Sin was hurt, laying peacefully in the bushes of his forest. His forest, property of Cruor land, his tribe in the making. His legs bled, however had slowed since the past few days. The markings of the battle with a boar barely showed against his already bloodstained coat. His naturally black coat had stained, marks of the battles between unfortunate and certainly foolish Modifoxes from the past. He could still remember the battle between that fox, Rendo, who had led him away from his prey and into a boar. Damn nuisance. He would remove his presence later, right now his focus was healing and recruiting fellow tribe members.
Sin was hardly friendly, however was known to be rather decent towards ones that followed under him. Proof was the fox Yuki he had found as a young kit, his half-brother he later found out. He hadn't known Yuki was related to him, yet he had raised and taught the mentally weak fox how to cope with the outside world. Yuki had been the only creature to receive his kindness, and even the only creature he had ever been fond of. Unfortunately they had been separated during a rather hideous storm. He had spent days searching for the fox, and had given up with the recognition that Yuki would be best without the murderous fox leading him about.
His tribe to be would most likely receive a moderation of the fox he had become when Yuki was following him. He would watch over them like a father, protect the weak and order the strong to do the same. Yet stern and cruel when need be. The weak needed protecting, and he would do just that, bend them to his ways. Make them realize this world was broken, flawed, stained. This hateful world would eat it's own kits alive. The pure were the judgmental, the broken were their ideas of a joke. Everyone could be corrupted, and he planned to do just that. Corrupt the good, recruit the bad, and create a family that loved only one another, and hated the rest.
He was going far ahead of himself at the moment though, right now he needed to see to his wounds, which were close to healing. He needed to protect his land. His tribe was fairly new, and not yet official, trespassers were sure to be popular for the next few weeks, maybe months. He would soon prove this land was his and the Cruor.

Leo had been wandering through the forests a lot lately. He had come into contact with a tribe of tree-dwellers, but neither side had really made up their mind about the other. So Leo would spend most of his time in the forest beyond their giant tree of a home, to give them time to think without intruding. And in general he just loved trees! Great to climb in, hide in, play in, find prey in, and all-around live in!
Right now Leos mind wasn't on the pleasantness of the forest though. It was taken over by the ring looped around his front left paw. A purple and white BCR. He'd just stumbled across it a few days ago, far enough away from the Omaticaya tribe that he was sure it wasn't one of theirs. As far as he knew there weren't any other tribes in the immediate area, so maybe it had come from a wanderer like himself. The reason Leo had been wandering so much was that he hoped he'd find the mother so he could return the little guy.
It wasn't that Leo had something against kits. He didn't mind them at all. It's just that he wasn't the right one to raise them. He couldn't afford it the proper protection it deserved. He had thought about taking the little one to the Omaticaya tribe and see if they would raise it, but that was going to be his last resort. And it looked like that last resort was the only one he had left right now. Leo'd been wandering this forest for a week and hadn't come across another Modi. Even the scents were weak and on the verge of vanishing in the next rain.
Leo stopped to sit down and look at the BCR on his paw. Truth be told he'd grown fond of the to-be kit and wasn't sure he wanted to give him up. And if the Omaticaya had him then Leo would be able to watch him grow up, maybe even teach him a little something. Or her, he wasn't really sure what the babe inside was. So the tribe it was! A drink sounded nice before the journey, and there was a lake somewhere in the vicinty. Leo was upwind so he never scented the other Modifox that was less than 100 feet away from him, even with the blood adding to the smell.

There was an intruder. He could smell him, and he hated it. How dare he stumble upon his home. Was he looking to join the tribe? No, he couldn't be. He smelled like he belonged to another tribe. This was his forest, hadn't that fox smelled the scent of other Modifoxes living here? He had a few tribe members, but at the moment they were scattered, looking for a base inside the forest to primarily reside in.
His eyes fell upon the BCR on the foxes leg, having traveled towards the male in the shadows. The BCR was attached to his leg...his leg! Even mothers rarely carried young babies like this! Judging by it's appearance, he doubted the green fox even was blood related to the BCR.
Why? Why did he had a desire to take that BCR? Was it because his tribe needed new members? Young blood could be raised to follow directly and without conflict under the tribe, not needing to adjust to rules or learn their place due to how they would be raised around it, and automatically following the tribe ways.
He shook this thought aside, leaping from the rock he had been settled upon and dropping before the green fox, hackles raised, ears lowered. His body suggested hostility, no, it screamed hostility. This fox would need to remove itself immediately.
"This is Cruor land, trespasser! I suggest you leave before I rip your throat out." The fox belonged to another tribe, he wanted him out. However, the BCR... didn't smell like another tribe. His eyes locked on it, then on the fox.

Leo reacted instincely to the male who was challenging his rights. His ears went back, hackles raised, and lip curled up to show sharp white teeth. He braced his feet so that if the male launched at him he would be ready for it. This was the reason Leo would never make a good carer. He always reacted first and thought later.
It was only when the hostile male glanced down at his paws that Leo remembered the BCR. He mentally cursed, sliding the paw a bit closer to his body. Even if both males had no intention to harm the little one it would still be hard to fight without doing so. Leo thought about moving it to his backpaw, but then it was more likely he would step on it or it would fall off. And Leo wasn't about to just simply remove it and leave it while he fought.
The only option, as much as it rankled him, was to run for it. Problem was the male was inbetween him and the way "home". He would have to find another way, but turning his back on the male seemed a bad idea. There was no doubt in Leo's mind this fox would love to spill some blood. He starting easing backwards slowly. And maybe he could have gotten away like that, except he had to open his big mouth. "Cruor, huh? Never heard of them. Must be some weak sissies though if you can get so ripped up. Not to mention your scent isn't even really on the land! What are you, a tribe of one?"

