Alright, this app is for multiple things, some of the things I haven't actually submitted as a custom yet. If I have a custom app without an rp sample, look here and it will probably be mentioned.

Name: Lance Fulgurant
RPC Name: Zaphnir Rodalein
Position(s) Applying For: Ghost and Mech Ace of the Alliance
RP Sample:

All was quiet as Zaphnir traveled through the recesses of deep space on his way to Allitaera. The Alliance had acquired reports of a scientific instillation on the surface of the core world, his job was to perform reconnaissance to find out how many men had been stationed at the base, and plant reconnaissance devices to relay information back to the Alliance. The Dialga raced through the blackness of space, the high density electron particles that clung to it's armor plating rendering it almost totally invisible. The Empire had a token force surrounding the planet, a force that the Dialga easily slipped past.

Zaph located the base easily enough, the co-ordinates that Allister had acquired were spot on. Zaph quickly found a place to set down in a deep gully, the Dialga quickly transforming to take the form of a large humanoid shaped Mobile Armor, wings protruding from it's back giving it an almost angel-like appearance. The Old republic had seemed to design almost all of the Exflows to look like Guardians, unfortunately not even these titans were capable of saving the Republic from the rise of the Holy Bloodline.

Landing as softly as he possibly could, Zaph then opened up the cockpit and hopped out, landing on the rocky surface of the planet with hardly a sound. Looking around, Zaph quickly scanned the area to make sure he was the only one there. A breeze swept through the gully, kicking up sand in great wisps, an eerie howling sound filling the gully. Zaphnir lifted a hand to the visor of his helmet, causing the HUD of the visor to flash red for a moment as it switched to thermal vision. Quickly scanning the area for heat signatures, Zaph determined that he was indeed alone. Pressing yet another button located on the stiff collar of his suit, Zaph caused his helmet and visor to retract in sheets to the back of his Ghost Suit.

Stretching his neck and taking in a deep breath, Zaph was pleased to finally get the chance to move about. Clicking yet another button located on the right wrist guard of his Ghost Suit, Zaph activated the Dialga’s cloaking device so that no one would just happen upon it accidentally. Zaph then began making his way up the rock face of the gully, using folocremy to help speed up his progress. Even with the use of folocremy it took a good thirty minutes before Zaphnir made it to the top. Pulling a device off of his waist, Zaph pressed a button before palming the device and holding it so that it was facing towards the sky. The spherical center of the device shot up several hundred feet into the air, and rotated slowly before falling back down to land perfectly in place. The device had in fact used a special scanner that used advanced sonar technology to get a lay of the land.

Zaph smiled to himself as a small hologram of the surrounding one-hundred square miles appeared before his eyes. Using the map he was able to determine that the research facility was roughly two miles from his current location; with any luck he would make it there by dawn, and he could then hide out for the day in one of the caves that the sonar had picked up near the facility. It would be much easier to set up the surveillance devices at night, his Ghost Suit would give him all the cover he’d need. De-activating the device, Zaph placed it back on his waist before turning to the northeast and making his way towards the facility, the howling wind whipping his long black hair around his face as he trudged through the desert.

After a few hours Zaphnir was within sight of the facility, pressing the button on his collar once more, he caused the helm and visor to slide back up over his face before pressing another button on his wrist guard that activated the cloaking device of the Ghost Suit. He didn’t know what kind of detection devices the facility had, but he was never one to take chances. Looking across the desert Zaph quickly spotted the series of caves he had seen on the map, turning towards them Zaph made his way towards the sanctuary.

Arriving at the cave just as the dawn sun appeared over the horizon, Zaph slung his pack to the side of the cave as he began setting up his impromptu camp. Pulling out one of the MRE’s he had brought with him, Zaph set it aside before pulling out his bedroll and setting it aside. Leaning up against the wall, using his pack as a cushion, Zaph pulled out the VI-recorder with his mission details, no harm in going back over the information. Pressing the play button, Zaph set the device in front of him before taking the MRE snapping the containers in the bottom which would cause the meal to begin heating up. Setting the meal aside, Zaph then watched as a replica of Xeon appeared in front of him, even wearing that same annoyingly serene expression that the real Xeon always seemed to wear.

