >>;" She asked with a steady glare on him.

he narrowed his eyes. "I am not carrying you. If you choose the thorn path, I am not obligated to protect you from the thorns," he snorted, pawing the ground in irritation. he was NOT going to be chewed out over her legs getting ripped up and he was not letting her ride his back. And then there was the worry of an alergic reaction. He never had good luck with thorn bushes. is legs still itched from the last time. But the other route.... which was worse. her for longer, or puffy itching legs? He wasn't sure, so was glad it wasn't his choice to make.
