(10:35:38 PM): It was in the middle of the night and Ku-Ku was out on her own in search of something to snack on. The female hopped through tree to tree with the up most skill. This was a pro at tree hopping and climbing. In hunting , how ever, she could use a few pointers. Because she was making a lot of noise going through the trees.
Animals beneath scattered when she hopped to the tree. Sure she was graceful, but the sound of bending tree branches was not an ideal way to sneak up on prey.

(11:15:54 PM): Tak was on a similar mission. For now though he was just prowling the underbrush and scouting out his temporary turf. The downside of living a nomadic life meant that you often ended up on the territory of a bigger, bader, male cat then yourself. It was so common place now though that he could relax.
Sure his singing might attract the local bruiser. But if that happend he'd just puff up, play the big man, then run like a scared cheetah.

(11:42:36 PM): The female hopped from branch to branch with out a care in her mind. She was focused and she was going to get what she wanted. There was a glint in Ku-kus eyes as she roamed the tree tops.
But Singing caught her ear. Singing? Her eyes searched for the source and her paws worked their way down the tree. Who was singing at this hour... She kept her eyes opened.

He paused a moment to hop down from the top of a small rocky outcrop. So far he was safe. No sign of an opposing male. Maybe he could stay here for a while.

(11:48:50 PM): Was he safe now? The blue leopard was getting closer and closer. A minor mis calculation , however, caused a branch to snap and sent the branch and leopard falling down ward. Ku-ku was on the ground before she could yelp at what happened.
What had happened again?

His signing came to a dead stop as Ku-Ku crashed down right in the middle of his path.
"Uh... Hello there... mam?" it was female, right? Oh wouldn't that be a deadly mistake. Calling a male mam in the middle of his own turf...

(11:56:26 PM): The leopard was a female. It was hard to tell though under all the branch clutter what gender though. Ku-ku's head shot up when she was addressed. A gray male? How embarrassing to have crashed right infront of a male leopard. Ugggh.
"I swear I usually am better at this!" She protested shaking leaves and twigs off of her.

She was moving though. That was a good thing.

(12:02:33 AM): Oh right.. pain.. The female wasn't feeling anything right now but she was sure tomorrow she was going to have a few nasty bruises. Nothing to serious though. Nothing was broken. The fall hadn't been all that high but the ground had been all that hard.
"I think Im fine" She stretched as if she hadn't just fallen out of a tree.
"Do you sing to scare away the prey or something," She assumed this must be the creature who had been singing.

When she spoke though his attention snapped back to her.
"That's good. And no... Just to stave off loneliness. Nothing like a good song to make you feel like you're in good company."

(11:09:35 PM): The female nodded she couldnt fight with that logic. Still he was probably scaring off potential snacks and that was not okay. Little did Ku-ku realise, her branch breaking fall and earlier noisy jumping probably also scared off a good amount of prey. But she hadn't thought of that yet.
"You could be scaring off some tasty potential food." She licked her maw. Hungry.

It never occured to me that I might be disterbing someone else's meal.... My appologies if your dinner was scared off because of me."

"Thank you. Im Kushami by the way in case you were wondering," The blue leopardess gave the male a smile. "Its nice to meet you mr. singer"

"Nice too meet you too, Kushami," he purred. "Mine is Lorkan'Tak, but you can just call me Tak if you'd like."
Would females know, he wondered, if there were other males nearby? Even if they did, would it be rude to ask?

"Course I'd like to go find one. Two sets of eyes and claws are better then one." She had to admit she was liking these odds already. "Come on follow me. ~" This was the start of a potential partnership.
