So I'm trying to join Cloudy and I was browsing their forums (which aren't nearly as active as I suspected them to be) and I noticed a lot of familiar names about.

So who's all joined up there? Have we made Cloudy this guilds go to Company or something?

As a side note I love that they're called Companies and not Linkshells in XIV, Linkshells never seemed formal enough for me.

What's cloudy?

Also yeah I like companies a lot better than Linkshells.

I mean in XI it sorta made sense since everybody was LINKed together by carrying around Pearls created from Shells (or pearl sacks)

there are still going to be linkshells in FFXIV, but there will also be companies... which they haven't fully announced the details about them yet. but it's like a linkshell with add-on benefits.

cloudy is a ffxiv guild http://www.cloudyXIV.org , we accept applications but you really ought to sign on vent and let the leader warstormer get to know you or he will probably skip over your application, as he wants the linkshell to be friend based. i'm very sure we will be aloud multiple linkshells and companies in ffxiv. and the cloudy leader warstormer is perfectly fine with us cloudy members (I'm an official member) having multiple linkshells. So I will also be joining the Gaia FFXIV linkshell as well.

Anyone is allowed to join the FFXI Gilgamesh server Cloudy linkshell, whether you're accepted into Cloudy's XIV guild or not. So if you'd like to play with us, there's still time ^^

Where do I submit a request to join the Company on Cloudy?

Yes please! I'm thinking we should start another website for the Gaia FFXIV players though. We have tons of inactives here, and I think having this as like our booth on Gaia to advertise from would be awesome, and then direct them to headquarters elsewhere. It will allow us to get an accurate count of how many of us will actually be playing, what we'll be playing, etc. It's just harder to keep track of these things on Gaia.

Of course, we could always clean up the guild and do the same thing here? We'd just need to weed out the inactives and make some accurate polls ^^

None of us that plan to be a part of Cloudy should forget that this guild is going to be a very social/friendly LS and will bring a lot of joy to our experience. So lets make both of the groups as awesome as possible!

We will still need to come up with an awesome name ^^ Tho first we gotta find a direction to take the name in. Cause having people saying random names that aren't even going to be considered just makes things messy ><

I don't have that problem all my friends (and i do mean all) are out of state again for college... so i got nonething really to do till they come back for holidays/summer.

Also you should at least get on and use you thf to help me get keys for my rse razz then you can quit lol

I don't think we should kick anyone from this guild until AFTER ffxiv comes out. people are inactive because they can't even play yet, so wait until they actually have something to write about. also, there are going to be members of this guild who don't wish to join the ffxiv Gaia linkshell. as this is just a FFXIV guild, many people will be on different servers anyways. I suggest creating a new guild for the gaia ffxiv linkshell players, and to not kick anyone from this guild. i still hold strong to my wishes that the ffxiv gaia linkshell will be named after something relating to gaia. but i guess the name is really not that important, since when the game comes out we wont be spending much time on gaia anymore. but i was hoping with a gaia related name, we could easily recruit people already playing ffxiv who have gaia accounts.