“I suppose you want to go back over the mission details?”, the Xeon VI asked calmly.

“How’d you ever guess?”, Zaph replied sarcastically, “So what do we know?”

“Not much, I’m afraid. This information was happened upon by chance, it’s amazing we got as much as we did”, the VI replied. Walking about the cave with it’s arms crossed behind it’s back, the Xeon VI began pacing, much like the real Xeon tended to do, as it continued, “What we do know is that the Empire has put in a lot of effort to keep us from finding out about this facility, again it’s amazing we got what little we did. We also know that some of the brightest minds in the Empire, hell maybe even the whole Galaxy, are working on the project, and most of the researchers aren’t known for their scientific discoveries in agriculture. Though on an interesting note, Dr. Jorman Leo-“

“Sir, no disrespect intended, but I really couldn’t care less about Dr. Who Gives a s**t. I want to know what kind of resistance I can expect”, Zaph said quickly, cutting off the VI before it could go off on a tangent. Damn Jerad and his overly authentic VI’s, honestly does the VI have to have the same quirks as the people they’re copying? Picking up the MRE, which by now had warmed up sufficiently, Zaph removed the fork from the pouch on the back and opened it up, steam rising out of the bag as he did so. Taking a whiff of the meal, Zaph’s nostrils were filled with the scent of roast beef, green beans, and rice. Of course as he looked at the contents of the bag he let out a sigh, no matter how good they smelled the MRE’s always looked like mush. Shrugging, Zaph began shoveling the food into his mouth as he waited for the VI to continue.

The VI looked slightly put off that it hadn’t gotten to finish it’s… thought? But it quickly recovered and continued, “Alright, as I was saying whatever these scientists are researching it’s big, and in all likelihood it’s dangerous. From what we can tell, however, security is relatively light, probably trying to keep us from taking notice, and of course if we hadn’t intercepted the communication it would have worked. From what we can tell you shouldn’t have to worry about more than maybe five-hundred personnel, not including the researchers and non-combatants.”

Zaph nearly choked on the bit of meat he had just shoved in his mouth. Pounding on his chest, Zaph forced the chunk of food down before turning eyes filled with anger on the VI, “FIVE-HUNDRED! Why didn’t you mention when I got the first briefing! This isn’t a job for one person, I should have my whole team with me on this one! How the hell is five-hundred men “light-security”!”

The VI winced a bit at the clear rage that Zaphnir was showing. “I thought this might be your reaction, which is why I withheld the information. Before you start yelling again let me tell you why we sent only you. This mission requires stealth, not power. We don’t want you to go in guns a-blazing, we need you to find out what you can about the project, and if possible steal their research. We are leaving it up to your discretion as to whether or not destruction of the facility is necessary, but the priority of this mission is to recover data.”

Zaph clenched his fist as he closed his eyes, gritting his teeth as he tried to regain control of himself. Opening his eyes once more, he said through gritted teeth, “this isn’t even close to what I was told the mission was. DAMNIT XEON, I’M NOT JUST SOME PUPPET YOU CAN JERK AROUND!”

The Xeon VI looked away from Zaph, a look of sadness clouding his features. “I’m sorry Zaph, I know that I should have informed you before you left, but we wanted to keep this a secret. We knew that you would tell your squad what you were doing, and we simply couldn’t take the risk of the information getting out. I wouldn’t ask this of you if I didn’t think you could do it, Zaph.”

Zaph continued to stare at the VI for several minutes before finally shaking his head with a sigh. He couldn’t bring himself to stay mad at Xeon, even if it was just an imitation. If it hadn’t been for him, Zaph knew the Alliance wouldn’t have made it this far. He knew that he wouldn’t have made it this far. “Alright… are there any other surprises I should be aware of?”

