Kaida yawned as she blinked awake. She had been napping throughout the early afternoon hours, as she had arisen before dawn to observe the sunrise like she did every morning. Then spent the rest of the morning roaming the pack lands inspecting all before returning back to the den to rest and keep a watch out for trouble. It had been a quiet serene morning that had drifted into a calm afternoon surprisingly enough and it had been that, that had lulled her into a doze. Which was unusual in itself as Kaida wasn't the type to simply sleep in the middle of the day. She slept as little as possible actually, the bare essential to get by. As she wanted to be awake in case of trouble, in case Liu needed her for anything. Which was really the only one she cared about enough to push herself so hard. Of course she would answer the call of her little sister, mother or father as well. Should they even ask for her aid, which they tended not to do. Of course that might be because they knew she didn't trust them very much. But that was not a train of thought for now. It was that thought that pushed her to her feet to shake out her fur and glance around herself. Might as well see if she could find him. He had been out of it as of late and she didn't much care for how it was making her older brother act. She stretched herself out before starting off at an easy lope. Following his scent that she picked up almost as soon as she looked for it. It was so quiet with just the soft chatter of birds that Kaida felt at peace for the first time in quite a few days. Today was looking to be a rather fine day.

Glancing around Shriek took in a deep breath; she couldn’t hear the slight intake, biting her tongue Shriek had to hold back the urge to growl. She was still new to this pack and the certain things she was told she couldn’t remember, she knew she was told something but her mind was just erasing it’s self slowly as the time ticked by. That didn’t matter anyway all she needed was to focus on her hearing, focus on her goal focus… Letting out a low growl Shriek did her best not to twitch at the certain sounds that weren’t registering in her head.
Twitching Shriek started to pace, back and forth wanting nothing more than to hear the crunch below her feet. She could care less about her past life; she could care less about others… Hell she could care less about the world all she wanted was for her body to work properly! Starting a stomp Shriek’s growl increased, she needed noise she needed loud things! Something to tell her that she isn’t completely useless! Letting out a bark slash snap at the wind Shriek glared at the closest object that she could attack.
Lunging forward Shriek let out snap and a bite, before stomping the leaves into the ground. She might have seemed childish but in this state of mind Shriek would attack anything that made a noise; at least a noise that she could hear.

Kaida's ears twitched at the first sounds of growling reached them. Her lithe form came to a slow stop and she lifted her head up to glance in the direction of the noise. It wasn't unusual for someone in the pack lands to be growling and snapping but as far as she could tell there was only one and that one seemed to be having a right fit. She gave a soft snort and moved forward again intent to just leave whoever it was to their insanity.
However as more growling and snapping reached her delicate ears she pulled up again and looked back over her shoulder. It could possibly be a pup, or... heaven forbid a rouge wolf. Were the guards slacking off that badly? She huffed and turned around stepping silently along the ground to come upon a female wolf who was... throwing a right fit about something.
Kaida tilted her head to the side at the female and all the noise she was causing, she was being so loud even the birds had given up and left. Kaida sat, waiting to see if maybe this female had lost it completely and would do something of interest or if maybe she was suffering from something new and currently unobserved before this point. After all Kaida had never seen someone act so... err... well stupid was really the only word to describe it.

Continuing her assault on the patch of leaves Shriek made sure the pile wasn’t even a pile any more, she hated everything that could make noise and she couldn’t hear it. She wanted her hearing back! She wanted her life back! Frowning Shriek slowed, her life… What was her life? What was there if she couldn’t hear, she couldn’t be a wolf… She couldn’t be the best. No! She had to be the best; all she had to do was fix her hearing.
Taking in a deep Shriek calmed down, sitting back the lonely female wolf glanced around the area not hearing a thing of the birds or the trees moving. It was all so unsettling to not be able to hear it, so disturbing it made Shrieks fur puff out and skin crawl. Letting out another slow growl Shriek’s body rumbled, “Need more…” Shaking out her fur Shriek couldn’t deal with the silence!
“More!’ Barking Shriek clawed at the ground seemingly starting to dig, maybe make her own home? Who knows with Shriek.

Kaida blinked in surprise at the female. Had she really not noticed Kaida's presence? What kind of wolf was she? One didn't make this much noise and not expect to draw someone's attention. Maybe this female really did have a serious problem.
She was pulled from her quiet contemplations by the sound of the females voice. 'More?' Kaida thought the word to herself blinking in a languid fashion. What exactly was this female after more what? Kaida wrinkled her nose as the female began to dig incessantly. Perhaps she was after something perhaps not... who could tell with this one.
"More what exactly?" Kaida finally spoke, her soft voice like a razor cutting through the noise and chilling the world around her with its icy almost demanding tone.

