Bug wanted to get out of the heat so she wandered into the nearest building she could find. Bug pushed through a door that spun around to quickly and she was back outside, that was weird. She tried it again and failed to get inside. The little yellow girl puffed her cheeks and followed a lady through to door. This time she made it through and WOAH! Bug's eyes got huge it was a street inside! She felt the cool air in the building and decided she really liked this place. There was more people inside here than there were on the street. Easy pickings the urchin thought to herself and ran past a group of girls snatching a lolipop out of a blond girl's pocket.

Kay found himself at the mall more often lately. It seemed to be a good place to meet new...people. He liked people. He liked people a lot. Especially when they had assets. He was sitting back on a bench, people-watching in the cooler air, and got a bit of an amusing show, watching that little girl take on the revolving door. The teen laughed, getting to his feet to go and help her when she seemed to figure it out on her own, and before he knew it she was already running...and grabbing something from someone's pockets? Huh. Street rat, maybe?
Positioning himself just right, he reached out and snatched the girl as she ran past him, tossing her into the air for fun, and easily catching her after, letting her sit on his hip. Nahual had long since curled into the back of Kay's hair, not caring for this mall business. "I saw that." He told her cheerfully, patting her head with his free hand. "Good job, she didn't even notice!"

Bug was just running and wait, up in the air? She didn't, oh, someone grabbed her. Bug stared in the face of the Boy who picked her up, he had a lot of scratches on him, did he fall out of trees too?
Oh, he was giving her praise for taking the lolipop. Bug smiled, giggled a bit and offered her prized to the boy. It was a green one, she didn't really like the taste of them, too sour.

"Ooh, very nice. You can keep it though, you totally earned it." Sure he was encouraging rotten behaviour, but hey, she was a little kid...there must be a parent nearby that could correct it. Disciplining her wasn't his job, after all! "My name's Kay. What's yours?" Introducing himself, he hummed again and lifted his scarred hand, wiping some dirt from her cheek because he could. "An' where's yer Mum or Dad?"

Bug nodded to the boy's refusal and put it in her pocket to give to Wei later. This guy was really nice! Bigger people usually start to yell at her and tell her she's "stealing", what ever that was. they just didn't get that that's how you got food.
This guy understood, and his name was Kay, huh. Bug nodded to that name, and introduced herself "I'm BUG, you're cool! She giggled after blurting that out and squinted as he wiped the dirt of her cheek.
Bug cocked her head to one side and went wide eyed. Wei had mentioned moms and dads before, Bug never had one, not that she knew of anyways. She shrugged and answered the only way she knew how, with a question "and wheres yours?"

The teen chuckled when she blurted her name, jostling her to position her a little more comfortably on his hip. Not really wanting to stand around anymore, he started walking. If she wanted down, she wanted down...he didn't see any adults near her when she first walked in, and nobody had yet to yell for someone called Bug, so he assumed that walking would be fine.
"Well thank ya! You're pretty cool yourself, where'd you learn to do that, eh?" He couldn't imagine she learned it on her own, most kids had the subtlety of a brick to the face. His brow lifted when she turned the question back on him, and like her he shrugged. "Dunno! Mum's prolly at the shop an' Dad's at home I guess." Where else would they be? The pair was nothing if not predictable. "Didn't answer my question though, little Bug!" He reminded her, looking around for anyone that could be trying to find a little yellow girl with wings.

Bug didn't mind being repositioned, she liked being carried around. Wei wouldn't do that, she called her lazy and made her walk everywhere.
Bug's eyes started to wander as Kay was talking, there was a fountain inside?! Bug's attention snapped back when he asked how she learned how to get that lolipop. "Wei taught me." that was a good enough answer, plus taking things from pockets was now more of an instinct. The birds she watched did it all the time, well they didn't go through pockets, if they had hands they would, but she did see them snatch fries and other foods of picnickers all the time.
Kay had a mom and a dad, Bug wondered what they must have looked like before he came back with his question again. She puffed her cheeks, now what was she suppose to do? Bug wiggled on Kay's hips and kept quite.