Seeming to recover almost instantly, the VI looked back towards Zaph, a huge smile spread across its face, “Nope, that just about covers it!”

Sighing once more, Zaphnire then said, “Good, then I’m going to sleep, I guess I’ll see the real you when I’m done.” With that Zaph picked up the VI-recorder and turned it off. Walking out of the cave, Zaph set down several thermal detection nodes, making a criss-crossing pattern. He set them so that the alarm would sound through his head-set rather than from the devices himself. If any patrols did pass by the cave, he didn’t want to alert them to his presence, but he also couldn’t risk being caught un-aware. Walking back into the cover of the cave, Zaph rolled out his regulated bed-roll and slipped in. Immediately the regulator began shifting the temperature of the bed-roll so that it would remain at a constant one-hundred degrees Fahrenheit, just slightly above core temperature to keep him warm, but not hot. Zaph closed his eyes and within minutes he fell asleep.

Zaphnir awoke several hours later to a ringing noise in his ear. Snapping his eyes open, Zaph quickly and silently slid out of his bedroll. Looking towards the cave entrance, Zaph could see that it was beginning to darken but it was still a few hours till night-fall. Grabbing his bedroll and his pack, he moved them further back into the cave so that they would go unnoticed in the shadows. Pushing the button to activate the cloaking function of his ghost suit, Zaph disappeared from sight just as two imperial guards appeared at the entrance of the cave, both wearing protective cloth wrapped around their faces, covering all but their eyes, which were covered by visor like glasses. The cloth protected their faces from the harsh sun and blowing sand of the desert environment, and also had the added affect of helping to keep their heads cool oddly enough.

“I could have sworn I heard something”, one of them said as he stepped into the cave. He was tall, and he carried a blaster along with a cordium blade sheathed at his waist. The second one stepped in after him, similarly armed though his blaster had a scope on it, clearly this man was a marksman.

“I would have seen if there was anything over hear, Jet, let’s go ahead and turn back. It’s right about dinner time, and I hear that the cooks are making something special for our “honored guest.” If we hurry we might even be able to sneak a bite”, the second soldier said, a ring of self-assurance clear in his voice. He didn’t even notice as Zaph snuck behind him and drew his own cordium blade from the sheath on his waist.

The first man turned just in time to see as the blade plunged through the man’s heart. The second soldier reached up to grab the blade, clearly shocked that his life was ending. Zaph appeared moments later, his visor hiding his face, though it wouldn’t have mattered if the soldier had seen. Before the man could do more than lift his gun, Zaph had rushed forward, placing his hand on the man’s face as he focused folocremic energy through his arm, amplifying the natural electric current that flowed through his arm to focusing it into the palm of his sand. Releasing the built up energy, Zaph sent a bolt of electricity through the man’s head, killing him instantly.

Turning towards his first victim, Zaph saw that he had fallen to his knees, but he was amazingly still alive, though blood was running freely from his mouth, and the cordium blade was still protruding grotesquely from his torso. Walking behind the dying man, Zaphnir grabbed the hilt of the blade while he place his right foot on the man’s back. Pushing with his foot and pulling with his arm, Zaphnir wrenched the blade free in a spray of fine red mist. The man’s eyes then rolled into the back of his head as he fell forward, his body hitting the ground with a thump. Zaph stared at the corpse for several moments, the faces of the men he’d killed flashing before his eyes.

Shaking his head, he then wiped the blade on the man’s pants before sheathing his blade once more. Walking over to the Blaster the man had dropped, Zaph slung it over his shoulder before walking out of the cave. He had to move now, it wouldn’t take long before the men’s superior officers would start to wonder what had happened to these two. Activating the cloak function Zaph made his way quickly towards the research facility, his face set in a determined grimace beneath his visor.

