Acacia walked slowly as she surveyed an unclaimed land near the Aves and Ignis Renatus packs. It was in a highly forested area, and laid right on the edge of a stream. It was the perfect place for a pack that she would someday create. A small sigh escaped her teeth. Even though she was breaking her rule of never showing an emotion she did anyways. Her thoughts were constantly leading her to wonder if she could really create her own pack. If she was strong enough to command a pack. Deep down she knew that she was leader material, however, she had no experiance in being a leader. Acacia could not remember her family nor where she had come from. She could only remember roaming the land in search of a place just like this so that she could make her own pack. After a few moments she resumed her walk around the territory. It seemed to her like the ideal spot, however, she needed to know just how far the territory for the Aves and Ignis Renatus reached. She finally stopped, smelling that she was about to enter the territory of the Ignis Renatus. Today she was not in the mood for a territory fight, and decided it would be best to just walk away and save it for another day.

She quietly walked along the boarder, sniffing lightly so that she could stake out what would need to be done in order to claim the land as her's. Her heart began to beat faster, allowing her adrenaline level to rise. Acacia loved the feeling that it gave her. She felt as if she could take anything on, and win. Once she had allowed herself to enjoy her emotions she quickly closed them all back up in the box she called a heart. Her cold demenor was due to her not feeling like she could trust others, and that would lead to her weakness. Acacia would not allow herself to be beaten before she had even begun her quest for power. She knew that one day she would allow some other's into her confidence, but that day would not be soon.

The pup had wandered far from where her mother slept, bright red fur flashing here and there as her paws stumbled, allowing for a black mane to sway away from her eyes.

Aug'Hbar had tried to wake her brother, the cream little b*****d who whimpered and kicked in his sleep but he would have none of it. It became the topic of mental conversation as she trudged along, ears pricked and tuned to every crack and crunch of the forest; Auggie didn't even like him! In fact she could almost say she loathed his existence! Kriemhild was needy and weak, always prying into mothers arms to be coddled...But, she had found something in him that peaked interest. He was ever so bright, and he often led them in their adventures--which oddly enough comforted her. In the moment, Auggie figured that he was company and regardless of how she usually felt...company was what she needed.

In reality, of course, what Aug'Hbar needed was guidance. Constant and everlasting...

She stopped when a scuffle of feet drummed across the forest floor. And then, when a bright red and fluffy figure maneuvered her way through the bulk of shrubs and leaves, Aug'Hbar grinned.

Despite her age and size, Aug'Hbar was brave; she was strong. She knew she could take on almost any pup big or small...but adult wolves, they purposed a greater challenge. One that Aug'Hbar had yet to encounter, and was dying to know of. It would be dangerous and, perhaps, she would end up falling victim to a hungry cannibal...but what was life without the risks?

Her haughty attitude sent her body forward, propelled by feet much wider then the average pups. Her abnormally large snout flared and sucked in the new scent as if it were a rare delicacy, wide jaws held ajar and salivating. Her eyes, golden and set on the opposing female, rolled somewhat in delight; there was an air of uncertainty surrounding her, but the thrill evaded it almost completely, giving Auggie the confidence of a God.

Stopping short just several feet away, her voice came like a whisper carried on the wind; sweet, lulling, and yet resounding without the crack of doubt she held fast. "Hello?"

Acacia stopped and turned when she heard a young voice, wondering what it could have come from. Her emotions were still tightly locked in her chest, and she had no reason to let them out. Once she was fully turned she noticed there was a small pup with a red and white body standing near her. Her light grayish blue eyes looked the small thing over, looking to see a mark of where it belonged. "Young pup, I do not have time for games." Acacia said with a light musical voice. By her looks and attitude her voice seemed almost wrong with the rest of her. She knew this as well. Her voice should have been more menacing, but it wasn't. This also gave her an edge as well. She could throw wolves off by making it seem she was less of a threat then she actually was.

Acacia stood there for a few moments before she let out a light snort of air and continued walking. She could feel that the small pup was in the mood for something exciting and a challenge. She would give this to the pup eventually, but only if she continued to follow. It would be in her best interest to have a pup acquaintance, one that might one day help her with her forming of a pack. Acacia stopped and looked back at the pup. "You wish for something challenging?" She asked with a hint of curiousity. Then after she had asked she once more continued her walk.

