This is a private role play between Huang-Fu[Nyxtsuki Moon] and Kyung[Koco Pelli].

Setting

Cherry Tree Hill
Huang and Kyung share a secret and find out that their altercation one day is each other worst enemy! What goes from there?
PostPosted: Sun Jul 11, 2010 9:27 pm

Huang had been coming back to the tree for days on end, waiting on the side he usually sat on for his friend and the mysterious K to come back. He would often talk to himself hoping for a reply on the other side. Today was no different as he sat on the root he had grown accustomed to the past days, rambling of his problems and his joys of the past days.

"Hello K."
Huang said out loud after making himself comfortable, "It has been a few days since i have heard your voice and i can truly admit that our last chat was not enough to talk to each other." Huang tried to keep the desperation out of his voice, to rely on this mysterious person was becoming close to his reliance on Jianyu. He didn't wait for a reply but kept going.

"The last time we we're to meet, i ran into a unsavory character, and while i must admit that i was in the wrong after my actions, I blatantly hurt the boy on purpose. Albeit he was just as rude."
Huang paused now waiting for K to respond. His heart beat so fast waiting for a sound to come from the other side of the tree. K....where are you?

His first day of freedom and Kyung had found himself running up the cherry tree hill to take a seat behind his tree. He had spent the whole day there so far, alternating between naps and simply enjoying the scenery. Perhaps it had been because of his house arrest, but being out now, everything seemed so much better than before. The air was fresher, the flowers livelier and the people happier.

Dozing from the warm air, he sat up when he heard that familiar voice. So his wait hadn't been in vain. Listening to the Lunarian on the other side, Kyung found himself nodding and frowning as he sympathized with his friend.

He waited for his friend to finish before speaking.

"I'm glad to know that I was not the only one who enjoyed our last chat together. And, I apologize for having been absent for so long on such short notice. I would like to say I also, met an unsavory character that day. He was quite rude and also violent. He attacked me without warning, leaving me with a broken nose. That was why I couldn't come for the past few days. My father was quite upset and had me thrown under house arrest. But now the area under my eyes are just bruised and my nose is tender, otherwise I seem to be fine."

Huang's heart skipped and he let out a deep sigh of relief. K was back, the voice seemed more familiar then before and it was met with a kinda of eager enthusiasm.

"He must've been a really unsavory character..." Huang paused in his sentence, wait... "He broke your nose? and your father threw you under house arrest for an action you didn't do and probably didn't want? I am sorry...K....It seems unfair that you would have to deal with such a frightening individual like that. I was lucky enough to meet one who had more power in words than he did physically." Huang nodded his head to himself, his opponent of last time had a weaker body, more dedicated to a female. Even the other boy's appearance had been to pretty for a female. Haung had to admit sadly, with him breaking the nose of the other Lunarian, even though he deserved it, meant ruining a perfectly capable face.

"Your nose, Does it hurt now?" Huang reached around his pockets and pulled out a small pouch filled with his master's balm, "My master gave me a balm that is good for pain relief, would you like some?"

Kyung chuckled at the other's words. Huang-Fu had misunderstood him, however, it was to be expected. Kyung's father was not a man that followed norms.

"I was not kept home due to reasons which you suspect Huang-Fu. My father is a selfish man. He has a complex when it comes to me. I've been sheltered my whole life and not for the better. Seeing that much blood down the front of my robes, it was enough to convince him that the world is too dangerous for me. I detest him and his way of thinking...."

Fumbling with the sleeves of his robes, he lifted his head up when he heard Huang-Fu's offer. "Is it by any chance tiger balm?" There was a hint of humor in the boy's voice. Tiger balm, a strange medicine that the nobles believed to to be a panacea. "If so, i have my own. But, if not, I wouldn't mind trying it."

Reaching up, he touched his nose gingerly and winced. Still sore, still painful. He'd have to apply the balm himself. It wasn't a problem, just a nuisance given how swollen the bridge of his nose was and the bruises under his eyes. He looked terrible, but still attractive in a twisted way.

Huang cocked his head to the left on his side of the tree, trying to understand the situation of what K was trying to describe. To be locked in, wasn't it another form of treatment much like Huang received? And Huang's older brother? It was any surprise that K had even been allowed outside of his home even now!

"He sounds like my mother in a sense..."
Huang shrugged, "She is very complex about my brother, much like your father is about you. My brother Yearns for freedom, to be able to move and do as he please..." Huang paused before getting up, reaching into his pocket for the balm, "Much like i wish for freedom, in much of a sense much like you wish for freedom." Huang came around the tree keeping a stoic expression on.