Zaphnir moved quickly and quietly towards the eastern facing wall of the complex, careful to remain unseen as he jumped the thirty feet to the top, using folocremy to give himself the extra boost. Landing in a crouch, Zaph scanned the compound with the infrared function of his visor. The majority of the guards were stationed at the entrance to the compound, a few of them patrolling the walls, while only a few were posted by a door leading into the facility. It looked like he had come during meal time as he saw that a large number of heat signatures milling about in a nearby building.

Dropping down silently to the ground, Zaph made his way towards the door he had noticed earlier. When he was within one-hundred yards of the two soldiers, Zaph reached out with folocremic energy to bust a window a few yards from where the guards were standing. Dutifully both guards walked over to see what had happened, muttering about the injustice of getting stuck with guard duty during meal time. Zaph quickly walked over and opened the door just enough so that he could slip in, and then closed it silently before the guards could notice. Turning to look around the hall he had just entered, Zaph was surprised to see so many men in white coats milling about, whatever the Empire was working on, they were putting a lot of effort into it.

Moving quickly down the hall, his Ghost Suit making him nearly invisible, Zaph snuck past the scientists and patrolling guards, making sure to step from toe to heel to keep his foot-steps as silent as possible. After a few minutes of searching he came to a large door, a sign above the door read “Server Room B”. Pressing his ear up to the door, Zaphnir could hear what sounded like huge fans along with some beeps and whistles. Opening the door as slowly as possible, Zaph saw that there was only one scientist remaining in the room, busily going over and entering data. Creeping up slowly behind the man, Zaph lifted his hand and slammed it into the base of the man’s skull, knocking him out cold.

Taking the datapad from his hip, Zaph plugged it directly into the mainframe and began sifting through files, looking for anything that would tell him what was going on here. He typed away at the keyboard, his fingers moving with the practiced speed that could only come from experience hacking encrypted files, just another skill he had picked up as an agent of Ghost Division. After a few moments Zaph found what he was looking for and began downloading the information onto his datapad. The progress bar seemed to move excruciatingly slow as it transferred the data files Zaph had come here for. At fifty percent Zaph heard the door creek open. Acting quickly, Zaph activated his ghost suit and slunk into the nearby shadows.

A man wearing glasses and a long white lab coat walked in, his attention focused on a clipboard in his hands, flipping back and forth between two sheets of paper as he mumbled to himself about skewed results. Behind the scientist was a second man, his face hidden behind the shadows of the black hood of his cloak, which hid most of the rest of his body save for the lower half of his legs. As the scientist walked to a computer and began inputting data, yapping away about how much progress they were making, the hooded figure scanned the room, sniffing at the air as if he were a dog searching for a scent. The figure stopped, his hood looking right at Zaph despite the fact that the ghost suit rendered him completely invisible. “Silence… we are not alone…”, the figure said, his voice cold, almost dead sounding. Zaphnir didn’t know what this man was capable of, but he didn’t want to find out, looking down at the data-pad Zaph cursed silently, it still had fifteen percent to go.

The man began walking towards Zaph, his hands moving under the folds of his cloak. There was no time to move, Zaph would just have to kill him and the scientist as well, with any luck, no one outside would hear. Focusing on the electrical impulses that ran all through his body, Zaphnir amplified them and then redirected them to his arm, electricity arcing around his arm visibly. The figure stopped at the sight, just meters away as Zaph lifted his hand and released the energy, sending a bolt of electricity streaming towards the man. In blindingly fast motion, the hooded figure threw up his hands defensively. Zaph had just enough time to think to himself, fool, before… the bolt stopped? Just inches from the man’s torso the electricity stopped as if it had hit an unseen barrier. Zaph’s eyes widened, a folocremist!, he thought to himself as the cloak fell, the electric current, having short-circuited the Ghost suit.

The scientist turned around as the bolt struck the barrier with a deafening sound that could only be described as a clap of thunder. So much for taking them out quietly, Zaph thought to himself as the scientist ran towards the door at the same time that the hooded folocremist rushed forward, drawing two cordium short blades from sheaths at his waist. Zaph had just enough time to draw his own blade and block the assailant’s weapons from stabbing him through the chest. Now in a deadlock the folocremist kicked out with his right leg, catching Zaph in the gut and knocking the wind out of him. As he stumbled backwards, trying to catch his breath, Zaph threw his left hand out, power welling up deep within him and then bursting out in blast of folocremic energy.

