The siblings.. (Owned by Fur) (Owned by myself) ...The Prompts Prompt One:
Free style! Show me what you got!
Prompt Two:
Your having a dream.. Your walking through the forest, the moon shinning overhead. The sounds of the night are subtle, just barely audible as your bare feet move you across the ground. A soft glow catches your eye, it's blue standing out amongst the dark backdrop. You wander to it, discovering a cave! It's crystals shimmering with magic...

I'm dreaming. I just know I'm dreaming. But it feels so real... I look up and the moon is shining down on me, I can almost feel her rays cooling my fur, so unlike the harsh light and heat of her sister sun. My paws are taking my someplace...where? I glance around, looking for something familiar. I don't even see my parents...my siblings...it's just me, all alone. But that's okay. I can sense there is nothing in the forest tonight that wants to hurt me. Blue. I see it, and my paws carry me closer to it, my eyes drawn to the color contrasting sharply against the black of night. As I grow closer, I see more of the same blue color. A whole cave, full of crystals that seem to glow and shimmer, swirling with color. Impossible! Isn't it? They're so beautiful. I step further into the cave and I can feel the magic radiating from each crystal. I can feel a tingling beneath my fur, a tickle that makes me laugh, the sound echoing off the walls and the crystals. Suddenly I hear a rumble, and a tinkling. The crystals are vibrating, the cave floor shaking beneath my paws. My laugh must have triggered a cave in! Crystals fall from the cave ceiling onto my fur and around my paws. I try to turn around, to run, but I can't! I'm stuck in place while the cave rumbles around me. The ceiling falls...!
And I wake up. I shake my head to clear it, and look around to see my familiar surroundings. I sigh, sad that it was indeed only a dream. I turn to roll onto my other side and hear a crunching, feeling it all across my back. Jumping to my paws, I shake myself, and bits of crystal, gently glowing, fall from my fur. It wasn't just a dream! I know where I'm going later tonight...

The howling was what kept me awake most of that night. For some reason the nearby wolf pack was making a racket and I was about to shout at them when it suddenly and miraculously stopped. I thought for a moment that it was a dream in heaven that they had decided to be quiet. Now maybe I could get some sleep. My lids were heavy. I hadn't been sleeping well these past days. Something was always stirring or making a sound that bothered me. I wished that for once I had not come to this god forsaken preserve. Thought the one thing I could not deny was that the wolves. The wolves were some of the most beautiful things I had seen in my years. I tried my hardest to cope with being here and many times I had thought of leaving. Something just always had me questioning why I wanted to leave. So no matter how often my mind rebelled against staying here, my soul always made me stay. I was happy in a way. Having my own little pack around me.
I can easily be happy with these things. I looked to my left and saw Tsukiko curled up by the fire. She seemed so happy to be warm. Mostly a loner she only really talked to me. Recently she had been opening up. I rubbed my eyes and sighed. They were scratchy with not getting sleep. I tried once again to force my eyes closed. This time it worked. Happily enough I drifted off to my dreams. The howling started again only slightly after I fell to dreaming.
I woke and stared around. The fire was still burning heartily and Tsukiko was still curled up by the fire. I wasn't entirely sure why I was awake as I could have only slept for a little less than an hour judging by our mother moons' position. I watched the fire as it crackled and spit out sparks. Tsukiko didn't seem all that bothered with being so close to the flames. Still I worried about her, so I wanted over and patted her a few times. This elicited no reaction out of her and I wondered at that moment what was going on. I touched her ears softly and still nothing. It almost seemed like time had stopped for her. I panicked and looked around. That was when I noticed an eerie howling sound and the fact that the fire had stopped in time as well. What was I going to do..? This I had no real certainty of. For the most part I ran screaming around the fire for a while. When the straight out terror subsided a bit, I looked up and say finally that there was a small blueish glow just a few leagues off to the right. I started to walk and still wasn't sure what was happening.
My feet were compelled to move to that light, and I did nothing to stop it. I was intrigued to say the least. As I walked I noticed the crystal in the trees were becoming few and far between. Making it ever so dark in the path I walked. The glow still taunted and teased me. I walked further and further along the trail and finally came to the entrance of a deep, dark, and rather odd smelling cave. I sniffed once and gagged, then deigned not to do that again. Trying to to breath from my nose was a hard thing to do but it was something I had to do. "Hello..?" I called out and received no answer from the blackness. I looked into the cave and decided that nothing was remotely wrong so I turned away and started walking back to my camp.
That was when I heard a pained sounding yip from the cave and the light glowed brightly behind me. I turned surprised at the sound and the wondrous light. My feet once again compelled to enter the cave began walking. The smell had vanished and the wall of the cave were covered in brightly glowing crystals of all different colors. Once again the yip resounded through the cave. Or was it a whine..? I was not sure but I was damn sure I needed to find out. If someone or something was hurt in this cave and needed some help then she would offer it. I had nothing better to do that to follow her feet and wonder.
Eventually I reached a small rounded room that was obviously man made and odd looking. The yip or whine resounded again and I looked down at my feet to see a small pup. She was beautiful colored. Her fur a gradient blue green, and her back was tipped with the starlight above. I reached down and looked to the pup. It seemed that she was dreaming. I touched her star tipped fur and she woke with a start launching herself into my arms. She cuddled and murred, all the while shivering. I started to speak then, "Dear sweet pup. Why are you out here all alone..? Where is your mother..? What has happened...?" The pup did not answer and only whimpered and shivered more. After a time of soothing and petting her she started to come around. She looked into my eyes and continued to star. Her eyes were filled with ever shifting rainbows. She was a beautiful pup and I wanted to take her home and to be her mother for as long as she needed me. As if suspecting what I wanted she murred lightly and touched her nose to my forehead.
The next thing I knew I was back at my campsite with the fire dying out and the world back to normal. The only thing that was different was that the pup was curled into the crook of my arm. I smiled down at her and smoothed down her fur. Her little doggie lips turned up into a smile. I could have cried at the cuteness I was seeing. I curled up on my side with the pup in my arms and fell asleep. The smile still on my face.
What a grand adventure my dreams had taken me on. I hoped one day to have another just like this one. Only this time with my puppy at my side.
