Okay, Fallout 3 is my favorite video game. (I KNOW I KNOW it's not Mass Effect. Please don't burn me at the stake.)
Anyway, I am dying of excitement for this game. It comes out in November, I think... I'm actually preordering it. rofl
So does anybody else like the FO series? I don't like FO1, FO2 because I don't like traditional RPG's, and I haven't gotten around to playing FO Tactics yet...

AARRRGGH! I like Fallout 3 as well. I never played the original Fallout games either, I think Fallout 3 was rather different compared to them with the ol' Elder Scrolls elements added to it. I believe Fallout New Vegas has some of the developers who worked on Fallout 1 and 2 working on it as well, so it is bound to be pretty sweet.

I adored the 2 original fallout
The second especially...it was completly vulgar, outrageous...hell I pimped my wife...(I did chose the girl over a husband or a cow...give you an idea) The father of the lil barn was happy but I think he didn't enjoy talking to my plasma gun with his old shotty
Also was a porn star...ah, the good time...

I hope they keep the same damn attitude that made fallout 3 looks almost like a rated E game. lol
I did make good money outta pimpin my wife...lol

I love fallout 3. I like ME better but I still love it. but Bethesda isnt developing it. Obsidian is so well have to see if they can live up to it But Bethesda is still publishing it

So, who else is excited for hardcore mode? Ammo has weight, you have to drink and eat and sleep, injuries can only be healed with doctor's bags or by a doctor, and stimpacks have a gradual heal as opposed to an instant heal.
I think I'd like it better without the stimpack thing, but the only negative is that once you turn hardcore mode off, you can't turn it back on.
I talked to my brother and he did have a good question- How does it affect fast travel? WILL there be fast travel? Hmmm....

I'm so excited for it! I'm gonna try it on Hardcore mode...But I'm really apprehensive about it. It's supposed to be awesome, but ammo having weight throws my whole plan off.

Sounds cool though, my only problem would be how I'm a pack rat in these sorta games. I can't just stick to one or two really cool weapons, I have to keep pretty much every unique weapon that I find (or cool armor I may feel like wearing later) in my pack at all times, as well as pick up every bit of ammo, including ammo for guns I don't have because who knows when I'll have a gun for it? xd
But I'll adapt.

Yeah I always try to collect as much as I can in FO3. I keep like 1 of every item (non-unique items, anyway) in my character's house just for safekeeping. rofl What I'm doing right now is just dicking around looking for unique items. I'm putting the neutral record on hold for now. I reeeally hate Operation Anchorage, but you do get the best armor...
