Private Log between Chobi and Tabs Chobi Tahki had a restless night. Nightmares clawed at her little head about dead lions and the swamps filled with blood and fire. They clawed at her so bad she shivered in her sleep. Evil laughter ehoed from the trees as the demon lizards watched as Tahki's home and family burned and died. Tahki shivered and shivered til she woke up in a cold sweat. The lioness wasted no time getting to her feet. She needed to find Shoo and cuddle with him. Her fur was damp from the sweat a little matted. It was clear that Tahki was distressed. "Shooo," She sniffed around. He couldn't be to far off. Tabs Shoo had rolled away from her while she slept: she was a kicker, but he wasn't too far away so that he couldn't hear. Nope, the second she needed him he rolled back over to her and frowned, poking her side. "What's wrong?" he questioned softly.

chobi Tahki sniffled a little and cuddled in close to him. "I had a nightmare," She confessed. "I had one of blood and fire and lizards," She pressed her face to his shoulder like a little kid. tabs "Oh my god, Tahki." He rolled his eyes and sighed. Not this again! She was so freaking cute it hurt him to be annoyed by this. She had this idea that... well, lizards were pure evil, and somehow they could start fires. What... he was just baffled by her mindset. With a soft smile he slid a paw around her and spoke out softly. "I can swear to you nothing like that is going to happen, okay?"

Chobi Tahki smiled at him, "Thats right cause I'm killing all of the demons," She was so proud of her daily lizard hunts. Yeah Tahki was a little crazy but she was a great explorer. Right? The great explorer demon killer whos bravery could not be matched ever by anyone. At least she thought that of her self. "Will you stay with me tonight Shoo," Her face showed fear. Tabs "Sure." He smiled and nodded. Yeah, this was a little crazy, but maybe that's why he liked being around her. She was so unreal and out of the world, something about her just clicked with him. He could have his cake and eat it too with her, because she was so smart and pretty, yet had this very childlike humor about her. "Don't worry, everything will be alright."

Chobi Tahki nuzzled her maw closer into his shoulder letting her body fall in place next to his. "Promise to be here when I wake up?" Her voice was very small but very serious. She was scared. Tabs "Yes, I'm not going anywhere, I swear." He smiled and intched closer to her as he nuzzled beside her. Hell, if some lizards were the reason she wanted to snuggle he wanted to thank every lizard in the world right now for this night. He smiled under a yawn and spoke out. "I will help you hunt them down tomorrow."

Chobi Her face lit up at that comment. Shoo almost never wanted to go along let alone offer to go with her on one of her lizard hunts. Part of her knew that lizards werent these evil demons but she lied to her self and blamed them for the murders. She wanted to believe another lion would never harm another lion so she lived in her own little fantasy world trying to keep what she believed sacred as pure as possible. Faith in other lions. She wanted to love everyone. She wanted to love Shoo. Tahki inched in closer, "Stay with me forever.." Tabs "Aww." He smiled at her, assuming she well... wanted him to stay for that one reason alone. He was fine with it, too. He could live life like this so long as he could spend it with her. She made everyday a new day. "I'm not going to go anywhere. I've told you this like a billion times." He still couldn't see the change in her tone. What a slow guy.

Chobi The female grinned and closed her eyes breathing in his scent. "I don't think the nightmares will come get me with you here," She said sleepily. Tabs "Really?" He blushed slightly. She was amazing, and that was that. He nuzzled her softly and spoke out as they rested side by side. "You are my star, got it? You keep things bright for me."

Chobi Tahki would have blushed but her eyes were getting heavier and heavier. His scent was comforting for some reason. "Star.. star.. bright." She mubled in her half sleep. "You .. you can be ... moooon," She felt safe as she started to fade. Tabs "Every body look at the moon." He chuckled and nuzzled her softly. She was falling asleep on him, it was cute. Even when she slept she was something else, something he didn't ever want to lose.

chobi Tahki was fully drifted off now. No nightmare greeted her as she floated through her dreams. Only the warm scent of Shoo. She was safe. Tabs Maybe someday he would tell her how he felt. Maybe some day he would be brave, but... for now he didn't mind being her moon, so long as she always was his star. With a soft smile he relaxed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