Shriek’s ears twitched back towards the sound of a voice, her whole body froze on spot before looking back to the female presences. Mumbling to herself Shriek was afraid that one day she wouldn’t even be able to hear her own thoughts. “How long has she been there…?”
Growling Shriek could feel her nerves rush through her body, her blood pumping her up and pounding in her veins. Her growling increased as she started a slow tort towards the female before suddenly lunging at her. She hadn’t surprises! She wanted control over everything! She didn’t want to be taken over! “Are you here to attack me!?” Barking the command Shriek’s mouth went out snapping towards the female.
It wasn’t fair! She wouldn’t have it! She would have her control, her hearing and her seat of power if it took her life in the process!

Kaida gave a soft snort of contempt before growling darkly. "I have been here since the middle of your little temper tantrum." She stated chidingly, an air of superiority over taking her as she turned up her nose at the other wolf.
"Attack you? Honestly child if I had wanted to do that I would have done it while you were distracted. Use what little intellect you have before you speak." Her voice was like ice and her eyes were glittering garnets as she spoke. Her entire demeanor being that of someone who clearly felt they were the better of the two present.
She snorted again and looked around the area before looking back at the female. "You do realize you are raising a huge unneeded fuss in the middle of the Reign of Terror pack lands... right?" The way she said it, it was clear she didn't think the female had any idea what she was doing or where she was.

Not dropping her stance Shriek gave the wolf credit for not fleeing when Shriek did her whole flip out, it was quite a surprise to meet another wolf at all that would stay near Shriek for longer than a few seconds; but then again Shriek really didn’t care about other wolves.
Growling Shriek spit a large about of saliva forming in her mouth from all the growling, “I really don’t care what you have to say little girl…” She didn’t like any one, and as quiet as this one was she really didn’t like this high strung self on a pedestal b***h before her. Ignoring the wolf Shriek let out a snort, she didn’t care what she did it was her business and no one else’s what her problems were!
Wait a pack? Oh yeah… She was in a pack now,… “Reign of Terror?” The name sounded like something Shriek had heard before but she couldn’t be sure. “Wait, oh that’s right… That wolf Geri brought me to this pack.” She wasn’t so much speaking to this other wolf but noting it to herself, her thoughts were never her own; she didn’t like thinking to herself.

Kaida wrinkled her nose at this female and shook her head. "Right." She said and gave a wide yawn. "Well then silly old lady I shall simply take my leave. Since you seem to know so much and don't care what I have to say." She stood stretching out her body and shaking out her fur once more.
She was just about to turn and walk off when the female spoke again. Kaida looked over her shoulder as her uncle's name was spoken. A low growl escaped her and she gave a derisive snort. "Lovely. How utterly intelligent of my uncle." This meant she must at least be civil at the very least... for now.
She gave a small nod. "Kaida, also from Reign of Terror. Daughter of the blood shaman."

Raising an eyebrow at the snobby female Shriek let out another snort, this time hearing it. The sound made Shriek calm a bit, her fur lower and her skin smoothing out against her hide it felt nice to relax at hearing your own snort… Your own heart beat, it was like her hearing was teasing her one minute she could hear everything and then at another time nothing.
Too focused on her own abilities Shriek ignored the comment about Geri and her age from the attitude filled Kaida. This wasn’t such a bad thing after all at, she was doing something to help her hearing and she was part of a pack that seemed to destroy others or at least that’s what it seemed like by the name; not like she cared if they were weak then they weren’t needed.
“I cannot become weak…” Another soft mumble before Shriek perked back up at the female. “A blood shaman? Haven’t heard that one before… Or have I?” her own memory was making her weak! Growling Shriek did her best to stay calm, “Who are the Alphas and Betas?” Finishing the thought with a snarl Shriek hoped for a good long beat down to buff up and take one over.