"I am too loyal to break the folds in me to break into freedom." Huang stopped, his eyes closed before opening them, his adviser now reveled to him, his hand out held the balm which now dropped to the ground.

"YOU!" Huang stoic face now overcome in shock.

Kyung had opened his mouth to respond, however, the words died in his throat when he saw just who he had been talking with for the past several minutes. The very same Legionnaire he had been talking to Huang about, the young man who had broken his nose.

The cobalt Lunarian was shaking in his seat. Anger? Fear? Neither. He was shaking with silent laughter at the irony of the situation. The goddess had a twisted way of dealing with his fate. And it seemed today was no exception. It was almost like a very very bad play.

As he regained control over himself, he gazed at Huang with gently smoldering eyes. "I could say the same..." Lowering his eyes, he raised his hands to his face to cover the dark green bruise that had blossomed under his eyes along with the swollen bridge of his nose. "It's not as quite as severe as it looks you know." He muttered to himself, unsure of how to handle the situation.

If anything, he felt conflicted inside. He had seen both faces on the coin called Huang. A choice was to be made. Had Kyung been like any other Lunarian of the noble alliance, it would have been an easy decision. A stomp on Huang's foot and a return trip home. However, Kyung did not base decisions on alliance. A troublesome matter indeed. "If you're going to hit me again, I'm going to ask you refrain from punching me in the nose again." It wasn't laced with sarcasm but rather it was a like joking tone. He was trying his best to ease the situation into a more comfortable.

Though he was hoping that Huang wouldn't hit him at all. "Judging from the silence... I'm going to assume you're impressed by my looks." Another lame attempt at trying to get the Legionnaire to smile.
PostPosted: Tue Jul 20, 2010 1:48 pm

Huang wasn't sure what to do. Here now was the same Lunarian who he had gotten in a tussle with not even a week from ago, and not only that but the one who he had grown to like from his side of the tree. Though his stomach was clenched in knots, he could only slide weakly next to the other boy.

"I..." Huang frowned reaching for the balm he had dropped while trying to loosen his tongue from his mouth. He had punched this man, who he had considered someone special, he could still see the blossomed bruise on K's face and instantly felt guilty.

Holding out the balm, Huang took a deep breath, "Do you want me to apply it?" Huang wanted nothing more then to run away and forget he had ever met the complicated mess he now found himself in. But he was loyal, if not a bit attracted to K.

"I won't hit you again..." Huang looked down in shame, "I....apologize for my behavior." He knew that wouldn't make up for it, but if not that, then what?

Huang cracked a small tiny grin, K hadn't been harsh to him? Maybe in a sense a bit of forgiveness laced K's words. He knew K was a noble, and Huang should hate him for that alone, if not for their encounter before. But he couldn't, K was just as surprised had he had been and even more so was trying to make Huang at ease.

"So K, What would your father think of you talking to your attacker now?" Huang tried to joke but his face was bland and stoic again.

Kyung was unsure of how to answer the legionnaire's question regarding the application of the balm. To refuse the offer might make it look as though Kyung held a feeling of distrust against the male yet to accept also meant him whimpering every time Huang pressed down too hard which might make it seem as though Kyung was anticipating for Huang to harm him any second. In the end, he decided on the latter. He trusted Huang and Huang trusted him. Right?

He lowered his hand and took a deep breath to calm himself. "Since you asked, yes... you may apply it Huang-Fu." When Huang-Fu spoke once more, his words laced with humility, the Noble retainer couldn't help but smile the slightest. "You speak words that are unnecessary and promise something that cannot be kept. When I deserve to be hit, you should hit me. You are not the only who should be apologizing, my behavior was also outrageous that day." Why did he speak such words to the legionnaire? Any other person and the cobalt Lunarian would have given them a chilling glare followed by a curt You better.

Despite being mildly annoyed at himself over this sudden behavioral change when talking to Huang, he forgot it all when he heard Huang's next question. The pale Lunarian's face darkened and showed an expression of open hostility. "My father would never allow for me to leave the estate grounds again. Secondly, he would do everything in his power to find out just whose child you are so he can blackmail you into staying away." Kyung paused for a minute. "I just realized... you, you have been calling me K the whole time. My name, it's Tae Kyung. I am the b*****d child of the Tae family."

It was a challenge almost. A test even. Did Huang-Fu dare to continue this... 'friendship' despite knowing the fact that Kyung was not only a noble retainer but a b*****d child? "I do not like surprises... I hope you do not mind if I suddenly throw down all my cards at once."

