~Heatherclan~

I couldn't stand watching my clan grow weaker. I hunted, day after day, night after night, but I knew I would only find scrawny prey. It was better than nothing after all. The clan stayed alive, as me and other warriors hunted and got water for the other cats. We worked non stop, and our hard work payed off. Cats were feeling better, they could help with other duties(lol duties) and help the medicine cat get herbs. To us, it didn't matter if there were foxes and badgers trying to rule the forest. We stayed where we were. The other two clans, Hauntedclan and Fireclan, were too scared and weak to do anything. They were killed off, one clan at a time. Aquastar, the leader of Aquaclan, and I knew it was only a matter of time before they would attack us. Until then I, Heatherstar, will prepare our clan for attack.

A moon later, nothing stirred. The foxes and badgers were still taking our prey, as though they didn't have enough, and we were still stuck with barely any prey. I knew that bare-leaf was coming, and all of the prey would be hiding in their burrows. I had heard Aquaclan's screeches and a couple of cats ran through our camp, hoping to find a hiding spot. I told them to leave. Why should they hide in my camp? Those cowards should be helping their own clan. And that was it. We were the only clan left. I knew sooner or later, that we needed to leave.

I started planning our escape with two senior warriors, Roseheart and Poppynose, and my mate, Stormeye. We began working out a plan to leave the territory. It was simple to see that we had absolutly no chance against them and we weren't about to lose any cats. We gathered up all of the fit cats and told them to hunt, and gather water and herbs. When we were all fit to go, I signaled the leave.

But what I didn't know was that we were too late to leave. Foxes burst through the walls of our camp. Our clan suddenly sprang to life and attacked our enemy. I told Stormeye to take the clan out. We were going to avoid battle at all cost. I could faintly see our clan quickly leave our camp. Foxes began to dash toward our clan, but I stopped them in their tracks. I told the other warriors to run back to the clan, and they reluctantly obayed. All of the foxes stood side by side glaring and spitting at me. I knew I wasn't going to survive after this, but I was the leader of Heatherclan. I was the protector of this clan, and I was making sure they could get a good escape. The foxes sprung and I fought to my dieing breath.

While I was in Starclan, I watched over my clan and sent my medicine cat messages. Together, we help guide our clan. Finally, my clan is at peace. They have found a new territory and the elders are picking out a new leader since my deputy was killed the day I died. Now you know the history of Heatherclan. But I must leave now. May Starclan light you're path.
