Ok, I've been feeling really down for a few weeks now and I can't seem to bring myself out of it. I'm just hoping for some purkle hugs what will lift my spirits up again. I hate feeling this way and I don't want to have to start going to counseling again.

Hope you perk up soon Rue, do you get enough sunlight this time of the year? i fight S.A.D every winter, it really gets me down a lot, i've considered getting one of the lights they use to treat it, but they're all so ugly! sweatdrop

It's been very grey and dreary here. I usually feel this way at some point during the winter season, just not for this long. I'm hoping it's just because 2005 was a very hard year for me and it's nothing more.

Awww Rue, I hope you start feeling better soon!! I hate slumps like that, especially when they drag on and you think you should have started feeling better by now. sad It can't last forever, but I just hope you can bear with it somehow until something picks you up again. *huge hugs and lots of purkle vibes that whatever you need to get out of this comes your way soooooon!!* heart heart heart

Maybe see your regular MD and see what they suggest when sunshine is limited as well as checking for some unsuspected organic reason "?" We had way more than our normal rainfall last year, and to top it off I had gotten so ill that I literally feared for my well being and ended up feeling like it mattered to very few people (even my family was rolling their eyes after a while) but when I finally found someone who could diagnose me, I have felt alot more relieved, if not always better. Please do not wait to go see someone, and if you do not feel right about the answer, keep looking. Mine turned out to be as *simple* as a broken tooth that needed a root canal but in the mean time I had days where I ran such a fever I could not summon up the energy to get off the couch! I knew the tooth was broken all along, but never imagined an abcess could do that much damage! ~ moral of the story is, check everything, cause you never know eek

i trully hope you feel beter soon Rue, i really think it it will be SAD, you're probably feeling it more this year because of the family loses you've suffered and it will be that much harder to snap yourself out of it. Hope you have some nice bright weather so you can get yourself out in it and cheer yourself up. We must feel sorry for Ebil though, she has a solid 6 months of this every year sad