"Wei. Who is Wei?" He inquired curiously, lightly poking the little girl's stomach to see if she was ticklish at all. When she didn't answer his question the second time, he could only assume that she didn't have parents...but this Wei person must have been some form of Guardian in order to teach her, right? He hoped so, seeing a child without a home or Family was...pretty sad, actually.
"Say, are ya hungry, Bug? I'm hungry...wanna get some food?"

"My boss!" she beamed. "We live in the old booo..." Bug clasped her hands on her mouth and squeaked. She's not suppose to tell anyone where they lived with out Wei's permission first, that was the only rule Wei gave her when she went wandering by herself.
She giggled when Kay poked her tummy, it tickled, she liked that feeling and hoped he'd do it again. She started to poke his tummy in hopes he'd tried to "fight back."
When he asked if she was hungry she nodded fiercely, when wasn't she hungry?

"Old Bo...?" Kay parroted, tilting his head curiously. Well, she didn't want to tell him? Fine! Laughing, he moved a hand and pat her back, avoiding her cute little wings...until she poked him. Ohho, war was it? Grinning, the teen did indeed 'fight back', but instead of just poking the once he wiggled his fingers against her stomach, tickling her and actually trying.
"Alright then, food it is! I want a burger. That sound good, midget?" The nickname slipped by accident; it was usually his nickname for Roxy, but since Roxy had a growth spurt...the nickname didn't quite suit her anymore. So, Bug was his new Midget.

Giggling at his fury Bug wiggled about and pushed at him. "Stop" she protested, but she didn't really want him to tickling her.
When Kay suggested a burger, Bug thought she'd drool, she wanted EVERYTHING on it if he'd let her.
"I do!" she belted out and clung close to him, Bug guy was awesome. Praise, tickles, and food?! Bug was bubbling with joy. But wait what's a midget? Bug pondered about how she was one without knowing it into Kay's chest.

She protested, and for a moment he ignored her, still tickling her right up until she answered him and clung to him. Well, that answered that. Laughing and hugging her to his bare chest, the scarred teen headed towards the food court, picking out a burger place and standing in line. Once it was his turn, he ordered two burger specials, both with everything; whatever she didn't finish, he certainly could!
"Hope puttin everything on it's okay...you can eat a lot, yeah?" It was partially a tease since she was so light, but it was also just for fun. Regardless of her answer, he balanced her on one hip and took the tray with his newly free hand, heading over to find a table for them to both sit.

Bug rocked her feet while they stood in line why did people line up for food, big people were strange. Bug started to hum when the line up was taking its sweet time.
Bug looked from Kay's chest and stared at the pile forming on the burgers that were ordered. When Kay took hold of the meal Bug knew for sure that they were theirs and looked up at Kay's face.
"UH HUH!" Bug hadn't eaten since hmm she didn't know when she last had food. Not that that matter hand outs were never declined, if she couldn't eat it then she stuffed it in her pocket for later, or for Wei.

Chuckling, Kay found a seat and sat her down in it first, putting the tray in front of her. Once she was down, he took the seat across from her, and reached out to take one of the burgers, opening it up and chowing down. He really didn't have much to say, in fact he was a bit too hungry to really care for idle chit chat right now, but he did watch the girl curiously. She was so tiny...but could she eat that entire meal by herself?

After being placed in a chair Bug swung her feet inward and continued to rock her legs back and forth, in her mind she was attempting to hit either the floor or the middle stand which ever came first.
The tray was placed in front, but she didn't know if he had staked claims over one so waited for Kay to choose first. The left one okay Bug would take the right, she reached and gapped her mouth, you can peel the burger? Why would you do that? it was such a waste of food?! The girl was completely floored.
Bug shook her head, and got herself staring at Kay instead of eating her meal. Maybe he was saving it for last? Sometimes she did that, yeah, that's what he had to be doing.
Bug opened wide and *Chomp* started nomming her burger paper wrap and all. She was half way through it when she felt thirsty and went to grab her drink. It was a bit to far out of her reach so when she stretched to grab it a pull back Bug swung a bit far and knocked the fries on to the floor.
"Uh Oh" Too dumbstruck staring at the mess she made of the fries, she began to spill her drink on her and the floor too.
