The shy one

James Lanam
During the beginning of time... wait not time, just the beginning of James time. James was born in a very poor family consisting of only his mother.It was okay to live in this stipulations of being a farmer for some time until James mother died of overwork.It wasn't that hard of a lost since James understood how life goes at an early age.
James was always considered to be a genius. In fact he was considered the smartest in the country, and at that time, that was saying something.
He doesn't talk often nor does he even look at people often. James could usually be found reading a book on a quiet secluded place.
On one of those regular days though, James found very interesting book about archery and learned it fairly quickly.
It became a daily routine for James to practice archery until one day, he was discovered by the king himself.
From that day on, James became one of the king's royal guard.

The shy one

It was yet again one of those days when James continue to scan through books. People of the castle called it scanning because within minutes, he would be finished reading books of scholar level.
People often pushed him to actually become a scholar, but he liked reading and working for the king much better. Atleast that way, he knew he had a purpose.
But today something strange happened. Today the king married a queen from another land. Maybe it was for the pure power to control all the lands both owned, or they just simply love each other. James knew one thing, the king ordered him to come with him every time he meets the king.
James didn't disagree but wondered who else was coming.

The Bookworm

Mena Wolfe

Mena had lived her whole life in the castle. Her father was a duke and she was a lady of the court. She spent most days reading in the garden. A parasol in one hand and a book in the other. She loved watching the children out playing among the flowers and the cool breeze blowing through her hair. She felt free when she was reading. It was her escape.
Mena lazily sat under a tree in the garden. She was still wearing the gown that she wore to the King's wedding. She opened the book and turned the crisp new pages. It was a romance novel. Those were her favorite.

Arik (The 'Ladies' Man)



Arik had been born into royalty. As a child, his best friend was the king himself, or prince at the time. His father had been close friends to the king of that time. When he died, he had to take care of his best friend who was in total devestation. Then the prince had claimed the thrown and immediately appointed him as the head of the royal guard. He had been ecstatic because this meant he could be closer to the king. He had been in love with the king since he was 16 and found out he liked men. Although he liked men, he hid it because he didn't want his parents or the king to find out.

He was surprised to find out the king had married a queen from a neighboring land. He wasn't too surprised since the king had been thinking about asking her hand in marriage for the past month, but still a little shocked probably at the fact that she said yes, if anything. Especially since the last time she saw the king, she had kicked him right between the jewels and proceeded to call him every name in the book. That had been funny to see despite the obvious pain his friend was in. He had taken him home and doctored him up. From that day a month ago, the king had been dreaming about her constantly.