The folocremist struggled for a moment, focusing all his will on absorbing the blast with his own folocremic barrier, but Zaphnir had been trained by one of the greatest folcremists ever known. The man might as well have tried to stop the tide of the ocean with a wall of sand. The imperial folcremist flew backwards, but with a quick twist of his body he managed to turn himself so that his feet were facing the wall. Bending his knees to absorb the and lessen the impact, the man’s feet touched the surface of the wall and the immediately pushed off, holding his cordium blades ahead of him as he spun the air. Zaphnir’s eyes widened as he continued to fall backwards, and it was all he could to to roll out of the way as the folocremist sailed over him, only to land on his feet several feet behind Zaph.

Rolling to his feet, Zaph turned to face his opponent, his eyes cold and serious, this man was no ordinary soldier, no ordinary folocremist. Zaphnir had met few folocremist’s who could compete with him not only on the mental level of folocremy but on a physical level as well. Zaph knew of few Imperial’s that were so well rounded, and this was no Tsionic Knight… One of the fingers…, Zaph thought to himself as he lifted his blade up to point at this most deadly of opponents, his eyes narrowing as he readied himself for whatever came nest. The hooded figure stood there for a long moment, his breathing sounding raspy and labored.
So… you are the Storm Bringer… Zaphnir Rodalein. My brothers and I have hunted you for many moons now…, the hooded figure rasped in a voice as cold and piercing as an arctic wind.

Zaph’s lip curled up into a half smile and let out a short chuckle at the remark before saying in a callous voice, “enough talk, if you’re going to try and kill me just do it already…” A raspy hacking noise sounded from the shadows of the man’s hood, the sound sent shivers up Zaph’s spine and it took him a moment to realize the man was laughing.

”Well, then not once to mince words I see, very well then, let us not wast our time with senseless banter. After all the quicker I kill you, the quicker I can get back to doing something worth my time…” With that the man rushed forward, bringing his blades in at different angles, one coming high to strike at Zaph’s jugular while the other came in low to pierce through his gut. Zaph could see that his opponent had left his chest exposed, it was an opening that just begged to be exploited, but Zaph knew better than to believe that the man would unknowingly leave his chest so clearly vulnerable. Taking a step back Zaphnir prepared himself to try something he had never before attempted, it would either give him the edge he needed to defeat his opponent… or it could kill him.

Zaph tapped into the part of his brains that controlled the electrical impulses used to control his muscles, and the nerve links that sent those messages to his muscles. Amplifying the electrical impulses of his neural pathways, Zaph began to build up electrical energy. Just as Zaph’s opponent was moving in for the kill, Zaph released the pent up energy in one sudden burst, electrical energy flowing through his nerves in sudden rush and then saturating his muscles. Just as the man’s blades were inches from Zaph’s body, Zaph disappeared. Looking around the member of the black hand’s head moved on a swivel of a few seconds before he looked up… just in time to see Zaphnir’s blade coming down to strike at the man’s now exposed neck.

------------------------------------------------------------------

“MOVE, MOVE, MOVE!!!”, Zaph could hear one of the commanders giving orders behind him in the direction of the server room. As Zaph moved down the corridors, his ghost suit once again making him nearly invisible to all but the most observant eye, his breathing was heavy from the exertion of pushing his muscles to the brink. Moving as quickly and silently as his exhausted body would allow, Zaph continued through the complex, looking for some way out so that he could get off this forsaken planet. As he rounded another corner, Zaph nearly ran into several soldiers as they made there way through the building, each of them carrying a blaster rifle.

