GrassPaw hid beneath the purple bushesh at the edge of camp. Trying not to get spotted by anyone and see if he could get away from training today.

Songheart looked around for Grasspaw. Where is the little runt now? she thought. She scented the air and padded over to a bush. "I see you, my friend."
Cloudheart padded out of her den. The sun shone on her pelt as she spotted Songheart over at the bush. Grasspaw again... she thought.

Ravenstar padded out of his den, and looked around the camp. He waved his tail in greeting to Cloudheart, then noticed Songheart near a bush. He padded over, and saw Grasspaw. "Whats going on?" he asked.

"Grasspaw's...training." Songheart lied. "I told him to hide well and disguise his scent and I was supposed to find him." She felt bad lieing to Ravenstar, but she didn't want the apprentice to get into trouble.

"Well, he'll have hide better then that next time, I could smell him from across the camp." Ravenstar meowed looking at the apprentice. Then he turned and padded away toward the fresh kill pile.

" Ouch!" Howled GrassPaw as a bee stung his tail he ran out of the bushes and scudded to a halt in front of SongHeart. " Oh um..." He said as his mentor looked down at him.

Ravenstar finished a mouse in a few famished bites, then padded toward the highrock. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here for a clan meeting" he called to his clan.

Songheart shook her head, "I don't want to hear it. Ravenstar's calling a clan meeting." She walked away and sat down in the clearing.

Ravenstar waited until the whole clan had gathered, then began the meeting. "As you already know, there is a gathering tonight. I have decided to bring Songheart, Cloudheart, and Grasspaw. Tonight we will introduce ourselves to the other clans, Thunderclan, Windclan, Riverclan, and Shadowclan. Aquaclan well be there as well." he added.

GrassPaws eyes widened as he heard the news. HeatherClan was going to introduce them selves today and he was going to be there!

Songheart nodded. She was nervous. What if Heatherclan wasn't excepted? Would the other clans drive them out again?
Cloudheart nodded. Hopefully the other 4 clans will understand our situation. Then they will realize that Starclan wants us here as well.

Brackenstorm sat in the camp after the gathering. He purred thinking about his date.

Ravenstar led Heatherclan into camp and settled down under a tree. Thank goodness...they let us stay.
Songheart padded into the warriors den and began to groom herself. "Well...that was fun..." she sighed outloud.
Cloudheart eyed Brackenstorm oddly, "Why are you so excited?" Sure the clan had been accepted, but he looked far too happy.

Brackenstorm looked up. "No reason. I am just glad they accepted us and we have a nice place to stay." It was only part of the truth, but it still was truth.
