 Auralia dipped her muzzle into the icy water as she bathed herself in the river. It was a perfect day, the sun was shining down on the meadow warming it up just perfectly. Aura took a small sip of the clear water then climbed onto the bank and shook herself. The droplets of water shot off all around her, making her golden fur glimmer, and reflecting a rainbow over her for a brief moment.
She looked to the sky and began daydreaming about her future mate....

 Ramses had been taking a long walk enjoying the feeling of the warm sun on his fur. He glanced around the area as he walked wondering if he might come across any beautiful females. Suddenly he saw something shiny like gold coming out of the water nearby and for a brief moment saw a rainbow that disappeared just as soon as he saw it. Ramses blinked quickly to see if he was truly seeing what he was seeing. As the sun moved briefly behind a cloud he was finally able to see what caused the vision of gold before him. To his suprise it was a beautiful female fox, the likes of which he had never seen before. She took his breath away.
He decided to saunter over to where she was and stick out his chest trying to impress her. He gave her the cocked eyebrow with a wink that usually made females melt. There was something about this female that was different than others he had met before, he just couldn't put his finger on it. "Hi, gorgeous...where is a fine creature like you from?" He asked as he stared into her deep emerald eyes.

Aura blinked a few times, snapping out of her daydream. "Oh hello." she said simply. She tried not to let him see how his compliment made her heart skip a beat. "I come from coonau Forest, but i recently moved here to Luna grove~" She said, with a bit of flirtatiousness. Slowly, hoping he'd not notice, she looked him over. He wasn't too bad looking she thought. "How about yourself? Are you from around here?" She asked, trying to find out a little more about this rather handsome fox.

Ramses was stunned, she wasn't melting at his feet or falling all over herself for him. He glanced quickly at himself, he smelled good and clean and well groomed. What was going on? Had he lost his charm. He decided to learn more about her to see what was so different about her. "Oh, I see...I am actually from here in Luna Grove...it is the most beautiful place in the world. Of course that is my opinion." During their conversation he carefully moved his eyes up and down her body, 'wow, she is prettier than he initially thought' he thought to himself. What a curious fox.

Aura smiled cutely at this mysterious fox. "I have to agree with you on that one, Luna Grove is quite beautiful." She smiled again as she saw his eyes look over her. She shifted her weight awkwardly...
"oh my... how rude of me!" She exclaimed. "My name is Auralia." She smiled again. "May i ask your name?"

Ramses smiled in agreement. "It is nice to meet you my dear, my name is Ramses". He found this female so intriguing. "So what are you are doing around here by yourself? Do you live nearby now or are you just visiting?" Ramses was getting really suprised, he couldn't get a read on her and his charming ways and handsome looks seemed to have little affect on her like it did on most females. Had he finally met his match?

"Ramses." She repeated. "Its a wonderful name, very.. regal?" She said slowly, finding the right words. "Uhm.. actually i got a bit lost..." she mumbled and blushed. "Since i'm new to the area, i thought i'd look around... but i have no idea where im going anymore." She giggled. She really felt like an idiot for saying it, but he was the first fox she'd seen all day, and he was handsome enough, she didn't mind being a damsel in distress this one time.

"Thank you my dear, I was named after the Egyptian pharoah Ramses, or so I assume." He laughed. "You are lost? Well let me be of assistance in any way I can. Is there anything I can help you with?" He had an idea! "My dear...if you need a place to stay for awhile...you are more than welcome to stay with me at my den." Ramses raised his eyebrow wondering what she would think of his suggestion. He turned his charm up another notch and grinned a huge grin.

She giggled at his confidence of his names origin. "So you are an Egyptian god~"
At first she smiled at his chivalry for helping a damsel, but as he added the bit about needing a place she frowned a little. It was horribly inappropriate to room with a fox she just met, but he was also male. There were so many taboo against behavior like that. But he offered, she didn't want to turn him down after a kind thought. Oh what to do, she thought. She thought for a moment, she really was lost, and she DIDN'T have anywhere to stay..."Well..." she started, "I would like to get back to SOMEWHERE." She laughed, "I've been wandering around for a few days out here" She took a long pause... "But i don't think staying with you would be appropriate..."

"Well I like to think of myself as related to the pharoah." He pushed out his chest with the feeling of significance. Ramses realized what she was thinking..."My dear, I have a guest room on the otherside of my large den. I promise I would not intrude on your privacy at all. It even has a private restroom for you. I thought that since you had no place to stay here that you might want to rest have a good meal and a clean place to stay until you can get on your feet. I apologize if it came across in a bad way, I did not intend it that way." He carefully edged closer to her, "Please allow me to offer my accomdations to you, I know they may not be 5 star, but they are what I own and call home. If there is anything else I can offer you or help you with at least, please don't hesitate to ask." He said with a graceful bow.

She giggled again as he puffed out his chest. She suddenly realized what she said and quickly tried to fix it. She didnt wish to offend him. "Oh no no no" she stammered. "I didn't mean you would, i think your a very nice guy! I just meant that, you know, i just met you and all, and well, I'd hate to take advantage of your kindness and hospitality." She began to ramble nervously before catching herself and taking a deep breath.
"I-I'd love to stay with you Ramses." She smiled. "But there must be some way to pay you back? I really must repay you..." she trailed off.

"You have a nice laugh you know." He laughed, "I didn't think you were suggesting anything...I just wanted to make sure you knew how everthing was situated and that you would have saftey and privacy." Ramses paused for a moment, "I am glad my dear that you have accepted the use of my accomidations. Really it is no trouble and you don't need to repay me at all. It is my pleasure and your company is thanks enough for me. I don't have many guests or companions over very much, so it will be nice to be a host for once in a long time." He didn't know why he suddenly felt that he should share part of his intermost thoughts. Ramses changed his position trying to cover up and suppress his lonliness.

"Thank you." She said blushing at his comment about her laugh. She was a bit shocked to hear Ramses hadn't entertained in a while, he was such a charming fox. "Well Ramses, i really appreciate it. So very much." She cooed sincerely. "I am ever so glad to see that there is still chivalry in the world," She paused, "Being a gentleman has seem to become and old fad." She chuckled.
She watched Ramses shift uncomfortably. Wanting to relieve him of whatever thoughts were causing him pain, Aura tried to think of something to say. "Where are we exactly?" She questioned, still the little lost female.

"No need to thank me, but you are welcome regardless." Ramses smiled at her, kind of distracted. "I have always believed that females such as yourself should be treated gently and respectfully like rare and delicate flowers, each one unique and beautiful in their own right. I hate male foxes that use and abuse these beautiful flowers. Of course I must say honestly that you are by far the most beautiful." He sighed, he wass thankful that she was providing a distraction to him so that he could push his feelings deep down into the back of his mine.

She giggled again. She was really becoming fond of this fox. His manner was so confident, and yet his thoughts were not. It made for an interesting, and turbulent conversation. Then she blushed at his comparison to flowers, especially that he thought she was beautiful. "Why thank you Ramses~" She cooed softly.
She was feeling rather tired of being in the middle of nowhere... "Ramses?" She started, "I haven't been in a clean den in so long." She said hopefully, "Shall we start off?" She asked as she started past him, away from the river, brushing up against him softly.
