Black ears twitched at the sound of birds chirping above her, her claws scratching at the ground to try and alleviate her irritation. The lioness had yet to eat, and was admittedly having an issue catching anything today.

Truthfully, this probably should not be bothering her as much as it was. Since she had lived on her own all this time, she was used to only tracking and catching small game, and thus sometimes not eating as much as she probably should. However, the fact that she could hear those birds above her and know that by the time she got up there, said birds would be gone... was just torturous, and she really did think the little pests were mocking her. It would not surprise her.

And that was why she was getting twitchy. She had a very strong urge to start yelling at the feathered beasts.

But that wouldn't solve anything.

So with a slight snarl on her face, Aislin flattened her ears against her head and resolutely began to ignore them. Bright green eyes scanned the land in front of her, trying to find something suitable for her to eat. It wasn't long before she decided that there was nothing, ergo it would be a good idea to keep moving. With a flick of her tail, the hungry feline continued walking.