Pressing himself up against the wall, Zaphnir managed to slip past the soldiers, but as he continued to move through the long hallway, he could hear yet another group of soldiers coming from the opposite direction. Moving quickly, Zaph pushed through a set of double doors to find himself on a high platform overlooking the floor of what looked to be an assembly line. Moving slowly along the rafters, he could see what looked to be huge metal limbs moving steadily down the line while machines moved about welding pieces on and inserting various parts. Zaphnir’s eyes narrowed as he continued along, coming to yet another door leading to a separate room.

As he stepped inside, Zaph’s eyes widened in surprise and his limbs turned to jelly as he fell to his knees. Inside the large room were nearly one-hundred combat armors, enough to take control of a planet with little resistance. Further down the line, Zaphnir could see that one of them was already being tested, and from the looks of it, it was functioning near perfectly.

The Empire was moving more quickly than they had expected, but no, even if they had been working on it sense the evacuation of earth, there was no way they could have managed to build this many functioning combat armors. Even being able to break down and reverse engineer a working model, it had taken the Alliance researchers more than half a year to develop the technology to build their own. No, somehow the Empire was getting a help, someone had betrayed the Alliance. Zaphnir clenched his jaw as his hands tightened into fists. Rising to his feet, Zaphnir rushed across the platform, pulling out a small transmitter from his belt. Subtlety was of little importance now, the facility had to be destroyed before those armors could be used against the Alliance.

As he pressed the button on the transmitter, a signal shot across the desert towards the dormant Dialga. Then the eyes of the huge humanoid Machine flashed to life, becoming to huge bright white lights. Rising to its feet the Dialga pushed off and shot into the sky, heading towards the base.

Zaph continued through the large factory complex, moving quickly so that he could be outside when the Dialga arrived. After a few minutes and a few close calls with a few patrols, Zaphnir finally found an exit. As he stepped out into the cool night air of Allitaera Zaph rushed towards a nearby wall and vaulted up, using a burst of folocremic energy to give him the extra boost he need to reach the top. Looking over the horizon, Zaph’s lip curled into the hint of a smile. The Dialga’s white eyes could already be seen as it flew across the open desert. Within seconds an alarm sounded as the bases lookouts spotted the huge metal behemoth, men moving quickly to their positions, not realizing that any resistance they could muster would be useless against the Dialga.

A rain of Anti-Air fire soared towards the Dialga, but the ordinance was all but useless against this most powerful of Combat Armors. The Dialga continued forward unhindered by the efforts of the Imperials. A few moments after being spotted the Dialga made it to the factory and touched down right in front of Zaphnir, and immediately a hatch in the chest opened up to reveal the c**k-pit. Jumping forward, Zaph crossed the gap with ease and slid into the pilot’s seat, the hatch closing quickly behind him. The HUD came to life as Zaphnir placed his hands on the controls, the helmet of his ghost suit retracting into the collar of the suit as he readied himself to move.

Grinning to himself, Zaphnir took off, causing sand to go flying about as he rose into the air with unrivaled speed in his mad dash to gain altitude. Once he was high above the facility, Zaphnir activated the twin lightning cannons, causing them to swing over from the back and face forward. With the press of a switch, a glow began to form inside the barrels as they charged for the attack, a process which only took a few short seconds. Just before the cannons discharged, the whole planet seemed to grow completely silent, and then with a roar louder than any thunder, the cannons fired. Two beams of pure condensed electron particles shot down at the factory, electricity jumping off and arcing all around the beams as they traveled down to the surface.

In a flash of light the beams struck home, in the dead center of the factory complex. The energy spread out slowly at first and then stopped, forming a dome of pure energy roughly twenty feet around and twenty feet high. The soldiers looked on in confusion and fear at the strange dome of energy, unsure whether to run or stay. They should have run… Suddenly the dome condensed to half its size and just as suddenly burst outwards, engulfing the entire complex in a bright destructive wave. Zaphnir smirked to himself as the cannons swiveled back around to their resting positions along the Dialga’s back, the two smoking barrels pointing down.

Turning swiftly in the air, the Dialga then took off back into space. Zaphnir had finished his mission and he wanted nothing more than to just go home.
