-Known as Hell's guard he protects the gate that leads to the underworld allowing any to enter but none to leave.

-Known most popularly as the Three headed dog, it's actually not uncommon to find other depictions as having more heads, similar to the Hydra but without the regrowing factor.

-Cerberus is said to be siblings to the Hydra, the Nemean Lion, the Sphinx, the Ladon, the Chimera and Orthrus, the two headed hellhound.

-The child of Echidna, a hybrid half-woman and half-serpent, and Typhon, a fire-breathing giant who made even the Olympian gods tremble.
