kuroi kokoru or blackheart,named by her village mates from the reservation ,walked through her clans territory, her paws sinking into the ground, from the rain yesterday. she looked about her clans territory. dark skies and almost black trees, this was the land of shadow. shadow clans land. though they had clear clean rivers and plentiful healthy trees, the forest seemed dead. it was fine with her though, its better when the sun is hidden she thought to herself. kuroi was the same as her name a dark colored fox with gold sliding through her fur, but her personality didnt suit her name she was kind and just although firm and slightly moody.

she stopped walking as she neared fireclan territory and waited for thier leader.

((were just going to call kuroi blackheart)) blackheart watched the bright orange fox walking toward thier border. flame. that was her name flame. blackheart thought of her past her ice blue eyes gazing off into the distance. she remembered being brough to the reservation because she was in fox form and turned human in front of another child. she had only been thirteen then and didnt like that child picking on her. sarah was that terrible childs name. the girl kicked her in knocked her into a corner, and blackheart had bit her and sent her running for her mom. her mother came and called the police. she was bleeding so she freaked out, blackheart had stayed there. they sent her to the reservation and she was accepted because there were other kitsunes there, but her best friend was sakudo a tengu, sent there as a two years old. blackheart remembered playing with him until he escaped when they were sixteen..she also remembered him saying he would find her when she escaped. now where was he? once she escaped she madeit to the clan and fought her way through the ranks. she was deemed the hier for leader. as the fireclan leader appeared she came from her thoughts and turned human:

Aqua padded through her territory, her life was OK, her parents had died a few months ago, she noticed that Blackheart and Flame were talking at the border.

Flame thought about it for a while,"Perhaps it is love,but other kitsunes might think that you should have loves out of clans if they find out,"She finished,lashing her tail back and forth.She spotted Aqua and nodded a greeting to her.While Blackheart and Aqua were talking,she gazed around Fire Clan's territory.Wondering how the heck she ever got up to the leader's rank.She remembered being brought into the reserve as a young child--Having attacked a teen that was abusing her.She was accepted by the kitsunes.She still remembered life in the clan when she was lower ranked.Other kitsunes had never really liked her and she was always quiet.The only time her real personality showed was when they accused her of killing one of her clanmates.Flame defended herself,not giving in.She got proof of who killed them and the clan exiled the killer.Flame got a bit of respect then...Flame tore her gaze away from the territory and turned back to Blackheart & Aqua.

Aqua nodded a greeting to Flame and Blackheart, she smiled a bit at what Blackheart said about her getting whiter. She frowned when she said something about a problem. "If it is love, there is nothing that can get in thw way, unless thw two kitsunes starts to love someone else."

blackheart stopped and sat, she sang the shadow foxes song and the willowopened its branches to reveal her camp. the dens were made from the roots of the beautiful tree, and covered in blue lichen. there were foxes of many shades of gray and black and a couple white. she was black but she also had yellow symbols running through her fur. "black heart!," the twins mauri and hachi shouted:

"we heard you would be gone all night! welcome home,can we uh, go outside of camp now?," "that is up to me not our leader, and mauri shouldnt you be with your mentor?," asked hachi's trainer wicked. wicked was one of the rare silver foxes that lived within shadowclan. he was also the deputy in shadow clan:
