Background:
As a child he lived with his father, his mother died giving birth to his little brother a year after. At the age of four his father make Him join a Dojo to training in the style of Mujushin Kenjutsu like all the males in the family.
Growing up in the Dojo he lived by the way of the Bushido and Mujushin Kenjutsu for 155 years before truly leaving the dojo to become an Shinigami. In the Academy he excelled in Swordsmanship over all other classmates and was shown
He was grasping the basic control of advanced techniques in Months where it would take several years for even the most Shinigami to learn. He passed the Academy's six year program in four and was placed in Division 11 because of his swordsmanship.
Sometime after his rank of 3 seat of the 11th division he moved to rank of Vice-captain he got wind that his younger brother had killed his father in a dual to the death, and he knew what was coming next. It only took a week for his brother to
come to him. Raiden accepted his brother challenged and because he was far more training he easily cut him down in three movements as his brother charged him, Without looking back at his brother's cold body Raiden left the populated courtyard.
A few years after that Raiden fell in love with a women by the name of Hanae, they married after 6 years of a relationship. Two years after his wedding he was asked to become the Captain on Division 13, He didn't even think about saying no. He became Captain around the age of 180, he has been captain of Division 13 for 110 years.
