the story It all started with a dream. A dream that dragged a sleeping Aztec god to Gaia, chaining him to a bond that anchored him in this foreign realm.
He started as a newborn. They told him he was Fa'e and that Airi gifted him a second chance at life. They praised and worshiped the creator Fa'e for the what she gave them.
As a child, he found out the truth behind her 'gift'.
As a teen, he discovered and reclaimed the lost pieces of his godly soul. Able to finally grasp Airi's methods, but not her motivations, Naolin began nurturing and feeding a hatred for the girl and her constant meddling.
Enter Chaos, grande enemy of the Fa'e. Sentenced to eternity in limbo, he sent his minions to his tasks. At first, the attacks happened only in rare, fleeting bursts. However, his appearances became more frequent and notable, causing more damage and creating tension in the community. All the while he quietly tested for cracks and weaknesses in his impenetrable prison, biding his time for the perfect moment.
His chance eventually came, and he didn't hesitate. This time though, he didn't go after the Fa'e themselves. They protected themselves too well. No, this time he went after their anchors, their weak link to existence.
The bonds, or guardians, suddenly began dropping like flies. Some died quickly, others slow and painfully. Others were simply wounded by the backlash, while some managed to remain unscathed by the event. Unfortunately, Naolin's guardian wasn't one of the lucky ones.
Faced with fading back into oblivion without a strong bond, the Aztec immediately went to work finding a solution to this looming issue. His solution became a replacement guardian.
This is that story.