Huang wasn't sure why he was even doing this. Here he was, a known hater of the nobles side regardless of whatever their situation, hesitating as he spread a bit of balm on his hands to help heal a said noble. It was confusing, alluring and downright scary, Huang thought. He was known to have no weakness, to be harsh and cold to any noble he had ever met. Yet this one, This had been different.

Huang did his best to gently press the balm into the other boy's skin, his touch was like feather brushing over it. "Regardless of that, It was inexcusable and i have marred a very attractive face and caused a lot of pain." Huang shook his head, Why was he trying to justify his apology? Why was he apologizing again...Why was K apologizing? Huang was thrown off of his usual behavior and his conversations with K in the past suddenly resurfaced, Naive....Huang could've only thought of that now.

"Ahhh...." Huang cringed a bit and understood now Kyung's problems, his tone had said as much and Huang knew he had gone to far now, "Your father is very...protective of you." Huang paused now and a little shudder before passing it off, he feared no nobles! Regardless..."There is not much to blackmail on, i do not exist, well not anymore technically." Huang shrugged and didn't elaborate on his meaning.

He resumed his balm spread before stopping and rubbing his hand on his pants. Kyung, It was a interesting name and fit much better then K, He liked the way it sounded in his head.

"I am sorry, but i do not know what b*****d child means?" In truth Huang had no idea what Kyung was saying to him, why would he care what kind of child he is, "Well, I am the Third son of the Lee family, Also known as the Dark Knight Assassin and loyal dog to the emperor and the Lee's oldest son." Huang shrugged, "I am not ashamed of your birth Kyung, because you are here with me now." Huang's face turned red and he shied away, his heart was pounding a bit too fast and he was moving to fast.

Kyung flinched ever so gently when Huang's finger came in contact with his nose, slowly relaxing as the legionnaire's finger moved across it lightly. If he closed his eyes, then he would have mistaken it for a falling petal. He smiled ever so gently under Huang's fingers. A smile from Kyung, unheard of. "You flatter me, Huang." Though he smiled to the legionnaire, inside there was turmoil. It was the fact that he was here talking and smiling to another person. It didn't bother him that Huang was a supporter of the Emperor, no, it bothered him that he was trusting this person. This person he had only met two times before.

He looked at Huang carefully. What did those words mean? I do not exist, well not anymore technically. It was like how he was living only... different. So similar yet so different. Kyung did not exist in certain parts of the Tae estate and to the other noble familes. But, outside that, he was still alive. People acknowledged his existence, knew his past, knew HIM.

Seeing the legionnaire pass over the subject, Kyung did not inquire further. If Huang did not wish to elaborate, it was his choice. The cobalt Lunarian's face darkened at Huang's comment, glad that the male had pulled his hand back. Was the other boy messing around with him?

He thought against it, recalling a past discussion on where he had called Huang naive. This only seemed to reinforce his choice in word. "Huang, a b*****d child is one born between an unmarried couple." It was said barely above a whisper, almost as if the cobalt Lunarian was just coming to terms with it as well. "I am the illegitimate child born between a high standing noble and a woman of nomadic origi-" the word died in his throat as he heard Huang's words.

I am not ashamed of your birth Kyung, because you are here with me now.

He stared at Huang unsure of how to react. Becoming flustered himself when the other boy flushed and averted his eyes to hide the color on his cheeks. Yes. He was at a loss for words.

Kyung stared dumbfounded.

Huang snorted as his hand pulled away now, content that Kyung's nose was now covered with a light layer of the balm, hopefully it would help the unnatural discolorization that Kyung suffered from, and to help ease Huang's guilt.

"I only speak the truth,"
Huang shrugged, it was nice to see the other boy smile, regardless of his nobility. Oddly enough, being with Kyung, Huang saw him as a person and not the alliance he had aligned himself with. He could tell though by the other boys quietness that he was probably thinking to himself of what Huang said, and that was fine as well. Huang wasn't sure how to explain his situation and what he meant, unless Kyung had seen the way he had grown up and had been treated in his family, putting the balm away in his sack, he slid closer to the trunk of the tree so that his back rested on it like Kyung's did, sitting next to him.

Cocking his head curiously, he pursued his lips close and thought deeply, "So you call yourself a b*****d child because your parents we're not married?" Huang shook his head, he had heard of those type of situations, among the lower social ladder of the class, but among the more Higher Class, it was a distasteful act though he had never heard of the vulgar name applied to it. Huang felt for his new friend, it was unfair for him to pay for his parents mistake, if it was a mistake, "Well regardless of your birth, do not call yourself that name anymore, you do not need to add b*****d to your title, You are Tae Kyung of the Tae family and that is all that means." Huang frowned, crossing his arms, turning his head and gave Kyung a weird bland kinda of stare, as if to say challenge his logic.

