My name is Natalia, and I masturbate at least once a day, but up to three times a day. This has been going on for about two weeks, and I'm young... I hit puberty a year ago, and I was wondering what is the appropriate age for a girl to start to masturbate?

You can masturbate as often as you want. Some people masturbate once a month, some masturbate once a week, some masturbate once a day, some masturbate five times a day, etc. It's just a matter of preference, how much free time you have, how much you get in the mood, and how much your body can handle! If you're young it's normal to be in the mood a lot.

Masturbation is fine, normal, and healthy at any age, so you can start masturbating at whatever age you want as well. Some people don't start until their 20s. Others start in their teens. Others start before puberty. Some even start masturbating when they are toddlers! It all just depends on when a person has urges, when they learn that certain stimulation feels good, if they were told that masturbation is bad for some reason, etc.

So everything that you said sounds very normal.

Well, umm, that's good I guess. Another question!
I'm still a virgin, and I used to just grind against an old pillow, but I only started to c** recently, when I started having phone sex with my boyfriend on the weekend. redface

I've started putting one or two fingers in there, but I don't like thrust them, I just wiggle the tips of my fingers, and it's amazing. I slowly put a new small toothbrush handle in there, and felt nothing. Is there anything I can put in there that's safe and will feel good?
I'm way too young to buy a vibrator. DX

A lot of people try to get creative and use random things around the house as sex toys. But that's usually a bad idea. Because things that seem fine and feel fine to your hand can sometimes be too rough, too sharp, or too hot for your v****a. Things you find around the house also often have germs on them that you wouldn't want inside your v****a. Or the things will be shared or touched by family members after you use them, which is also not sanitary. So I generally recommend sticking with fingers until you can buy a real sex toy.

For clitoral stimulation, you could use an adjustable, removable shower head if you have one. 3nodding

note to on the masturbating to often deal, its ok to do it as much as you please but once you start replacing things with masturbating and make any excuse to find extra time to masturbate then it start becoming a problem and its a sign to start laying off of it

see if you can have someone get you a sex toy if you cant find anyone or dont feel like asking, ask your mom if you can pick out an electric tooth brush, pick one out with a smooth handle

I do it like once a day. I haven't used anything besides my fingers.

Your post topic asked the question; "Is it morally wrong?"

The short answer is yes. The longer, more complex, depends on how you believe in god.

For example, I believe (which is stated in the Gospel) that we are all invited to become sons (including daughters, implicitly) of God. God, as our Father, is loving, forgiving, merciful and understanding. He knows we aren't perfect. In this, he only asks that we love Him, and try to acknowledge our flaws and errors.

How you believe in God (and your spirituality) will provide you with a better answer than just the - yes.

Most people masturbate. It's normal, and even healthy. Even most Christians agree that it's fine to do. Because most of them agree that the Bible doesn't specifically condemn it and that the who people think the Bible condemns it have simply taken Biblical passages completely out of context.

The Bible was compiled (from more ancient documents - books) in Greek, and 300 years after Christ during the Christian period of the Roman Empire (often called the Byzantine Empire). At the time, when people were literate, there were churches, monasteries with libraries (like the Library of Alexandria). At the time, the Bible was one of many books. The early church did not have the concept of the deadly sins - so there was no explicit condemnation. The early church reflected my belief - and it is us who turns God away, not God. The entire Bible is written in this context - the rejection of Christ as God by man (the species not the gender).

"For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth." [Romans 10:4]

John 1

16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

John 1

10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

The word sons encompasses both genders. This was changed around 800 AD - to be gender specific.

I don't see how anything you just said relates to masturbation.

The shorter answer is "no" unless you are religious. Anyone who doesn't have a religion or doesn't believe in a God or higher power will say "No, there is nothing wrong with masturbation." But everyone is different, so the answer is subjective. Some will tell you it is morally wrong (@ the OP), while others will tell you no it's not.

Then again, that's not even the point of this thread. The OP is asking when is an ok age to start masturbating at.

"Is it morally wrong?" is the title of this topic, although not what discussed. I was replying to the question (her topic subject - see the top -and title- of this thread), which was different from what she wrote in her OP - and which was not answered.

Fair enough. I was answering her first post, not the title. My mistake.

I was seven when I started and got more creative when I was ten, now at 16 I have a computer and access to plenty of porn, but my sister practically lives in my room so I don't get to do it as often as I want. ;A;

When I was starting I was afraid to put anything in and even a pencil hurt when I first tried. I moved up to a marker later and then used rounded ends of lip gloss tubes, then a rounded brush handle. But now I just use my fingers since they're not rigid and can apply varying pressure to my g-spot.
