((ok im going to be tobi and nix now ^^)) tobi climbed a tree searching for hachi and mauri. he ran his fingers through his jet black hair. he was in human form and was eager to play. his mentor, darkwing was waiting below him with his foster brother nix. they were both in kitsune form and nix's mentor, glaze had just come back two crows in her mouth. "are we done yet, all the time weve wasted its a miracle she hasnt already sang the song," glaze laughed. "found em!," tobi shouted and jumped from the tree an landed on his feet in fox form. "nix, lets use shadow speed!," that was a new technique that he and nix discovered when they were stil in the nursery. they had watched it when earthskulk had invaded the territory and the guardians were all dissapearing into thier shadows. "here we go," darkwing muttered. nix and tobi quickly recited the spell and stepped back one into thier shadow. next thing they knew they were beside hachi and mauri. "heylo!," tobi said excitedly. he frightened them so bad that tobi almost got kicked in the face. "sorry," he said laughing. mauri just jumped a little.and the nix was beside him with glae and darkwing. "you know we couldve been in trouble had you shadowspeeded into fireskulk territory," darkwing sighed. mauri hachi and nix all laughed with tobi at the thought of that.

hachi looked towards his right, he had heard something he was sure of it. "be right back guys," he murmered as they took no notice stiill joking about shadow speed. hachi looked down. it was only kurai. "you ok?," he asked in fox form his amber eyes glowing. "you do know this is the apprentices run, youre spose to be out here having fun and exploring, like us," he added. helping her up.

hachi cocked his head. "then why dont you hurry and get done so you can come and run with us?", before he turned around he flicked his ear towards where they would be and ran off.

blackheart slid down from the branch she had been on. she would need and apprentice soon. the next one will be hers to teach. it would be fun, having practice with an apprentice who could meet up to her fighting skill it would be like battling her reflection. she laughed at herself. she should be making a list of the kitsunes who were going to the moonpool gathering. she would bring twelve. the apprentices would be: tobi and nix because theyre inseperable, mauri ad hachi, and shade and raven and that would be it for apprentices. thunder, dark , and glaze wuld go also. and ofcourse her and wicked and the healers apprentice. the healer could stay. good she was all prepared for the gathering. she smiled as she headed out of the camp and into the territories.

tobi nudged nix as he spotted raven and kurai coming this way,"i hear that in the next few weeks we will be moved to the new den theyve been building...," hachi was talking with them, but when he noticed kurai he padded over to her. tobi nudged nix as he followed mauri to go see raven and kurai. "you took my offer! good..uh hey raven," he smiled at her. she was interesting. raven had a way about her that made him show off a little more when he was around her, he didnt know what that was , but why wonder?. "ooh someones a little flirty today," they all laughed at nix's comment, cept hachi, he glared at nix. nix flicked his tail accross hachi's shoulder to show he was kidding. hachi flicked his ear to tell him he understood and then there was an awkward pause. "so! are we going to, uh run?i'd like to see the rest of the territory before the shadow song." tobi commented. "hes right we should start running...and if we run into veil leave him and his croneys there," mauri's mood glimmered into slight anger. veil was a troubling making kitsune who assumed he was better than everybody because hes a direct descendant from darkwing. he had almost gotten himself torn to shreds by mauri and more than one occasion he and nix didnt like him much either. hachi personally didnt care about him. "lets go!," nix laughed as he ran off tobi and mauri right behind him. hachi dpoke to kurai a bit, tobi guessed he had tolld her to follow and a bit to raven, before he sped off after them trying to keep up. he looked back and saw kurai and raven soon catch up.

"oi, hachi, you act like a fool around her," mauri ran a bit closer to her brother and nipped his ear. nix laughed as hachi looked away. "hey! round this tree," mauri heard tobi say. she followed him as he rounded the tree of the side of the path it sloped down heading for a dark meadow and at the end of the meadow a small pond that some of the apprentices would goto just to play and have fun. as they ran down the hill nix tripped and went rolling. he crashed into tobi which sent him rolling down through the meadow and then she tripped over the same thing. everything was a blue as she shook her head laughing. tobi andnix were laughing to and nix was trying to apologize through all his giggles. they were beginning to stop laughing and then they saw hachi lose his footing and come tumbling into the high grass meadow too, which started a whole nother laughing fit.

Thunder padded around the forest, his jet black tail brushing the geound. Sure the forest was dark, but it was home. As he was wandering aimlessly around the territory, he passed by a place that had the sweet-smelling scent of Kurai...wait a second. What was he doing, thinking about her that way? He shook the thought from his head. Kurai's the healer's apprentice! The black fox scloded himself. She can't fall in love! With curiosity, he followed Kurai's scent trail to find her as well as the other apprentices simply having fun. He stayed hidden from view, not wanting to ruin it for all of them.
