... >.> what exactly is it? like an item that you open with the potential to get different things? (ex keido, happy melody, rave..) and why are there like, ten different kinds i found on tektek? like east versus west, diamond record, megalomaniac....
because while looking it up randomly i noticed that one regular famestar hero is around-ish 100k, and if you open it and get like mono keido, thats like 1mil profit... but i dont really think it works that way.. D ;
so, help rena? is it a good item to buy/vend/exchange and how exactly does it work? (i'm getting back into gaia after a 2 year absence, so i have basically no idea whats going on when it comes to the cash shop or EIs. =D)

Famestar, and many other items like the gee boi turbo and animal quackers, all are what some refer to as a RIG, which stands for Random Item Generator. The newer ones act as a game, and pending on what actions you take, you are granted newer opportunities while still using it. Some of them don't necessarily act too much like a game, but more so, they have a little story, and you will have to continue to click certain buttons that respond to you, pending on things like your luck and other elements as well.
The Famestar Hero, just like other RIG's will not grant you any item. It grants you whatever it wants you to have, therefore, you are not promised a Keido. However, if you were granted a highly valued item, such as one of the Keido's, then they would be much more costly, and they would cost more in the cash shop.
Does that help?

And for even more clarification, when I said "However, if you were granted a highly valued item, such as one of the Keido's, then they would be much more costly, and they would cost more in the cash shop.", I meant that if you were given a choice of any of the items, then the price of the Famestar would be significantly higher then it is now.

Does that help? that def helps. i didnt know items could be games nowadays... : O but when you say it grants you whatever it wants you to have, does that mean when you buy a famestar hero you will end up receiving one of those 6 items regardless of what you do?

No, the Famestar, just like other RIG's, will posses the power of opportunity to grant you a random item of 20+ possibilities. This, being the reason you have such a small chance of getting the beloved Keido.
Good luck!
