Ok so I'm tired of trying to find a XIV guild that suits me and considering my urge to operate a guild of my own I've lit a fire under my a** and I'm ready to make a site for a linkshell for this guild.
I'm all set and ready to make it I just need to know who's willing to join / be officers within the guild and what we should name it.
I know the naming can be a bit of a hassle but let's be honest how important is a name? What's going to be important is how we establish ourselves and the kind of guild we're going to be.
I've come up with a few ideas, offer some feedback or contribute your own ideas and lets see where we go from there. I want to begin work on the site within by the end of the weekend or early next week so I hope we can get feedback soon!
- Knights of The 12
- Blades Edge
- Knights of Gaia (Gaia was the goddess of earth >3>)
- Souls Edge (I really like the ring of this one)
So yeah. Let me know your ideas and lets see if we can get things rolling.

Let me know your ideas and lets see if we can get things rolling. umm your still aloud to make you own linkshell/company, but iv already have an empty site for a linkshell for this guild me and xikar have talked about it already in the forms somewhere . Just needs a name so it can have a banner

What Lastel said.
The main reason for this guild was establish a close-knit group here.
With the Site Lastel has we'll be able to include players we meet within the game itself.
As for the name I'd like to know information about the Gods and goddesses, the city-states etc. So I we can create a name based around XIV itself.

Names are pretty important though. Its like a first impression that lasts...forever. Its the major factor on how we represent ourselves to others who are not in the guild. I say we brainstorm a good name before you create anything, beacuse there's really no rush to do anything before the game even comes out. Whats wrong with the guild here? It serves its purpose until the game comes out and I'm sure SE will implement one of those link shell websites again.
As for naming suggestions I'd love to see simple names. A one word verb, noun, or adjective that'll just sound bad a** when used out of place as a title. Here's a great place to look around and pick words/ideas:

I, for the most part, just want the name to be original and all the ones you've listed are things that are kinda overdone, no offense. D:
Just to maybe start some idea flow. It be cool to have a linkshell name after one of the /actions that act as emoticons for our characters. It could be our group thing to do the /action as a group hand shake or at linkshell events or something. xD I think I know a few of the ones that are in FFXIV so far:
