 Deva crawled out of the tree roots, she had run off to go explore. She was new to this world and everything seemed so shiny and fresh. Her mother and father were not together but they were indeed friends and that did make her happy, she also found out that she also had another step father, because her mother and a male that she was not sure of the name had given birth to her step siblings, five of them whom would be related to her and her sister because of her mother. Two brothers and three sisters. That to her was amazing and she was excited to maybe meet them some day soon. She smiled to herself as she bounced around in the sun. It was a lovely day and so she was in a great mood on the exception that she had not a one to play with. She sighed to herself as she moved around toward a clearing in the trees, where a path was winding its way. She followed a path to come across a cave, it was dark and interesting and she decided she would venture inside to check it out.

Wandering out the day before probably hadn't been his greatest idea Yet, he could honestly admit to himself, however, there was no regret in the young Kit, none whatsoever. He had gone too far from his den and had at some point come across the dark cave where, he decided, was a good place to sleep for the night. He'd woken to find it still quite dark and he wondered if day had not yet come, but then he remembered, "Ah yes, the Cave is Dark." and so he rose to his feet and trotted to the entrance, just in time to see a second kit, a Lovely black and red female, approaching. He sat down and gave her a big smile. "'Allo there and Good Morning!" he greeted her in his ever present friendly Manner.

Deva came into the mouth of the cave a jumped back, out of no where there was another fox, a male who was red with black markings. "oh!" she yelled out shocked by his sudden appearance. "Um allo, who are you?" she swallowed and relaxed gaining her composure. He was a cute little male and she smiled thinking that maybe now she had found someone to play with. She sat down and looked at him, her eyes looking into his. She had one bright green eye and one yellow eye, duel colors ran in her family and so it was only fitting that she gain them too. The yellow from her father, and the green from her mother. "What may I ask are you doin' in here?" she said her slight accent now apparent.

"Th'name's Gradient! What about you?" he asked, tail wagging excitedly. Her eyes were very pretty, he found the dual colors very cool looking. "Your markings are wicked brilliant." he said beaming, "I got bored at th'den so I though' I might explore a bit... Came across the cave and fell asleep." he said sheepishly. He grinned and tipped his head toward the Cave. "Want to come see?" he asked her, standing up. "It's really big!"

Deva watched the young male for a short time as he spoke. "Well i't very nice to'u meet you. Name's Deva."she wagged her tail gently back and forth, and blushed softly when he made a remark about her markings. "thank you, tha' is really nice of you to'u say" she said her accent a little thicker now, a Scottish accent like her dad usually had. "Your markin's are pretty good as well." she said smiling. she nodded "Sure! I would love to'u go explore wi'h you." she grinned and giggled as she followed him into the depths of the cave. " so you from aroun' here?" she said as they walked on, "Me da'd came from Scottlan', he was born there. Wa' abou' you?"

"Hm, Me? Well, I'm nothin' too special... fairly normal, I'd reckon, far as things go.... Me mum's Rose and Me Pa's Blaze. I've got 5 other siblings... Ada, Violetta, Taso, Setsuna and Inochi... My family... we live in a hidden cove. It's called Luna Grove... t's a mighty pretty place..." he smiled a charming smile, "I've got me mother's brown eyes and her markings, but they be black like me da's fur." he wandered slowly into the cave. "Snuck away while they were eating I did. Never can seem to stay in one place very long without makin' a bit'o'mischief." he admitted sheepishly.
He put his nose to the damp floor of the rock cave and looked around. "Oh my... Deva, would'ya geta load o'this place?" he said, looking at their surroundings in awe. A small pool of water at the entrance was the only surface to capture light from the outside world. The sunlight reflected from the water's face into the black of the dark cavern and hundreds of small, tiny facets of light glittered around the shadowy ceiling like stars. Upon closer inspection by the young male he found the little starlets of light to be pieces of fools gold, winking softly in the light's reflection from the pool. "It's quite pretty..." he said with appreciation as he sat, gazing up at the ceiling of the cave.