Kaida tilted her head perking her ears forward. Did this female seriously not know anything about the pack she had just been accepted into? Who... was that idiotic? Honestly one should learn as much as one could about a pack before entering it, and then upon entering it they should make a point to learn the rest. Perhaps this was her point to learn the rest? Surely though, Geri would have told her these things. Well... then again... perhaps not. She gave a snort and shook her head.
"You are weak." She stated her tone clipped and cold, cool and collected with a note of finality in it. "You need training." She stated finally before giving the parody of a shrug. "Yes a blood shaman. He is a lord of this pack, you would do well to learn all of the lords and ladies of this pack. Your hide could be on the line if you don't." She said before glancing towards the alpha's dens.
"The Alphas are The Goblin King, and Queen Moghedien. The betas are Rumor and Ba'al. I wouldn't suggest you be careful around them. They will show much less mercy than I have. Where as I find you an idiot that needs to be destroyed but isn't worth the effort it would take for me to do so... they will more than likely just fine you impudent and either use you as a slave or kill you. Aside from maybe the king... who might find some use for you... he seems to find a use for everyone. Who knows... the queen might yet find a use for you as well." She said the last part as if musing to herself.
"Either way, I wouldn't suggest walking up to them and acting like you have here. Unless you enjoy making a fool of yourself that is."

Listening to Kaida’s words made Shriek’s body calm further, it was nice… She could hear the smooth sound of another, hear the silent wind rush past her ear fur, her tail wagging slowly but happily. Usually she would gut a wolf that said something like this about her, who would take it upon themselves to be an utter a*****e about everything that involves some one with a slight change in their person. Then again Kaida did have a point Shriek had to agree to, Shriek was weak right now.
What she could remember, after the hit to her head, was that everything was wildly spinning all the time and it made her want to lay down to rest to not open her eyes to what could be going on around her. It took her a while to figure out what had happened and she slowly… went insane? “No…’ Growling Shriek knew she wasn’t insane just a little hurt by her own weakness.
How could her body and mind betray her? “Never…” Mumbling Shriek shook her head snorting at the wolf before her. “Thank you for the information and I will begin my training. I’m pretty sure that if you were truly important you would be off doing something, or in fact training me for a better purpose. But as I can see that you are not doing anything of truly significant value I can only come to the conclusion that you are of no use other then any normal female place in a pack.”
A low shiver ran down Shriek’s back making her twitch and her body shake suddenly with the need to destroy something. After all this time it seems her body has become accustom to the twitchy need for chaos and loud noises in her life.

Kaida could only stare blankly at the female. "Stop falling into your own mind and speaking out loud to yourself. It gives away your position." She huffed amused that the female hadn't noticed Kaida had been teaching her in a sense the entire time. Not has harshly as she could have but still, she had been dropping hints the whole time as well as conditioning her.
"You seem awfully sure of yourself." She said mildly amused before snorting. "You are mistaken though, we don't run on a male female basis. Its simply the strongest vs the weakest. Should the female prove stronger than so be it." She smiled softly it was almost inviting except for her eyes. Which held no love or kindness and were as hard and glittering as they had ever been.
"As for what my job is in the pack... you will learn of that soon enough. However as of right now I do not see how it is any of your business what those above you do." She flicked her tail slightly before pinning her ears back against her head.
"I wouldn't be so presumptuous pup. It can land you in over your head. Where there will be no hope for escape and your blood will be used to water the plants. Remember, you are weak you will learn to compensate for that here or you will die."

Shriek’s ears flaten to her skull, the females words sinking in she had ot admit though that Kaida was right Shriek just hated being told off as such. Biting her tongue Shriek did her best not to speak her thoughts aloud, it was harder this way she had gone so long speaking freely and now she was suppose to follow these random rules of this bitchy female?
But then again she did need it, she needed more from her life so that she could become stronger maybe even over take the Beta. Nodding Shriek stood up straight her body shiver every now and again wanting to let out a twitch for relief. Shriek truly wanted nothing more then her strength, her power of being a wolf and pushing it onto others to further herself in a pack; that was her life.
“Train me then, make it so I am worth while if my very site can be thought of as so weak.” Her tail flicked with a twitch as one of her ears perked up listening for any sounds, her voice sounded commanding but it was the fact that she could hear he own voice that made her tail sweep against the ground so.

Kaida rounded on her then looking her dead in the eye and growling low a snarl in her voice when she spoke. "Train you? Train you? What do I look like your mother?" She asked in a snappy snarl as she sat back ears flat against her head.
"I have pups I must train, if you want someone to train you then ask one of the warriors to do so. That is what we keep them around for. Aside from the fact that they make good kill dogs." She stated before she calmed her fur once more lying flat and her ears lifting from her skull.
"Perhaps if you are not annoying, and learn quickly I will give some of my time to teach you a few things that will help you in the long run. If you want to learn to brawl then by all means I will drop you off by one of the warriors dens and let you prattle at them." She stated a huff in her tone.
"Is that what you want? To learn to brawl?"