Sin smirked at this. "It is a small tribe at best, hosting only five members, however I formed it merely a few days ago and already have this many. I wonder will join me in a month? Must I warn you, each member would rip you apart if they saw you." He smiled darkly, stepping closer to the other.
"Scent? Our tribe has no desire to mark this place completely. I just love stumbling upon unsupecting fox's and ripping them apart piece by piece. In fact, if you try to run I can tell my winged tribe members to collect you just for me." He was not amused with the fox, angry at his jest of his tribe. Hie would pay the fox back, and he knew just how.

Leo turned his body slightly, not so much that his side was revealed but enough so that his left side was not in direct sight of the other male. "Hah, you think wings will make a difference. I would ground them." Leo smiled a little ferally. "Wings are such delicate things, you know. Bark all you want, you aren't impressing me."

Sin smiled. "I do not bark, only a tamed dog would bark. I can frighten you though, pest." He leapt at the fox, however did not attack, instead using his legs to skid beside the other, slamming into the fox. He was quick, insanely so, his family were runners it only made sense. The blood-stained fox his the fox's left side, attempting to knock him over, eyes set on the BCR. Mocking him did not go over well with the demonic fox.

((I usually go with rolling dice when it comes to battles. Like you roll two of any side. Both evens you miss, both odds you hit, even and odd the other person gets to decide. You wanna try doing that or just free-style?))
Since Leo had been leaning his left side away from the male, even with the male's speed in getting to his other side, he didn't topple. As his weight shifted he used the momentum from the push and jumped to the side, turning a bit so that he was facing the male.
As soon as his feet touched ground they spread for a solid stance. Leo lowered his head and upper torso near the ground, snapping at the air in the male's direction and growling fiercly. He kept his head tilted more towards his left front leg; he'd seen the male eyeing the baby, and he did not like it!
"You don't frighten me," Leo snarled, and he told the truth. Injuries healed, and all thing eventually died. So no, Leo wasn't afraid of the male or what he might do to him. It was the BCR, which he was determined to defend, that he was frightened for. Nothing must be allowed to hurt it!

(( I am slightly confused. I will act out what Sin does and you will explain if it hit or not, please?))
Sin growled furiously. He skidded, twisting quickly, jumping up onto a rock and snarling at the fox, then noticing how protective he was over the BCR, laughing. "True, you are not scared! But I see how you try and position yourself away from the BCR you hold so precious. Trust me, I will not hurt it." He leapt behind
"Or will I?" With this he threw himself at the male, claws and teeth prepared to knock the male aside to collect that damnable BCR that the fox was so protective over. He would show him fear.

((You rolled two even numbers (2, 2), so he misses. I'm going to roll and see what I get for my counterattack. Whooo, battle!!))
Leo was prepared. As the male lept into the air to get behind him Leo bunched his muscles and swirled around. Just cause he spent most of his time in the trees didn't mean he was a slouch! He managed to get inbetween the male's outstretched front paws, and ducked his head low to avoid the teeth. He didn't answer the threat except to snarl, and aimed his gleaming white fangs at the male's throat in order to pin and hold him.
((Even odd, you get to decide if the hit lands : ) ))

((This is a miss, right?))
Sin snarled as he was pinned, eyes flashing dangerously as the fury piled up. His tail lashed about, leaving heavy thumps each time they hit. Suddenly, he had a bright idea, lashing his paw out. It didn't hit, his attack had missed, however his tail whipped out to the left leg, as if to dislodge what was on the foxes leg.

((You got an even and odd number, so I get to decide if the blow lands.))
Leo's hold on the lashing fox was strong enough that he tasted blood. The manner in which the male was pinned would have made it difficult to score any kind of hit with front paws, and back paws were out of the question. Their strengths were about evenly matched. The only way the male would get free was if Leo let him go.
A fierce growl was playing in the back of his throat. Mentally Leo mocked and scorned the male's attempts to attack him with his limbs. He had completely forgotten that the tail was still able to move, and that the limb with the BCR around it was closest to the tail.
Although Leo's feet were firmly planted on the ground the male managed to knock the BCR loose. If Leo lifted his paw it would fall off. He panicked slightly; there was no telling what Aegel would do to him if he lost her son! Foolishly Leo released the male to resecure the BCR, tensing all his muscles in case the male attacked before he could do so.
((I rolled evens, so any attack would have missed. Also, due to an rp I started with Lisa, my first post is now incorrect. Leo found the ring, but he knows who the mother is and she let him keep Dakari.))

((I'm getting a hang of this! You decide, da?))
Sin laughed as he was released, easily jumping to the side. He saw the fox try and fix the BCR, leaving himself open and the BCR as well. He didn't waste time, leaping at the fox and directing his attack straight to the leg holding the BCR, planning to bite it and slip the BCR off. He didn't know why he wanted it, mostly because the fox had insulted him, and was giving him more of a reason to grab it when he leapt away constantly. It was the fact he wanted something that was just out of his reach, and he knew he could take it if he wanted it that bad, of course not without a fight.

((Yus : ) ))
Leo couldn't help the yelp of pain as the male's teeth sank into his leg, just above the BCR. The skin and muscle were only a thin layer over bone though, and it did not bleed heavily. That was the least of Leo's problems however. The BCR had finally slipped off of Leo's paw, and the male's head was closer to it than his way.
"No," Leo shouted. He grabbed the males scruff and went down into a roll, taking the fight as far away from the little one as he could. Leo's back feet kicked and clawed at the male, trying to inflict as much damage as possible. He aimed for the male's already injured legs.
((XD This is gonna be an epid battle until you roll two odds!))