Initially Aug'Hbar was at a standstill. She thought she caught a hint of interest when the older female looked her over, but then--she turned away! Leaving Auggie in her place until those oddly trusting blue eyes peeked over a well ruffled shoulder to coax her on...It baffled her, but the stipulation kept her own curiosity at its peak.

Follow for adventure. Follow...just to follow.

It was in her nature. She would go without question.

"I'm not playing any games..." was her first response, a lift at the end hinting to a question. Her head turned to the left and then to the right before fixing itself back on the female for a final time.

Her lips parted in a grin, goofy but fearsome nonetheless. It looked more like a crazed scowl then anything else, but Auggie would take it; she was a lot like this stranger, who would not often bear emotion. Her paws were moving again, long white nails pressing into the soil, a short tail covered in tufts of curling fur swaying limply by her thighs while the rest of her, tingling with excitement, made its way to the red and yellow female.

Mother would not approve...not one bit, but without the proper upbringing of two parents who, in most cases, would offer different vantage points of life and how to avoid danger Auggie didn't much care for the feelings of the white alpha. These sort of random actions would one day get her into trouble, but the fault would rest in her alone; so she decided it right to take what chances she could. She slipped into an easy pace, trying to be more careful then usual all the while keeping a distance between the creature she trailed.

There was an...oddity about her, a sort of mischief that Aug'Hbar had yet to encounter. She liked the way it felt not to know anything at all and yet to follow willingly, even though her gut rang its wild alarms. This was the kind of adventure she wanted; this was the challenge she needed. Her eyes had to keep to her target, wavering emotions and decisions flickering across the immovable stare...Tilting her head, she offered another set of choice words.

"You look quite strong for a female, like me. Are you alone?" She couldn't smell another wolf on her, not one with a strong and lingering odor at least and she figured the adult probably wouldn't offer the truth if it were so...but she asked anyway.

Acacia had seen the young pup turn her head to the left and then the right as she replied, hinting at something. She shrugged whatever it was off, continuing her walk. The pup followed after her even though she did not no where Acacia was going. Her interest in the pup grew, maybe she would be of great use to her one day. For now she would test her and learn more about her loyality before any decisions about her future use would be made. Acacia heard the pup ask her if she was alone, just like her. She thought about her question for a moment, deciding that it would not harm her later to tell the truth. "I am alone young one. For the time being anyways." Acacia spoke as she slightly turned her head to look at the young pup. "Although, I am more then positive you have been around other wolves recently. In fact, quite a few." Acacia said, gently sniffing the air.

Acacia walked in slience for several paces, thinking about how to ask her next question. "Young one. What are you called in your home?" Acacia asked, not looking back at her this time. She hesitated for a moment before stopping. Just a pace away was several recent paw prints, although they were rather small. Most likely from pups just like the one following her, maybe they were from some of her kin. Acacia nodded towards the paw prints. "Young one, are these fresh prints or old prints?" She asked, testing the pup. If she couldn't answer correctly it wouldn't matter, but she wanted to see how much the pup knew.

"For the time being?" Auggie snapped in response, picking up her pace only slightly. "Are you alone now but making your way back to something? Or..." There was still an ounce of doubt in her face, one that wondered what this female planned on doing or who she was, or perhaps if she stood as a threat to Aug'Hbar and her family...but that uncertainty kept her paws from stalling; it kept her from glancing around and searching for a sure fire escape. She didn't want to leave, it was her curse. Finally, she dropped the questions and lifted her tail high, finding a place that gapped the adult and herself.

Then there came a series of minutes that flew by ever so quickly. At first she worried; there had only been an hour or two separating her mother and herself so the scent mingled with her own evidently, and the brothers she fought with often were included in the mix. Then she felt a dash of excitement. This female wanted to know her name and saying it felt just as natural as drinking water from a foreign stream. In the back of her mind she continued to question the situation, but her heart raced and her ears pounded with the sound of adventure; she fell into every word the adult female said without so much as a fight. But the most thrill came when the test was made clear, and before her were a sloppy lot of prints made by a sloppy, learning pup. She grinned when her nose picked up on a lingering odor; a lingering stench.

"My name is Aug'Hbar, and these prints are new indefinitely. Freshly made by the ruckus I'm sure my brother as been a part of." By her brother, she meant Kriemhild; the boy whose life story would some day be as tragic as her own. Drawing her golden gaze off the soiled earth, her smile faded. Auggie looked to the stranger and tilted her head some, a dark glint suggesting some sort of mischief the pup would be interested undoubtedly. "May I ask you of your name? And why do these...markings interest you?"