He waited for a witty response from the other boy, when none came he frowned and leaned forward, staring at the other boy in the eye's.

"Kyung....Are you feeling alright? I didn't mean to offend you..." Huang panicked, maybe Kyung had finally changed his mind about Huang, maybe he had come to his senses and actually hated Huang. It was nerve wracking, his heart was pounding even faster at the thought that Kyung could possibly hate him. Which he still hadn't figured out why that was...

Kyung was deep in thought and only noticed the Legionnaire had moved after the warmth that emanated from his left side. He looked at Huang through long, thick lashes, his silvery orbs locking eyes with Huang.

"I am Tae Kyung. Yes... but I am not really a part of the Tae family and yet I am. I am like the dog that lives in the streets, unwanted by anyone who lays eyes on it." He became silent, realizing he had said too much. Just like how his father was the reigning Governor of the Mojin district, he was the b*****d child of the Tae family. It was a part of who he was, something that could not be tossed away so simply. The same title that shackled him to this family yet offered him freedom as well.

He flushed and pulled back when Huang leaned in. He could feel the boy's breathing. And he didn't pull back because he didn't like it, he pulled back out of shock as to how loudly his heart jumped in his chest. "No... not offended." He murmured the words, looking away to avoid the young man's eyes.

He was befuddled. He disliked the way he felt around Huang. He floundered for words, flushed at the slightest attention and most important, wanted the other boy to touch him again. The way he had gently brushed the tips of his fingers across his nose, like the wind kissing his face. He flushed deeper at the image. He felt like a fool. No, he felt like a teenage girl. It irritated him more than it upset him.
PostPosted: Sat Aug 07, 2010 11:19 pm

Huang slightly flushed as their eyes locked together and looked down instead, trying to sort through his feelings as he sat next to Kyung.

"That is ridiculous, I have laid eyes upon you and wanted you!" Huang burst out angrily, he would've turned and shook the boy if it didn't dawn on him what he had just said. His flush had become a huge blush. He could now confirm what this feeling was, attraction and it was deep. He had turned him this way, since he had fallen for Jianyu, he thought his heart would be hard to sway, but here he sat now with Kyung, and his heart beat faster and harder then it ever did for Jianyu, "Do not think so little of yourself is all i mean, There must people in your family, that care for you deeply and consider you some kind of kin to them." Huang sighed as he sat back now.

"Oh well that's good." Huang smiled a small smile to himself, it was good to know that he hadn't yet offended the other boy though he was bound to do it one way or another. He looked over at Kyung again and cocked his head in a worried but curious expression. Kyung look to have a internal debate or something within himself, or he was very deep in thought.

"If you are not offended, then why does your expression read that you are angry?"
Huang rubbed his cheeks in confusion, he just wanted the boy to smile again, give him some hope that Kyung actually still enjoyed his company and might keep him around. He felt like he was on the footing of losing all the ground he had covered with other Lunarian.

The cobalt Lunarian's face became an expressionless mask at the other boy's words. The sentence echoed in his mind and bounced around, growing larger.

No, he wasn't angry. Not irritated, he felt betrayed. He had sought a friend in Huang-Fu and now it seemed their past discussion here had degenerated into nothing. Huang-Fu was only concerned with him, Kyung, because of his appearance. Perhaps, he shouldn't have come today. He could feel a dangerous tide of cruel words swelling inside him. They threatened to break out, wash away Huang in a tempest of verbal violence. Words dripping with sarcasm and malice.

He lowered his head and let out a laugh. It was cold and empty. It was frightening. And yet, it seemed to come so naturally to the cobalt Lunarian. Almost as if, this was what he really was. "You laid eyes on me and wanted me?" It was said mockingly. He stood up and looked down at Huang. His silver orbs were narrowed to slits, they were piercing but not as much as what Kyung said next. "I am not a piece of meat for you to ravage. I am my own person. I was under the impression you were genuinely interested in being my friend but it seems I was a fool. You had no such interest, your only ulterior motive was physical attraction." He did not need to take this kind of treatment from Huang-Fu.

"How thoughtless of me to expect more from a Legionnaire." Kyung actually scoffed and crossed his arms across his chest. The dam had broken loose. Kyung had no intention of being well mannered with Huang-Fu now. He would run down the young man in a tirade of words so quickly that the legionnaire's head would spin.

In the end, they were all the same. No one could be trusted. Not his family, his father, or Huang-Fu. He did not need any of them.
