Head Chef - (Vigilante) The head chef has the authority to fire other chefs. Each day he reports to management with one chef's name and they are discharged immediately.

Sous-Chef - (Seer) The head chef's second in command. Each day they may choose one chef to oversee, and will consequently learn whether that chef is a saboteur or not. The Sous-Chef and Psous-Chef do not start the game knowing which one they are; both will be told they are the Sous-Chef.

Psous-Chef - (Insane Seer) This cook is almost positive he's going to end up with the Sous-Chef's position. So sure, that he's started taking on the Sous-Chef's duties. Unfortunately, he doesn't have the experience, and always ends up with a judgment opposite that of the truth. The Sous-Chef and Psous-Chef do not start the game knowing which one they are; both will be told they are the Sous-Chef.

Commis - (Doctor) This is an assistant to the line cooks. Each day they may choose one chef to assist at their station, ensuring their preparations are not sabotaged.

Line Cook - Plain town-aligned cook. They try to do their best and not have their meals sabotaged.

Saboteurs (Mafia)

Aboyeur - (Spy) The aboyeur, or waiter/waitress, waits to sabotage the meals until after they're out of the kitchen. They appear to be town-aligned if investigated.

Chef de Plunge - (Roleblocker) The chef de plunge, or dishwasher, prevents one cook daily from doing their job by 'accidentally' breaking a pile of dishes and asking them for assistance in cleaning it up.

Neutral (Serial)

Chef Gordon Ramsay - The controversial celebrity chef called on to pull this restaurant back to a profiting point. Each day he can choose one chef to heavily criticize, leading them to angrily quit. Ramsay can only be forced to leave by vote; he cannot be fired by the Head Chef or sabotaged.

Day Two

The staff decided that with Sweet Amber Lynne on leave for reasons beyond her control, it would not be in their best interest to make reckless moves and instead work diligently under Chef Ramsay, keeping their suspicions to themselves for the night.

Things went surprisingly smoothly; there were no sabotaged dishes and no outbursts from the fiery celebrity chef. It seemed like things were finally going to come together for this small, sordid restaurant...

or were they?

Day Three

The chefs amicably agreed to let Owwin go, for the sake of settling the quarrel between the Sous-chef and his aspiring replacement. The Line Cook smiled as he left the kitchen, hoping he had done the right thing.

That night, Dessynea served a plate that was severely undercooked. To avoid being sued over food poisoning, they agreed to fire her. The Sous-Chef insisted that she hadn't been to blame, but with a lawsuit on their hands they couldn't afford to take any chances.

Chef Gordon Ramsay was quite upset about the failed dinner service, and he took it out on melikefood. The commis threw down his chef's hat and stormed out of the kitchen, claiming they'd rue the day they let Chef Ramsay into their restaurant.

The chefs set about their preparations for tonight's meal in rather poor spirits. Maybe letting Owwin go wasn't such a good idea...

Day Four

The day went by slowly, with few disruptions. However, just before the dinner service, WylrPnufh was caught tampering with the labels on the spices. He was promptly sent away, a pink slip falling out of his coat pocket as he left the kitchen. One fired cook down, four to go.

That night, Allegro's station kept making mistake after mistake. Eventually Chef Ramsay couldn't take it anymore, and he exploded on him. The Head Chef, appalled by this treatment, threw down his chef's hat and left.

Tomorrow's service would be a difficult one. What was to become of La Manique?


Day Five

The chefs seemed to agree that Tatsuman was taking up too much of their kitchen's freedom, and subsequently asked him to leave. He turned on his heel, cursing furiously. "No one takes Chef Gordon Ramsay for granted! This restaurant deserves to go under."

The dinner service that night was ominous. Kathulu's dishes were very poorly put together and improperly garnished, and he was taken off the staff due to many customer complaints. The amount of Line Cooks was decreasing every day; how were they going to run a restaurant without employees?

Best not to think about what's to become of the restaurant. For now, the task at hand is making sure tomorrow's dinner service goes without a hitch. With or without Ramsay's help.
